- Moto Boho: The Trend That Blends Rebellion and Romance in Streetwear
Photo Disclosure Pinterest If biker style and boho aesthetics seem like opposites, the Moto Boho trend proves they can coexist in perfect harmony. Combining the rebellious energy of motorcyclists with the fluid, artisanal touch of bohemian fashion, this style is taking over both the streets and the social media feeds of fashionistas who love the balance between toughness and softness. What Defines Moto Boho? Picture an oversized leather jacket paired with a flowing lace dress. Or a heavy western boot complementing a sheer, airy skirt. Moto Boho is all about mixing contrasting materials, creating a sophisticated yet urban take on the boho aesthetic. Photo Disclosure Pinterest Key elements of this style include: ✔ Oversized biker jackets – Classic leather pieces get a fresh update, often featuring fringes or metallic details. ✔ High boots and chunky combat boots – The moto-inspired touch that adds attitude to the look. ✔ Fringes and suede – A folk texture that balances the weight of leather. ✔ Flowy dresses and satin skirts – Delicate pieces that soften the rebellious feel. ✔ Distressed denim and vintage leather – Urban elements that bring authenticity to the aesthetic. ✔ Western accessories – Statement belt buckles, structured handbags, and layered necklaces with stones complete the look. How to Wear Moto Boho in Everyday Outfits? Photo Disclosure Pinterest The secret to mastering this trend is in the styling. If your base includes heavier elements—like leather pants and combat boots—balance them with a lightweight blouse featuring lace or ruffled details. On the other hand, if you’re going for a delicate dress, layering it with a biker jacket or a suede fringed vest creates the perfect contrast. An all-denim look is also a great way to embrace Moto Boho. Pairing a denim jacket and jeans with western boots and a structured leather bag makes for a stylish and effortless outfit. Why Embrace the Moto Boho Trend? Photo Disclosure Pinterest Beyond being versatile and fashion-forward, Moto Boho reflects the current state of fashion, which increasingly celebrates contrasts and individuality. It allows for a playful mix of styles, encouraging unique, expressive outfits that move seamlessly between urban and bohemian influences. Whether on the runway or in street style, Moto Boho proves that fashion is all about balance—and, of course, about making a statement. After all, who says you can’t be both romantic and rebellious at the same time?
- Bella Lima: A Story of Overcoming and Shining in Fashion
Credit: Danilo Friedl Photography Since childhood, Bella Lima knew she wanted to be in the fashion world. She would leaf through magazines, watch campaigns, and dream of one day becoming famous. But to get to where she is today, her journey was marked by challenges that required courage and determination. At 15, reality knocked on her door. To support herself financially, she had to work as a cleaner. For five years, she balanced her dreams with the need to secure her own livelihood. Then, at 20, she made a radical decision: she left everything behind and moved to São Paulo, determined to change her life. "It was hard to stop dreaming and start working so early, but at one point, I decided to throw everything up in the air and chase after what I really wanted," says Bella. Among her major inspirations, Bella mentions Lea T, the Brazilian model who broke barriers and paved the way for a more inclusive fashion industry. She sees this new phase of national fashion as a step forward, where taboos are being broken, and more people can become models, regardless of traditional standards. "Social media has contributed a lot to this change, and I myself use my platforms to show that it's possible," she emphasizes. Brazil has something special when it comes to fashion, and Bella believes this comes from the passion and dedication of the Brazilian people. "Brazilian women have a unique glow that's hard to explain. Whatever we set out to do, we dedicate ourselves fully and give our best," she says. Social media has been essential for Bella to carve out a space and showcase her potential in the fashion world. "They help to highlight and show the value you can offer to the market," she explains. And it is precisely this visibility that has made fashion more accessible to new talents. Bella believes there has never been a more democratic time for those who dream of pursuing this career. "The scene is changing a lot and opening doors for those with drive and talent." Looking ahead, Bella has clear goals: to gain recognition as a model and digital influencer, to participate in major advertising campaigns, and to be on TV. "My role in fashion is to influence people like me, dreamers who came from nothing, without status or financial power, to never give up on what they want." And for those who wish to follow this path, Bella offers a valuable piece of advice: "You don’t need to be rich or have status to be a model. You need to have a dream and the courage to face all the challenges. Be patient, focused, and, above all, understand that success doesn’t allow for laziness." With her own shine, Bella Lima continues to carve out her space, inspiring others and showing that determination and hard work can transform any reality.

