Released in early September, the mixtape has been a massive success, amassing over half a million streams on its debut day. Originally inspired by the challenges Nova faced in the music industry, the song evolved into an anthem of self-confidence and perseverance—recurring themes in her music. Alongside CRYING ON THE DANCEFLOOR , other tracks from the mixtape, such as DJ MY RELIGION and MR BUS DRIVER , are making waves in playlists and clubs. DJ MY RELIGION quickly became a fan favorite with its powerful chorus, while MR BUS DRIVER offers a nostalgic, fun narrative that captivates listeners with its light-hearted vibe and infectious beats. These songs not only dominate parties but also deeply connect with the audience, offering both escapism and empowerment. The success of I AM THE CLUB marks just the beginning for Nova. Her sold-out show, CLUB NOVA , in London was a major milestone, with fans traveling from different countries to witness her live performance. The energy on stage, combined with the overwhelming support from her fanbase, the “Super Novas,” demonstrated her rapid rise as a pop sensation. With the mixtape still making waves, Nova is already preparing for the next step. She’s currently working on her Next Project, teasing new surprises while staying true to the unique essence that has made her a rising star. Nova May is undoubtedly an artist on the rise, set to continue lighting up dance floors and inspiring fans around the world with her unmistakable style and messages of resilience and strength. Check out the exclusive interview with the singer: 1. Your new mixtape, ‘I AM THE CLUB,’ has already gained incredible momentum since its release. What inspired the concept behind this project, and how did you approach blending recession pop with your own modern twist? Thanks! I’m honestly so happy that this project has connected with people who truly love it—there’s no better feeling as an artist. The concept behind 'I AM THE CLUB' was inspired by the music I grew up with. I was obsessed with pop stars and found a lot of escapism in recession pop back then. I wanted to revive that same feeling with this mixtape, but with my own touch. ‘I AM THE CLUB’ represents a lot for me—it’s about not giving up, standing up for yourself, and just letting loose and having fun. It’s a little window into the dream world I created for myself when I needed to escape, and I hope it brings that same sense of happiness to others. More than anything, I want it to remind people that they ARE that bitch and they CAN do anything they set their minds to, no matter what. 2. ‘CRYING ON THE DANCEFLOOR’ has resonated deeply with fans. Can you tell us the story behind this track and what message you hope it conveys to listeners? For sure. It’s funny because this track actually started with a completely different meaning and concept. It was originally called ‘CRYING IN TORONTO’ and was about the rejection I was facing from the music industry last year. But then I re-wrote the lyrics with my friend Tilsen to make it more about self-belief and never giving up, because that’s how I truly feel. No matter what life or the music industry throws at me, I know I’ll keep doing my thing. There’s even a little sound clip of me as a 2-year-old at the end singing then saying ‘one more time,’ as a reminder that I’ll keep trying over and over until something works! It’s still quite emotional vibes really, gets me every time when I hear baby me singing bc I’m like damn…. i’m doing this for her… you know? I really hope this song inspires people to never give up on their dreams and always keep believing in themselves. 3. Your fanbase, the ‘Super Novas,’ is growing rapidly. How does it feel to have such a passionate following, and how do your fans inspire your music and performances? It feels unreal. Their excitement just makes me want to work even harder and make my music & branding even sicker. It’s honestly great knowing that there’s people eagerly waiting to hear my new tunes. Their energy really inspires me to keep levelling up, and I know they’re going to love the new stuff I’m working on right now! 4. Selling out your headline show ‘CLUB NOVA’ at 229 was a huge milestone! How was the experience of performing live in front of such an enthusiastic crowd, and how do you prepare for a performance like that? It was mental. It’s such growth since my last headline show in 2022 where it was mainly family and friends who came! Lol. This time, people were literally queuing up 5 hours before to make sure they got front row, and some even traveled from really far, like all the way from Belgium and Scotland, just to see me play! I’ve never had that before and it was the sickest feeling ever. Made me sososo happy when the crowd sung my songs back to me too. I felt so lucky to have such a supportive fanbase who gave me AND my support acts the best energy. It’s a night I’ll never forget.  5. You mentioned that you’re halfway through creating your new project. Can you give us any hints about what fans can expect? Will it carry a similar energy to your mixtape, or can we expect new surprises? Expect the most iconic vibes you’ve ever heard. Definitely some new surprises in the mix. 6. With your unique blend of rap and euphoric vocals, you’ve carved out a distinctive sound. Who or what are some of your biggest influences, and how do they shape your music? I learnt to riff from queen Christina Aguilera so she was a big influence to me vocally when I was a kid. Same with Whitney Houston. Over the last few years I’ve been really inspired by Lady Gaga, Kesha, Rihanna, Cobrah, Will.i.am and more. I really feel like I’ve found my own sound now so my producer and I just catch the vibes from whatever is inspiring us at the time, whether it’s visually or sonically, and do our own thing!

