Kauan Berdinazzi is from Salvador (Ba), Soteropolitano and now resides in Italy in Lodi! She is currently working on her modeling career, which she had already started here in Brazil, and it was one of the key points in her decision to move to Italy! Kauan is a supporter of the cause in favor of LGBTQUIAP+ due to his experience and his experiences, he has become a great model of overcoming when it comes to the subject.

In recent years, the fight for equal rights and inclusion of LGBTQUIAP+ people has gained more and more space in the media and society in general. In this context, a new model emerges that aims to promote acceptance of these people, encouraging empathy and understanding.

The idea is to promote empathy and understanding, showing that each person is unique and has the right to live freely, without prejudice or discrimination.

However, despite the advances, the fight for equality is still long and challenging. There are still many cases of prejudice and discrimination against LGBTQUIAP+ people, and it is essential that society engages in this fight for a fairer and more inclusive world.

In this way, we need more examples of struggle and courage like Kauan, who overcame his own issues to become a forerunner in the subject and lead as an example people who need shelter, so that they feel encouraged to be who they are!

We had the opportunity to interview the model that exudes beauty, charisma and talent! Come with us!

Kauan Berdinazzi a pleasure to have you here with us at Hooks! Tell us a little more about your trajectory, where are you from, and where do you live now?

I'm from Salvador Ba: Soteropolitan I currently reside in Italy in Lodi.

2-When did you realize that you did not identify with the norms of gender and/or sexual orientation expected by society? How was that process?

Still in childhood, I observed my effeminate aspects, and concluded that society manifested itself retroactively in confrontation with me, very disgusted by the way, it was then that I decided that I needed to deal with self-acceptance, something challenging and that needs to be built over time. of time in the face of much self-knowledge.

3-How do you believe the media can help LGBTQUIAP+ representation? What are your views on the current representation of LGBTQUIAP+ people in the media?

Fortunately, we currently have strong personalities on social media, who, like me, are part of the LGBTQIA+ class and daily see some taboos being broken, that is, the media is really of great help!

4-How does your gender identity and/or sexual orientation influence your career as a model? What are the challenges and opportunities you face?

Sincerely and honestly, today would be my first questionnaire about, it would really be the first opportunity to be acquired and carried out on top of a real catwalk, as the others were denied to me simply because of my sexual orientation! Unfortunately, there is still a lot of prejudice, but I believe that we are on the right path and are constantly fighting so that future generations do not have to face this type of situation.

5-Have you ever participated in any campaign or project related to the LGBTQUIAP+ cause? How was that experience? What do you hope to achieve with this kind of work?

Yes, I have already participated assiduously in several, first LGBTQIAP+ parades, but at the level of Salvadoran neighborhoods, I contributed, bureaucratically
(searching for permissions in city halls, and police assistance) for the safety of our movement!

6-What is your message for people who are still discovering themselves and facing difficulties regarding their gender identity and/or sexual orientation? And what impact do you hope to make as an LGBTQUIAP+ model? What do you want to represent to people?

Self-acceptance is liberating, a unique and indescribable achievement, I would represent the gay and black class that does everything to go wrong, overcomes and overcomes all obstacles!

7- And last but not least: what is your voice? What would you like to shout out to the world if you had the opportunity?

The probability of being happy together is acceptance and respect, because we are all worthy and we can, even if we have different sexual orientation, economic class and skin color, love each other and respect our differences, because learning the unknown is to gain knowledge!