Full Interview: 1: What inspired your passion for photography, and how does it influence your work as an influencer and model? My passion came from the admiration I’ve always had for the top models I saw on magazine covers and television. From an early age, I was fascinated by this world and dreamed of being part of it one day. Photography, for me, became more than just capturing images; it transformed into an art form—a way to express beauty, attitude, and personality. As an influencer and model, photography is essential to my work because it allows me to tell stories, convey emotions, and inspire others just as I was once inspired. 2: How do you feel about expressing your personality and style through the photos you share on social media? Every photo I share on social media carries a piece of me, my emotions, and the moment I’m living in. To me, photography goes far beyond just capturing images—it’s a way to express feelings like joy, confidence, sensuality, and even introspection. I believe that every shot sends a message and allows people to connect with me in a genuine way. Photography gives me a voice without needing words, and that’s what makes this process so special. 3: What was the most memorable photoshoot for you, and what did it represent in your creative process? The most memorable photoshoots for me were the ones I did during beauty pageants I participated in. At first, I felt insecure, nervous, and questioned whether I truly belonged in that space. However, as I became more comfortable and faced the cameras with greater ease, I realized how transformative photography can be. These experiences not only strengthened my self-confidence but also taught me how to express myself better in front of the lens. It was a journey of both personal and professional growth that shaped my identity as a model. 4: Photography has the power to tell stories. What kind of message do you like to convey through the images you capture? I love to convey a sense of freedom. For me, posing for the camera is an act of authenticity, boldness, and self-confidence. I want my photos to inspire people to feel free to be who they truly are, without fear of judgment. Every shot should reflect strength, empowerment, and emotion—whether it's through an intense gaze, a spontaneous smile, or a striking pose. My mission is for people to feel something real when they look at my photos, as if each image tells its own unique story. 5: How do you balance your personal life with social media exposure, and what is most important to you in maintaining that balance? Maintaining this balance is essential for me. Even though I share many moments of my life on social media, I always try to separate my personal life from my digital work. However, I believe authenticity is key, so what I share online is a true reflection of who I am in my daily life. The most important thing for me is to remain transparent and stay true to my essence, without creating an image that doesn’t align with my reality. I share what makes sense to me while always respecting my own boundaries. 6: Who are your biggest photographic inspirations, and how do they influence your artistic vision and career? My biggest inspirations are the great models who have built iconic careers and gained recognition in the world of fashion and photography. They show me that with dedication, authenticity, and hard work, it’s possible to achieve great goals. Every reference I have motivates me to carve out my own space, refine my artistic vision, and grow more and more in the world of photography. The spark in the eyes of those who love what they do is what drives me, and that’s what I try to reflect in every shot.
- Kylie Jenner & POSTER GIRL: A Collaboration That Celebrates Boldness and Confidence
Photo Disclosure KHY Five years after a private request sparked the beginning of a fashion connection, KHY, Kylie Jenner’s brand, joins forces with London-based POSTER GIRL for a latex collection that redefines sensuality and sophistication. Available exclusively at Khy.com , the collaboration is a tribute to curves, confidence, and the ultra-modern aesthetic both brands embody. From Private Request to Fashion Spotlight Photo Disclosure KHY When Natasha Somerville and Francesca Capper, co-founders of POSTER GIRL, received a private order from Kylie Jenner in 2020, they never imagined it would be the starting point for a full-circle moment in fashion. Kylie’s early support for the London-based brand has now evolved into an official collaboration, marked by the launch of the KHY x POSTER GIRL collection—the boldest from KHY yet. Photo Disclosure KHY “I’ve been a huge fan of POSTER GIRL’s bold and empowering designs for years,” says Kylie Jenner, who serves as KHY’s Creative Director and Co-Founder. Photo Disclosure KHY “We put so much passion into every detail, ensuring each piece feels both nostalgic and modern.” Latex Takes Center Stage Photo Disclosure KHY The collection features high-shine latex pieces designed to hug curves and enhance the silhouette. Available in three striking shades—Rouge, Black, and Bone—the designs stay true to POSTER GIRL’s signature aesthetic, incorporating standout details like micro straps and heart-shaped slider adjusters. “…latex is the star of the show, and it’s the perfect blend of sexy and sophisticated,” Kylie emphasizes. POSTER GIRL’s influence is unmistakable: known for its daring, body-conscious designs, the British label has always been a go-to for those who push fashion boundaries. Now, with KHY in the mix, the brand takes its latex obsession to the next level. Building a Brand in a Competitive Market Photo Disclosure KHY For POSTER GIRL, the journey to this point has been anything but easy. In a highly saturated and competitive market, gaining industry recognition hasn’t always been straightforward. “The saturation and competitive nature of the market make it difficult for any brand to stand out,” Somerville and Capper explain. Despite being based in London—one of the world’s fashion capitals—breaking through traditional industry barriers proved challenging, leading them to explore alternative visibility strategies. Photo Disclosure KHY Ultimately, it was this innovative spirit that caught Kylie Jenner’s attention, paving the way for a collaboration that not only strengthens both brands’ identities but also elevates the concept of modern sensuality.