  • The Global Influencer who Faced Depression and Now Finds Balance on the Cover of Hooks Magazine

‘ARABIA’ COVER EDITION - OCTOBER 24 ISSUE Photos: Lamya Abdullah - @lamyaphotographer Beauty: @neda.makeup / @asmma_makeup1 Director Design Hooks: @mathlopes Editor-In-Chief: @directorhooks The 'ARABIA' edition of Hooks Magazine features Yasmin Miranda as its latest cover star, an international model and influencer who has captivated the fashion world with her authentic and inspiring journey. Her career began eight years ago with the creation of a fashion tips blog, and Yasmin has always viewed fashion as more than just an aesthetic choice: to her, it is a form of expression, an intimate connection between generations and cultures. It is this vision that propelled her to stand out on a global scale. However, Yasmin’s path wasn’t always lined with success. The pressure of being a rising influencer brought profound personal challenges, leading her to face a critical moment in her life. As her online career rapidly grew, Yasmin found herself immersed in a constant work rhythm, where the expectation to always be present and flawless on social media became overwhelming. This imbalance led her into a battle with depression, and she made the decision to completely step away from the internet for a year. That time away from the digital world was transformative. Yasmin found refuge in silence, away from the spotlight, where she could focus on her mental, physical, and spiritual health. “Taking care of the soul, the body, and the spirit” became her mantra. By disconnecting from the virtual world, Yasmin rediscovered real life—the one that doesn't depend on follower counts or likes, but on authentic moments and genuine relationships. This period allowed her to reconnect with her essence and regain the balance that now guides her life. Returning to social media, Yasmin came back stronger and with a fresh perspective on what success truly means. She now values genuine connection with her audience, understanding that being an influencer goes far beyond aesthetic standards. Her time away also made her realize the importance of deconstructing old beauty standards—something she actively promotes in her career, showing that being an influencer is not about fitting into a mold, but about being authentic. Today, Yasmin maintains a carefully planned routine that helps her balance both her professional and personal life. Planning, according to her, is essential in preventing the chaos of travel and professional commitments from affecting her well-being. This balance reflects not only in her personal life but also in her style, inspired by her travels around the world. Among her favorite destinations, New York and Riyadh hold a special place in her heart. The vibrant energy of NYC and the rich Arab culture of Riyadh directly influence her fashion choices, blending traditional elements with modern touches. For Yasmin, success in an influencer career is not just about aesthetics or online presence, but about a genuine connection with people and, above all, with herself. Her advice for those who wish to follow in her footsteps is simple yet powerful: it requires study, dedication, and, most importantly, authenticity. She believes that the beauty of social media lies in the possibility of deconstruction—of standards, preconceived ideas, and unattainable expectations. Check out the exclusive interview: 1: How did you start your career in the fashion world, and what inspired you to pursue this path? I started 8 years ago with a blog about fashion tips. Fashion is a form of expression and stirs people's emotions. For this reason, it reflects different eras and generations. Every day, when people dress, even if it's not a fully conscious process, they show a bit of themselves. That’s why I chose this path. 2: What are the most significant challenges you've faced working as an international model and influencer? I've faced many challenges working abroad. Professionals get the chance to sharpen their adaptive skills, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, living in a multicultural environment fosters the expansion of emotional intelligence. 3: With so many travels and commitments, how do you maintain balance between your professional and personal life? One of the best ways to keep professional life separate from personal life is by planning your routine and sticking to it strictly. Planning is everything. 4: Do you have any self-care routines or practices that help you stay confident and healthy in your daily life? Yes, I do, especially because I had depression and stepped away from the internet for a year to take care of myself and find my balance again. I believe we should always take care of the soul, body, and spirit. 🙏🏻 5: What are your favorite destinations around the world, and how do they influence your style and fashion choices? There are so many places, but my favorites are NYC and Riyadh. I love Arab culture and find the fashion there incredible. 6: What advice would you give to someone dreaming of building a career as a global model and influencer? Like any other profession, it requires study and dedication. You don't just need to be beautiful, and you no longer have to fit into a certain mold to be an influencer. Thankfully, that's being deconstructed. It's important to learn how to connect with your audience and build a genuine relationship with them.