- Hair Transplant: Science, Technology, and Self-Esteem with Dr. Carol Carletti
'HEALTH' COVER EDITION - MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photo: @trumpas_ / Advisory: @duo.strategy Hair transplantation has been a true revolution for those looking to restore their hair and confidence. To better understand the advancements, challenges, and impact of this procedure, we spoke with Dr. Carol Carletti, a specialist in trichology and hair transplantation, who shares her journey and the secrets to achieving natural and long-lasting results. Dr. Carol, how did you become interested in the field of hair transplantation, and what motivated you to specialize in this area? I became interested in the field six years ago when I noticed a thinning area along my hairline. While searching for a treatment, I discovered that hair transplantation was the ideal solution. I underwent the procedure and was amazed by the results! This sparked my passion for the subject and led me to seek specialization. I completed a fellowship in Silicon Valley and deepened my expertise in trichology and hair transplantation. Hair transplantation has become increasingly popular. What are the most common myths and truths you encounter among your patients regarding the procedure? The biggest myth I come across is the belief that hair transplantation is a definitive cure for baldness. In reality, male androgenetic alopecia is a genetic, hereditary, and progressive condition. It has no cure, but it can be stabilized. Hair transplantation is one of the tools to restore hair, but it must always be combined with clinical treatment and hair therapies to ensure long-term maintenance of the results. What is the main difference between the hair transplant methods available on the market, and how can patients determine which one is best for them? Currently, there are two main techniques: FUT and FUE. Today, we primarily use the FUE technique, which is minimally invasive and allows for a quick recovery. Patients can return to work in just three days, and after 10 days, they are cleared for light physical activities. The choice of technique depends on the patient’s individual characteristics, such as the degree of baldness and the density of the donor area. Many people feel insecure or worried about the results of a hair transplant. What would you say to reassure your patients about post-operative care and long-term results? Nowadays, patients can feel confident because, with the FUE technique, we achieve increasingly natural and harmonious results. Post-operative care includes careful scalp hygiene with specific products and avoiding swimming in the ocean or pool for 30 days. In just 10 days, patients can return to their normal routine. In the long term, it’s essential to understand that baldness has a stabilization factor, and the medications and therapies recommended after the procedure are crucial for the success of the treatment. Hair transplantation is not just about aesthetics but also about self-esteem. How do you see the connection between hair restoration and its psychological impact on patients? The connection is huge! Many patients come to the clinic feeling insecure, often wearing hats to hide their baldness. After 12 months of the procedure, they return confident, happy, and proudly showing off their hair. The transformation is not just physical but also emotional. Hair transplantation improves self-esteem, confidence, and even the overall quality of life for patients. What sets you apart in this field? What differentiates me is my commitment to personalizing each case. Every patient is unique, and my goal is to deliver results that respect their hair structure and expectations. Additionally, I stay up to date with the latest techniques to ensure a safe and effective procedure. With technological advancements, the procedure has seen significant improvements. What are the latest innovations that have positively impacted hair transplant results? The most significant innovation today is the Long Hair FUE technique, which allows for transplantation without the need to shave the patient’s head. This has been a game changer, as many patients were hesitant about the procedure due to this requirement. This technique is revolutionizing the market and has already become highly sought after. For those who are starting to consider hair transplantation, what would be your main recommendation for making a conscious and safe decision? My biggest recommendation is: seek out specialized professionals and clinics, research reviews, and look at previous results. Hair transplantation is a surgical procedure and should be performed in appropriate facilities, such as level 2 clinics and hospitals, always with the presence of an anesthesiologist to ensure patient safety. Choosing a qualified professional is essential for achieving a satisfactory and safe result.