  • Dr. Ary Guimarães: The Challenges and Responsibilities of a Plastic Surgeon

Photos Disclosure Press - In the world of aesthetics, plastic surgery has emerged as one of the most sought-after fields in medicine. Each procedure, however, goes far beyond a simple visual transformation — it involves extensive care, meticulous preparation, and a relationship of trust between doctor and patient. Dr. Ary Guimarães, a renowned plastic surgeon, shared his journey and the nuances of the specialty he chose to pursue in an exclusive interview. Dr. Ary's passion for plastic surgery began early, influenced by his father, who was also a surgeon. After graduating in Medicine from Unicastelo in Fernandópolis, he pursued general surgery at Beneficência Portuguesa in São Paulo, where he was deeply involved in liver transplants. However, it was the transformative power of plastic surgery that won him over. "The magic of transforming lives captivated me," recalls the doctor when talking about his career choice. However, the routine of a plastic surgeon is anything but easy. In addition to managing patients' high expectations, Dr. Ary emphasizes the constant need to stay updated on new techniques and technologies. Patient safety is his primary concern, as plastic surgeries are elective procedures performed on healthy individuals. This makes close post-operative follow-up and attention to potential complications essential. Another key aspect for Dr. Ary is balancing the demand for aesthetics with ethical responsibility. He always makes sure to guide his patients about realistic expectations, ensuring that all stages are clearly and precisely explained. This includes providing informative consent forms and having a well-trained team that supports patients from start to finish. Proper patient preparation is one of the pillars of any successful plastic surgery. Dr. Ary explains that, in addition to the technical side, the patient’s commitment to following all guidelines is crucial for positive results. This includes everything from pre-op care to the recovery period, which demands essential precautions to avoid complications. Among the most common procedures performed by Dr. Ary are body surgeries and breast augmentations, along with facial surgeries and rhinoplasties. He prides himself on treating patients with realistic expectations, which he believes is a result of honest communication and word-of-mouth from satisfied clients. With years of experience, Dr. Ary continues his quest for professional growth. He actively participates in conferences and training events, citing important milestones in his career, such as the “Plastic on Board” event and the “Next Level Body&ART” course in Belo Horizonte, where he had the opportunity to explore modern body contouring techniques. For him, the success of plastic surgery depends directly on the relationship between the doctor and the patient. Maintaining this connection is essential for the patient to feel secure throughout all stages of the process. Dr. Ary highlights the importance of always being available to answer questions and provide clear guidance. Not every procedure, however, is recommended. Dr. Ary reveals that he conducts thorough evaluations to ensure the viability of each surgery, considering factors such as high BMI or body dysmorphia, which can limit results. In some cases, he advises against the procedure altogether, always prioritizing the patient’s health. The future of plastic surgery, according to Dr. Ary, is promising. With new technologies and techniques emerging each year, he believes that the field will continue to evolve. However, it’s impossible to predict just how far these advancements will take us, but the expectation is that significant transformations are still to come. Lastly, Dr. Ary emphasizes the importance of post-operative care and maintaining healthy habits to preserve the results of any surgery. He reminds patients that proper use of compression garments, a balanced diet, and careful attention to scars are crucial factors for a smooth and effective recovery.

The firm and secure posture she developed as a model reflects in her interactions with clients and partners in the real estate industry. For her, trusting herself is key to conveying credibility and achieving success in any field. Now, check out our exclusive interview with the model: 1: You’ve always been involved in the fashion world. When did you realize you also wanted to explore the real estate market? I’ve always liked the idea of buying properties and turning them into fixed income. Since I was young, I’ve watched my father invest in real estate, and it’s an area that has always attracted me. I’ve also met many friends in this field who motivated me even more. 2: What are the biggest challenges you’ve encountered in balancing your modeling career in London with working in real estate? My work as a model takes up a lot of my time, while my work in real estate is more stable and doesn’t require as much attention, as it’s profitable on its own. So, it’s not too difficult to balance both—I enjoy investing in both areas. 3: Your Instagram profile shows a lot of your personal and professional life. How is it to share your life with your followers? Is there a line you prefer not to cross? Honestly, I share my life with my followers. Of course, there are days when I post more, and other days when I post less, but I’m always there. They love seeing my personal life, especially when it comes to my family and my funny routine at my parents' house. I feel comfortable sharing everything with them—my modeling work and my day-to-day life. 4: How has living and working in London influenced your modeling career and now in real estate? What does this city represent to you professionally? A large part of my work started in São Paulo, and now here in London, I feel at home. For me, both cities are about business, where fashion exists along with everything I love, and I can invest in all sectors. I’m still getting to know London, but I can already see that many of my projects can take shape here—in fact, they already are. 5: Do you believe that confidence in front of the camera, for example, can influence how you deal with clients? Yes, confidence is everything. You need to believe in yourself; if you don’t, how can someone else believe in you? How can you convey credibility? My confidence in front of the camera and in real estate is the same, and because of that, I believe things are going well. First of all, thanks to God, of course. 6: Do you have new projects or goals you would like to achieve in both areas? I’m happy with my performance and just want to thank God for my achievements. I hope to continue advancing not only in the fashion world but also in real estate. My goals remain the same; I simply want to increase my workflow and always improve it. When you deliver quality work, good returns always come.