- Rachel Grae: The Pop Star Who Turns Vulnerability into Art
‘STARS’ COVER EDITION - GLOBAL ISSUE Photographer: Kirt Barnett @wavykirt / Creative Director: Paige Sara @paigesarastudio / Style: Annie Easton + Nora Foley @annieandnora / Make-up artist: Ali Scharf @ali.scharf / Hair: Steven Mason @stevenmasonlife In a pop landscape filled with big names, Rachel Grae emerges as an authentic force, blending captivating vocal talent with a rare honesty that resonates like an open diary. Gracing the cover of Hooks Magazine ’s special ‘STARS’ edition, the American singer invites us to dive into the raw emotions and stories that have shaped her artistic journey — a path where vulnerability isn’t a weakness but her most powerful signature. Her debut album, Journal No. 1 , is not just a collection of songs; it’s an emotional mirror, reflecting themes like self-acceptance, mental health, and self-love. “Turning personal experiences into songs is incredibly therapeutic but also challenging,” Rachel shares. “Reliving deep emotions can be liberating, and every finished song gives me a new perspective.” The single “If I’ll Ever Win” encapsulates this essence. Inspired by her complicated relationship with her body image, the track is a heartfelt confession about internal struggles and the ongoing journey to self-confidence. “I wish I had a song like this growing up. If even one listener feels less alone after hearing it, then my music has done its job.” Often compared to stars like Olivia Rodrigo , Adele , and Tate McRae , Rachel accepts the parallels with humility but remains true to her identity. “Every artist has their own path, their own pains and triumphs translated into music. I just want to connect with people the way they do.” That connection, however, goes beyond headphones. With her North American tour set for 2025, Rachel promises that her live shows will be more than performances — they’ll be emotional experiences. “It’s like one big group therapy session,” she jokes. “It’s going to be an emotional rollercoaster, full of surprises… but you’ll have to come to a show to find out.” Behind the rising pop artist is a young woman who openly advocates for mental health and body positivity — causes that shape not only her art but also her deep bond with fans. “I want to be a voice that shines a light on tough topics. I’ve struggled with both, and I know so many others who have too. My music is a safe space, whether you want to feel in silence or start a conversation.” For Rachel, vulnerability is her artistic language. “My songs are like ripped-out pages from my journal. I think there’s so much beauty in feeling everything deeply without shame.” This transparency strengthens her bond with her audience, whom she sees as more than just fans. “They feel like family to me. They mean the world.” Rachel Grae Interview: 1. Your debut album, Journal No. 1 , dives into profound themes like body acceptance and self-love. What was the process of turning these personal experiences into songs that resonate with so many people? The process of turning personal experiences into songs is incredibly therapeutic, but it can also be challenging. It’s hard to go back to a time when you felt something so deeply and relive that experience, but it can also be really freeing when you do. I feel like a new person with a fresh perspective every time I finish a song. Especially with body image — after writing “If I’ll Ever Win” and seeing the fans’ responses, I felt heard. I’m proud to help my listeners process their emotions through my music, but seeing their feedback is just as — if not more — healing for me as it is for them. 2. You’ve been compared to artists like Olivia Rodrigo, Adele, and Tate McRae. How do these comparisons influence your career, and how do you define your unique voice in the pop scene? I’m really grateful to be compared to such incredibly talented artists in the industry. I admire so many of them and the impact they’ve made, along with the worlds they’ve built around their art and fanbases. I feel like every artist has their own path and their own thoughts and experiences they share through their music. I’m just trying to connect with people while doing it — the same way they do! 3. Your single “If I’ll Ever Win” carries a powerful message about self-acceptance. What inspired the song, and how do you hope it impacts your listeners? “If I’ll Ever Win” was inspired by the thoughts I’ve had about my body. I’ve had a complicated love/hate relationship with myself for a long time. Confidence has never come easy — and I don’t think it does for anyone. It took growth and learning about who I am to truly build a friendship with myself. I’m still working on that friendship to this day, and I plan to work on it for the rest of my life. Growing up, I wished I had a song I could relate to this deeply. So if just one listener feels less alone after hearing it or finds comfort in knowing others feel the same way, then my music has done what it was meant to do. 4. With your North American tour scheduled for 2025, what can fans expect from your live shows? Are there any surprises or special elements you’re planning for these performances? My fans can expect an emotional rollercoaster hahaha. They’ll feel every emotion from all of my releases so far throughout my set. A big group therapy session, I guess? I can’t wait to meet everyone in person and experience this music together in a big room. There are always surprises at my shows… I guess you’ll have to come to one to find out :) 5. Beyond music, you advocate for mental health and body positivity. How do these causes shape your art and your connection with your growing fanbase? I think the conversation about mental health and body positivity is super important and should never be avoided. I want to be a voice that sheds light on topics I feel deeply about, and these two are perfect examples. I’ve struggled with both at different points in my life, and I know SO many other people who have too. Some are better at acting okay than others, but I want to give people a safe outlet to feel everything — whether that means sitting with their feelings silently or starting a conversation. Either way, I want people to feel comforted knowing others feel the same. 6. You’ve mentioned believing in the power of vulnerability in music. How has this approach shaped your artistic journey and strengthened your bond with your audience? I try to be as vulnerable as possible in my music — I describe it as ripping pages straight from my journal. I think there’s so much beauty in vulnerability and in feeling every emotion deeply without shame. It’s shaped my entire artistic journey… the way I write, what I want to say, how I say it. And my followers are the biggest reason I feel comfortable doing it. I feel like I have such a safe outlet to share my stories. My fans feel more like family to me than “fans” in the traditional sense… they mean the world to me, and I’m so grateful for anyone who’s ever listened to my music.