  • Lacoste Spring-Summer 2025: Athletic Style and Seaside Sophistication

Lacoste presents the Spring-Summer 2025 collection, paying tribute to the leisure moments of René Lacoste, the brand’s founder, celebrating freedom and modern French elegance. Photos Courtesy LACOSTE Lacoste’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection celebrates the sensation of freedom and lightness, inspired by founder René Lacoste’s moments of relaxation. Tall, tanned, and athletic, the tennis champion appears in archival photos lounging with friends on a beach in southwestern France. The contagious atmosphere portrays an authentic lifestyle off the courts, filled with laughter and sporty seaside getaways. The joy and carefree spirit of the 1920s resonate even more in a world yearning for optimism and true liberation. For Pelagia Kolotouros, creative director, and Lacoste’s design team, these images sparked a new wave of inspiration. The result is a collection that pays homage to the brand’s athletic heritage while highlighting modern French elegance and how it manifests in everyday life. Light, airy silhouettes project a radiant energy, tempered with sensual fluidity, laid-back ease, and playful transparency. The show’s setting, a 1920s building, evokes the era that inspired the collection, alongside an immersive illustration of lush greenery and the sea in the background, bathed in natural light. At the center, a monumental net sculpture pays tribute to one of tennis’s most recognized icons, created by British artist Susie MacMurray. Skillfully balancing formal and casual, sport and leisure, the versatile wardrobe transitions from clay courts to the beach and on to summer parties, complete with racket bags. Sensual, feminine, and sporty silhouettes feature pleats, cutouts, and lingerie-inspired details, while the men’s sportswear, sleek and effortless, incorporates the founder’s signature blazer, now a staple piece with soft shoulders and paired with high-performance shorts. Modern interpretations of Lacoste’s 1920s and 1930s swimwear and beach attire reveal subtle flashes of skin, while athletic V-necklines add a seductive touch to both dresses and polos. By exploring paradigms and how they evolve over time, Pelagia Kolotouros continues to revisit Lacoste’s celebrated logo, reinterpreting the crocodile in artistic ways, while maintaining unique elements like bones, teeth, or eyes in jewelry pieces. Tactile expressions—such as bouclé jacquard, lace details over delicate knits, or enlarged prints that verge on abstraction—contrast with micro motifs on fluid summer shirts, silky pajamas, and high-tech tracksuits. Kolotouros also returns to the brand’s roots to present neo-tennis looks. The iconic polo, now transformed into a T-shirt, evening dress, or tennis skirt, receives archival references like tennis balls and rackets, alongside prints created by René Lacoste’s close friend, artist Robert George, who designed the original crocodile. An abundance of pleats pays tribute to another of Lacoste’s great friends, tennis champion Suzanne Lenglen, bringing fluidity and movement to body-hugging cuts. Textures and finishes bring vibrancy and depth, from bouclés and shiny satin evoking the shimmer of the ocean, to lace embroidery and silicone finishes designed for performance. The color palette is dominated by neutral tones, ranging from bronzes to deep espresso, creating a neutral base to play with bold, luminous hues. Yellow and green interact with new versions of Lacoste’s signature colors, spanning from almond to vibrant grassy green—a burst of energy for a youthful, vibrant, and sun-kissed mood.