- Amanda Evelyn: Beauty, Fashion, and Future
‘BRASIL’ COVER EDITION - MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photographer: @ram__levi_ / Make: @gilshahar_makeup Amanda Evelyn is proof that it is possible to follow multiple paths at the same time without losing your essence. Gracing the cover of the special ‘BRASIL’ edition of Hooks Magazine, she brings a story that blends a passion for aesthetics, a love for fashion, and a sharp eye on the future. Almost graduating in Biomedicine, Amanda has always had a special affection for the world of aesthetics. From an early age, this interest led her to venture into the field, but over time, her professional life took other directions. Even without plans to work directly as a biomedical professional, she sees aesthetics as something far beyond appearance — it’s about self-esteem, confidence, and well-being. Another path that emerged unexpectedly was photography. Today, as a commercial model, Amanda discovered that being in front of the camera is a way to express herself, explore different versions of who she is, and be part of creative projects in the fashion world. Each photoshoot is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to tell stories and reinvent herself. Balancing so many passions — from studies to modeling and personal projects — requires organization and flexibility. Amanda believes the key is to always stay open to learning and never fear change. This mindset also led her into the world of investments — a way to ensure financial security and build a solid future without setting aside her other dreams. Check out the exclusive interview with Amanda Evelyn: 1: Amanda, you're close to graduating in Biomedicine, but you've mentioned your long-standing passion for aesthetics, even having run a business in the field. How do you balance these two very different areas, and what made you follow this path? At the moment, I no longer plan to work directly in Biomedicine, as life has taken a different turn, but I will complete my internships for all the time and investment I've dedicated so far. 2: You've always had a fondness for the world of aesthetics. What fascinates you the most about this universe, and how has it impacted your personal and professional life? What fascinates me the most is its ability to transform people's lives, not just the external appearance, but also self-esteem and confidence. Aesthetics is deeply connected to self-care, and I am completely in love with everything that involves this universe. This passion has positively impacted my life, constantly driving me to seek more knowledge and teaching me the importance of feeling good about myself. Professionally, this love has led me to explore different paths within this universe and challenge myself in new ways. 3: You mentioned that you considered pursuing a postgraduate degree to work in the field. Does that still fit into your plans, or have you discovered other passions along the way? Although I considered a postgraduate degree in the field of aesthetics, over time I realized that my interests took a different direction. Today, I no longer plan to pursue further studies in this specific field, as life has brought me new opportunities. The passion hasn't disappeared; it has just taken a different path, with new interests and approaches. 4: Photography came into your life unexpectedly, but now it's something you love to do. What is it about working as a commercial model that captivated you? Photography came into my life unexpectedly, but over time, I realized how much I enjoy it. Working as a commercial model allows me to express my creativity and connect with different forms of art. The experience of being in front of the camera allows me to reinvent myself and explore different aspects of my personality, which is incredibly rewarding. It's a unique way to share my worldview and be part of something bigger, like a campaign or a fashion project. 5: With so many different passions and interests, how do you manage to balance your professional life, studies, and career as a model? What motivates you to keep going? I believe the key to balancing all my passions and projects is always being open to learning and adapting. I have a mindset of being a lifelong learner, and that helps me not fear change and stay alert to the opportunities that arise. My motivation comes from seeing how much I can grow, both personally and professionally. I’m happy to look back and see how much I’ve evolved, knowing that I’m moving toward something that fulfills me in various areas. 6: You also mentioned investments. How did this area come into your life, and how do you manage to stay balanced without letting it distract you from your other projects? I’ve always dreamed of investing and achieving stable returns. Investments came into my life as a way to reach financial security, and since I started, I’ve been diving deeper into the subject. I manage to balance investments with my other projects because I’ve learned time management and the importance of focusing on what truly matters. Investments are an important pillar for my future. I believe all these projects complement each other and help me reach my goal of stability and personal growth.
- Dr. Mayara Cezario reveals the secrets of Nutritional Psychiatry in combating obesity
Doctor, psychiatry specialist, postgraduate in Nutrology, and with extensive experience in treating obesity, explains how this discovery has been transforming people's lives. Photography: Carolina França Did you know that the way your thoughts are directed can have an impact on your body? Physical and mental health are directly connected. Often, people fall into the endless yo-yo effect because they neglect something essential: the mind. The way you think, act, and feel influences both weight gain and loss. “The old weight loss method, focused solely on highly restrictive diets and strenuous physical exercise, does not promote healthy and lasting weight loss,” explains Dr. Mayara Cezario, psychiatrist at the Center for Assistance and Research in Eating Disorders at UERJ (State University of Rio de Janeiro). Sleep quality, gut health, and how someone relates to others can all affect the weight loss process. Nutritional and lifestyle psychiatry has become a powerful tool to help those seeking both a healthy mind and body. Nutritional psychiatry is not yet recognized as a medical specialty, but it has become a standout approach by integrating physical and mental health. Through this field, individualized plans are created to restore both the patient's physical and mental well-being. “It’s about seeing the human being as a whole, without limiting them to just the physical or mental aspects,” says Dr. Mayara Cezario, a psychiatrist with an extensive career and recipient of the Female Personality Award, The Health Awards, and the European Quality Award — all received in 2024. Just as mental health resonates in physical changes, the body's health directly impacts mental well-being. A diet with fewer packaged foods and more natural, whole ingredients can significantly help manage anxiety, for example. In other words, the less processed foods you consume and the more fruits, vegetables, and greens you include, the result will be a healthier diet and a calmer mind. “Combining a personalized lifestyle plan with the correct prescriptions for supplements and medications, when necessary, leads to effective treatment of both obesity and mental disorders,” concludes Dr. Mayara Cezario.
- The End of an Era: Donatella Versace Steps Down as Versace’s Creative Director After 28 Years
Photo by Pascal Le Segretain A golden era has come to an end. Donatella Versace — the name and face that kept the Versace flame alive for nearly three decades — has announced her departure as the brand’s creative director. The designer, who took the reins in 1997 after the tragic assassination of her brother, Gianni Versace, left an indelible mark on fashion with her unmistakable signature — a fusion of bold glamour, exuberant sensuality, and references to classic Italian opulence. At 69, Donatella is stepping away from the sketchbooks but not from the brand entirely. Her new role will be that of Versace’s chief ambassador, a strategic position that maintains her connection to the house’s legacy, now with a more institutional focus. “Championing the next generation of designers has always been important to me,” Donatella said with emotion. “I’m thrilled that Dario Vitale will be joining us and excited to see Versace through fresh eyes.” The name succeeding Donatella carries immense weight. Dario Vitale, former design director at Miu Miu, takes on the challenge of continuing Versace’s bold DNA while infusing it with his own creative vision. Known for his youthful, sophisticated approach and his talent for reinterpreting luxury in a modern way, Vitale brings a breath of fresh air to the Italian house. ”It has been the greatest honor of my life to carry on my brother Gianni's legacy. He was the true genius, but I hope I have some of his spirit and tenacity”, Said Donatella. Donatella Versace at the brand's 2018 summer fashion show - Photo: getty Images However, this announcement doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It comes amid intense rumors that the Prada Group is on the verge of acquiring Versace from Capri Holdings — a deal reportedly valued at an impressive $1.5 billion. Although the parties involved have not confirmed the negotiations, the possibility of Versace joining Prada’s portfolio underscores the ongoing movement of major fashion houses striving to further consolidate their power within the global fashion industry. Check out the exclusive interview now: 1: Livia, how do you combine the power of your influence on social media with managing your brand, Use Livia Rafaelle? I believe I turned lemons into lemonade! I was already working with stores and sales as a photographic model. I started to realize how powerful my influence was just by recommending products, and I thought: why not have my own brand or store? 2: Have you always dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur, or was this a step that naturally evolved as your influence grew? I’ve always had this dream, but I didn’t think about it much until a friend came along and gave me the idea — that was the turning point. It was the best thing I ever did! Now, I make money even while I sleep and doing what I love. 3: In December, your store made over one million in revenue. Can you share some of the challenges and strategies that helped you reach this unprecedented milestone? It’s a number I never imagined reaching in just one year of having my store — honestly, not even in my wildest dreams did I think I’d experience this. We faced several setbacks and, if it weren’t for those issues, including technical problems with the system, we would have earned even more. But consistency leads to results — in any area. It’s that daily dedication that makes people desire our products. And, of course, December is a great month for sales. 4: Was the transition from influencer to entrepreneur challenging? What skills did you learn from social media that helped you stand out in the business world? I'm constantly evolving, and I believe my daily life inspires many girls — this makes them want to wear my products. Every day, I strive to be better and to reinforce the value of my store. 5: What are the main pillars of your brand, Use Livia Rafaelle, that make it so appealing to your followers and customers? Consistency — showing my pieces every day sparks interest. The "trendy factor" — I always pick up on what’s hot in our space. And most importantly: wearing the pieces myself. It’s amazing how, even if an item has been sitting in stock, the moment I wear it, the girls go crazy. 6: How do you see the future of your brand and the role of influencers in business growth, especially with the success you’ve achieved so far? I hope my brand grows more and more each day. I want to become a new Boca Rosa, Virgínia, or maybe even a Kylie Jenner — both national and global references. Only God knows the future, but I’m working hard and planting the seeds to reap great rewards.