Babi, a professional who goes far beyond the visual, believes her mission is to help women connect with their own beauty and gain confidence through personalized and effective image consulting. With a keen eye for trends and deep knowledge of personal color analysis, Babi is passionate about transforming her clients' lives. For her, image consulting isn’t just about what you wear, but how each piece can reflect and enhance the essence of the person wearing it. Babi emphasizes the importance of self-awareness and creating a style strategy that works for everyday life, respecting each client’s individuality and lifestyle. Always seeking innovation, Babi stays up-to-date with international trends, closely following the major fashion week shows and continually seeking new sources of inspiration—like the trend course she plans to take in Milan, the fashion capital of the world. Her commitment to offering the best for her clients has made her a standout in the image consulting market. Throughout her career, Babi has faced challenges that have strengthened her passion for her work. One of the biggest obstacles? Helping clients who, despite seeking transformation, struggle to implement the necessary changes in their routines. Nonetheless, Babi believes that with dedication and commitment, anyone can achieve a more authentic and confident version of themselves. With the growing influence of social media, many women seek an image that is both authentic and impactful. Babi explains that the key to achieving this lies in self-awareness: understanding what you want to convey and aligning that with how you dress. For her, fashion and behavior go hand in hand, and one’s posture should evolve alongside their visual transformation. Check out the exclusive interview: 1. Image consulting goes beyond appearance, impacting self-confidence as well. How do you perceive this transformation in your clients, and what inspires you the most in this process? What inspires me the most is my desire to transform my clients’ image, helping them feel more beautiful and teaching them how to enhance their own beauty through image strategy and personal color analysis. 2. Fashion and style are constantly evolving. How do you keep your work up to date, and what’s the biggest trend you see emerging in the coming years? I always follow international fashion bloggers and influencers, as well as fashion week shows. I also plan to travel to Milan to take a trend course. Milan is the fashion capital, and I believe I’ll come back with an enriching experience. 3. Each person has a unique relationship with their own image. What has been the most challenging case you've faced, and how did you help your client rediscover their confidence? The most challenging cases occur when a client seeks image consulting but doesn’t commit to fully engaging in the process. In these situations, there’s little the professional can do. The client ends up not achieving satisfying results, and as consultants, we also feel frustrated. 4. With the rise of social media, many people aim to create an authentic and impactful image. What tips would you give to someone looking to express their essence through style? The first step is for the client to truly know themselves. I also need to be fully aware of what they want to convey so we can define a strategy together to reach their goal. It’s essential to understand which style will dominate their daily life—whether it’s work outfits, leisure looks, or something else. Knowing the client’s lifestyle is key to developing a successful strategy. 5. Image consulting involves both the aesthetic and behavioral aspects. How do you guide your clients to align their posture and attitude with their new visual image? Based on each client’s desired image, they need to understand that when dressing in a more formal and sophisticated manner, their verbal posture must also align to create a cohesive image. The combination of style and behavior is key to achieving a polished result. 6. What motivated you to pursue a career in image consulting, and how do you see the importance of this work in both the personal and professional lives of those who seek it? What motivated me to become an image consultant was the desire to learn how to dress better and also to help transform other women’s lives. I’ve always had friends asking me for outfit advice, and that led me to pursue consulting as a way to work with what I love while helping women feel more beautiful and boost their self-esteem through a personalized style. In addition, I bring this expertise to my project, Sant, where my knowledge as a consultant will contribute significantly to the store’s growth.

  • Chloé | Paris | Summer 2025: Chemena Kamali Revives the Boho Chic Spirit

Photos Disclosure Chloé - Launchmetrics Spotlight Chemena Kamali has already proven herself as a designer who truly understands the essence of Chloé. Her first summer collection for the brand solidified her vision, making it clear she’s not here to reinvent the wardrobe but to delve deeper into what’s authentic and timeless. After a soft winter, her Summer 2025 lineup felt like a natural continuation, reaffirming the free-spirited, effortless boho soul of Chloé. This collection was a celebration of all the golden boho chic codes—delicate transparency, generous volumes, and that easy, laid-back comfort that makes fashion feel light. Instead of the controversial balloon mini skirts, she went bold with balloon-style pants, adding a fresh, daring twist. The 1970s, with their free-spirited femininity, provide the perfect backdrop for this Chloé woman. Flowing mullet dresses, super girly mini dresses, and parkas casually thrown over delicate pieces... Chemena Kamali designs for women who want to feel radiant and confident. The sweet color palette, soft ruffles, flare jeans, and perfectly tied bows created a true summer dream. Commercially savvy, seductive, and irresistibly feminine. Not surprisingly, Siena Miller was already rocking one of the cropped jackets from the collection in the front row, signaling an instant hit. And the accessories? Sure to become instant must-haves. Sky-high platform sandals with decorated heels, alongside jewelry featuring golden seashells, adorned everything from necklaces to earrings and even bags. One standout piece was the structured black leather bag, embellished with pearls and gold charms, a true object of desire. With this collection, Kamali reminds us that Chloé’s summer is for women who are free, light-hearted, and, above all, confident.