- Micaela Souza: The Power Behind the Beauty
'BEAUTY' COVER EDITION - MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photography and studio: Jean Yoshii - @jeanyoshii / Production: @dzerofotografias / Designer: @vx.marlon / Makeup and hair: @veronicanerimakeup / Nails: @hera_studioteresopolis Micaela Souza graces the cover of the 'BEAUTY' edition of Hooks Magazine, sharing her inspiring story and impactful contributions to the beauty industry. An entrepreneur, women's mentor, and digital influencer, Micaela blends knowledge, purpose, and innovation into every step she takes. With a degree in Marketing, a postgraduate degree in Advertising and a specialization in Leadership from Harvard, she has built a solid career over 10 years, helping businesses grow in the digital world. However, her journey took an even more personal and powerful turn when she faced one of the biggest challenges of her life: a melanoma diagnosis. After two surgeries, Micaela experienced severe hair loss — a change that affected not only her appearance but also her self-esteem. It was during this time that she decided to revive an old project — the development of a hair vitamin. An idea born during her Biomedicine studies finally came to life. The unique factor in Micaela's formula lies in the blend of modern science and ancestral wisdom. One of the key ingredients was discovered in London, derived from a rare plant with roots in Ancient Egypt — it is believed that even Cleopatra used this active element in her beauty rituals. Determined to offer something truly special, she brought this innovation to Brazil, creating a product that strengthens hair, combats aging, and restores its vitality. But Micaela's impact goes far beyond the beauty industry. As a mentor, she empowers women in Brazil and Europe, helping them build confidence, gain recognition in their niches, and achieve financial independence. Her work extends beyond business strategies — it's about building self-esteem, overcoming obstacles, and believing in one's potential. Balancing so many roles — entrepreneur, mentor, digital influencer, and single mother — is no easy feat, but Micaela embraces each one as part of her purpose. For her, the secret lies in living with intention, being fully present in every moment, and staying true to what she believes. Her journey is proof that it’s possible to transform pain into strength, challenges into opportunities, and dreams into reality. Check out her interview with Hooks Magazine: 1: After being diagnosed with melanoma and facing challenges related to hair loss, what motivated you to develop a hair vitamin that combines science and tradition? After being diagnosed with melanoma and facing challenges related to hair loss, my world was turned upside down. The emotional impact was profound, especially because, for me, appearance had always been a way to express my confidence and well-being. Seeing my hair weaken was a tough blow, not only physically but psychologically. I knew I couldn’t just passively accept it; there was something more I could do. That’s when I revived a project I had started back in college, something I had always dreamed of but had taken a backseat due to life’s demands. I decided, with all my strength, that not only would I create something for my own recovery, but that it could also help other women going through the same pain. I wanted to bring something that combined the most advanced science with the ancient wisdom that we’ve always believed has the power to heal. My own journey of overcoming challenges drove me to develop this hair vitamin—a solution that was more than just a product, but a true tool of transformation for myself and many other women. It was born from my own healing process, reclaiming my self-esteem, and realizing that we can be stronger than any challenge. 2: How did your experience of over 10 years helping companies stand out in the digital space influence the development of your innovative hair product? My experience of over 10 years helping companies stand out in the digital space was crucial to the development of my innovative hair product. In the digital world, I’ve always been driven by the pursuit of innovative solutions, by the need to understand what truly connects people and solves their problems effectively. This directly reflected in the process of creating the hair vitamin. I already knew how to identify a real demand, how to build a product that wasn’t just another one on the market, but one with a unique proposition and genuine added value. It was this mindset of innovation, deep research, and focus on results that guided me during the product development. I didn’t want to just create something beautiful or trendy; I wanted something that truly made a difference in people’s lives. Furthermore, my experience in understanding the audience’s needs and how to communicate these solutions clearly and empathetically also helped create a formula that truly addressed a real demand. I wanted the customer experience to be flawless, from the first contact to using the product. This made the development process not only technical but also emotional, because I knew I was creating something that would make a difference in women’s lives, just as it did in mine. 3: Could you share more details about the active ingredient found in London, with roots in Ancient Egypt, that you incorporated into your hair formula? During a trip to Dubai, I discovered a hair vitamin that delivered such rapid and impressive results that I became obsessed with uncovering what was behind its formula. Upon investigation, I learned that one of the main ingredients came from a rare plant, with roots in Ancient Egypt, believed to have been used even by Cleopatra in her beauty rituals. This plant not only strengthens the hair but also has powerful antioxidant effects that slow the appearance of gray hair and promote deep, lasting hair health. My curiosity led me further, and after much research, I found that in London, scholars were developing innovative products derived from this ancient plant. I was fascinated and immediately contacted these experts, eager to understand how I could integrate this unique active ingredient into my own formula. After months of development, I decided to travel to London to see the process firsthand and ensure everything was perfect. It was at that moment that the real revolution happened. When I incorporated this active ingredient into my formula, the results went beyond what I expected—much more effective than any hair vitamin I had ever tried. The transformation was so quick and evident that I knew I was dealing with something much bigger than just a beauty product. This combination of ancient Egyptian wisdom with modern science became the key to truly effective hair care. And with this purpose in mind, I decided to bring this innovative formula to Brazil, so all women could experience this true hair revolution. 4: How has your academic background in Marketing, Advertising, and Propaganda, combined with your Leadership specialization from Harvard, contributed to your success as a mentor for women entrepreneurs? My background in Marketing and Advertising gave me the essential tools to understand the power of communication and strategy, but what truly transformed me was the Leadership specialization from Harvard. It was there that I learned that leadership is not just about making decisions; it’s about inspiring and empowering others to believe in their own potential. True leadership lies in showing people that they have the power to go beyond, to overcome limits, and to achieve what once seemed impossible. These learnings not only helped me build successful businesses but also gave me the vision of how I could impact the lives of women entrepreneurs. My mission, as a mentor, is exactly that: to show them that, with the right mindset and the right strategy, they are capable of conquering the world. I don’t just want them to follow a path to success; I want them to feel secure, confident, and in control of their own journey, without fear of standing out and making history. When I look at each woman I mentor, I see immense potential. And that’s what drives me every day: to help these women discover themselves, believe in their strength, and achieve a stronger and more fulfilled version of themselves. That is what inspires me and, without a doubt, what has led me to success as a mentor. 5: What are the main challenges that women face when entrepreneuring in Brazil and Europe, and how do you help them overcome these barriers? Women, both in Brazil and Europe, face challenges such as lack of confidence, prejudice in the job market, and difficulty balancing professional life with personal responsibilities. Often, they feel overwhelmed and undervalued, which can hinder their growth and success. As a mentor, my focus is on helping these women overcome these barriers, starting with strengthening their self-esteem and confidence. Teaching them how to position themselves with authority and build a solid brand is essential for them to feel secure and recognized in the market. Additionally, I create a supportive space among the mentees, where they can share experiences and strengthen one another. I believe that when we work on the mindset and provide the right tools, women become powerful leaders, able to turn challenges into opportunities and achieve the success they deserve. 6: How do you balance your multiple roles as a businesswoman, mentor, digital influencer, and mother, ensuring that each one receives the attention and dedication it requires? Balancing so many roles may seem challenging, but the truth is, each one is an essential part of who I am. I approach my work as a businesswoman, mentor, digital influencer, and mother as a mission that aligns with my purpose of impacting the lives of many people, especially women. I don’t see these roles as burdens, but as an opportunity to live fully and aligned with what I believe in. As a mother, I’m driven by the responsibility to be an example of strength, dedication, and transformation for my child. I know he is observing everything I do, so I strive to be an inspiration to him. Balance often comes from good organization and allowing myself to live quality moments with him, even on the busiest days. Being a businesswoman and mentor is a passion that fills me and allows me to help women achieve their own dreams. I see my mentees as partners and dedicate myself deeply to each one, knowing that by helping them grow, I’m creating a network of transformation and empowerment. Technology and organization are great allies in balancing commitments and ensuring that I’m present in all my roles. As a digital influencer, I connect with a wonderful audience that inspires me every day, and this connection fuels my journey. Each post, each interaction, is an opportunity to positively impact someone’s life. The secret to balancing all of this lies in being fully present where I am, at the right moment. I live with intensity and purpose, knowing that my work and personal life complement each other. The key is the love for what I do and the commitment to my purpose: impacting lives and inspiring women to become the best versions of themselves. This keeps me motivated and gives me the strength to move forward with passion and dedication in every area of my life. 7: Being a single mother requires extraordinary strength to keep going, especially in the face of daily challenges. What keeps you motivated and strong, and how has this experience shaped your journey as an entrepreneur and mentor? Being a single mother transformed me in ways I never imagined. When I found myself alone, with the responsibility of raising my child and still fighting for my dreams, it felt like everything was crumbling. I felt as though I was in ashes, as if I no longer had the strength to go on. But it was precisely in this moment of despair that I was reborn. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, I found within myself a strength I never knew I had. Every difficulty, every sleepless night, every tear I shed made me stronger. I learned to reinvent myself, to rise even when it seemed like there was nothing left. My child, with his smile and trusting eyes, was my fuel. I knew I couldn’t fail him. And it was this love, this unwavering strength of wanting to be the best version of myself for him, that kept me going. I became my own phoenix, rising with every challenge and turning each pain into a lesson. Gradually, I realized that my story wasn’t just about overcoming adversity; it was about transforming into something stronger, more inspiring, and more determined. What seemed like the end was actually just the beginning of a journey of rebirth. Now, with more courage than ever, I continue my mission of helping other women rise, showing them that no matter how life knocks us down, we always have the ability to be reborn, stronger and brighter than ever. Official product launch later this week.
