- Juju Salimeni: Between the Glamour of the Avenue and the Discipline Behind the Scenes
CELEBRITY COVER EDITION - GLOBAL ISSUE Photo: Mari Araujo - @picsmarioficial / Beauty: Carol Franca - @bycarolfranca / Hair: Douglas - @douguinho / Press office: Kaio - @kaiocezzar_ The undisputed Queen of Barroca Zona Sul for two years, Juju Salimeni is the embodiment of discipline, athletic beauty, and an unyielding passion for Carnival. For her, parading down the avenue goes far beyond the sparkle of costumes or the captivating rhythm of the drums — it’s a ritual, a fusion of spirituality and the physical strength she has built over the years. This Carnival, Juju promises to deliver her best version yet. After losing 10 kilos, she embraced a new aesthetic path: a leaner, more athletic physique with well-defined muscles — a transformation she says has been embraced by her audience, reinforcing her constant evolution. "My goal was to step onto the avenue this year with the best body of my life," she says, making it clear that every rehearsal and every tweak to her diet is part of a meticulous strategy. But Carnival 2025 holds an even deeper meaning: Juju will embody Iansã herself — the powerful orixá of winds and storms, a figure of strength, courage, and energy — qualities that resonate not only in her presence on the avenue but also in her personal journey. The costume, enhanced with special effects, promises to be one of the most impactful of her career — a true reflection of the feminine power she so boldly represents. Alongside her fiancé, a bodybuilder and her greatest ally in her physical preparation, Juju emphasizes that focus and dedication are not hers alone — they are part of a shared routine, where discipline and love walk hand in hand. In an exclusive interview with Hooks Magazine , Juju reveals details about her latest rehearsals, her preparation routine, and the excitement of bringing Iansã to life on the avenue. Get ready to uncover the strength, determination, and inspiration behind the sparkle. Check out the interview: How are the preparations for this year’s Carnival going? They’re in full swing! My goal this year was to achieve the best shape of my life. Last year, I lost 10 kilos, so now my focus has been on sculpting my muscles, making them more defined. I decided to lose weight because I wanted to move away from that more swollen look — my preference has changed. Nowadays, I prefer a more athletic, leaner body with well-defined muscles. I’m really happy because this change was very well received by my fans and followers, and I’ve been getting a lot of compliments. How have the latest rehearsals been? What are your expectations for the big day? The rehearsals have been very special. Barroca’s samba is, without a doubt, the best in São Paulo — it captivates everyone and brings an amazing energy. The feeling of being there, surrounded by that vibe, is incredible. The expectations for the parade are sky-high! We’re very excited and prepared to put on a true show on the avenue. The school's theme is Iansã, and we’re sure she’ll be blessing us. Does anything change in your routine or diet as the parade day approaches? Absolutely! In fact, we made an important adjustment just a few days ago, now that we're in the final stretch. My husband, who handles my preparation, reduced the carbohydrates in my diet so that my body becomes even leaner. This will make my muscles stand out even more on parade day. It’s a strategic move to achieve the perfect result on the avenue. Can we get a sneak peek of this year's costume? Of course! I’m incredibly honored to represent Iansã herself, who is the theme of the school. The costume will be a powerful tribute to her — bold, striking, and full of personality. It will have special effects, something truly magical, and I believe it will be one of the most beautiful costumes I’ve ever worn in these 15 years of Carnival. Does your fiancé, being a bodybuilder, help you stay focused during this preparation? Absolutely, 100%! He is extremely experienced and knows exactly what I need to achieve the results I want. Having someone by my side who also leads a healthy and disciplined lifestyle makes all the difference. It’s a constant exchange, and that helps me stay focused. We are aiming for the best shape of my life for this Carnival.
- Versace FW25: Where Ballet Meets Punk and Maximalist Glamour
Photo Getty Donatella Versace doesn’t just stage a fashion show — she puts on a spectacle. For the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, the creative director delves into the theatrical essence of the house, drawing inspiration from the costumes designed by Gianni Versace in collaboration with Maurice Béjart. The result? A bold performance where classic ballet, rebellious punk rock, and unapologetic maximalism collide — all unmistakably Versace. Photos Photo Getty Photo Getty “My Versace Superheroes. Our house codes are recognised all over the world and make us so strong. I love clothes to empower, to give strength and confidence.” Said Donatella Versace The show opened with quilted skirts, a nod to the brand’s home decor line, setting the tone for a collection that felt both dramatic and daring. Micro dresses burst onto the runway in a kaleidoscope of colors and textures, gradually transitioning into dazzling metallic gowns destined for the most prestigious red carpets. It was a nostalgic nod to the ‘90s — loud, brash, and teetering on the edge of caricature — yet Donatella’s masterful hand kept it all firmly in the realm of high fashion. Photos Getty Beneath the vibrant chaos, sharp tailoring held its ground. Sleek, sexy, and punctuated by pops of color, the suiting balanced the collection’s louder moments, while the menswear looks leaned into bold prints — with even the linings of the coats showcasing Versace’s signature flair. Denim made its mark too, elevated with glamorous embroidery that added a flash of unexpected sparkle to the everyday. Photo Getty And then, there were the accessories. The standout? Fetish-inspired leather gloves, paired with black velvet mini dresses, adding an element of seduction and edge to the show’s final moments. It was a subtle yet striking reminder that the Versace woman is always a mix of power and allure. Photo Getty The front row was just as star-studded as the runway itself, with Cillian Murphy, Victoria Monet, Ice Spice, and Hande Erçel watching the spectacle unfold — an audience well aware that Donatella never holds back. And as expected, the grand finale didn’t disappoint. Set to the electrifying sound of Lady Gaga’s “Abracadabra”, Loli Bahia, Mona Tougaard, and Mica Argañaraz stormed down the runway, driving home the collection’s final message: Versace isn’t about subtlety — it’s about impact. This season, Donatella once again proves that she is a master of blending tradition and rebellion, crafting a world where ballet and punk exist in perfect, glamorous harmony. A bold, loud, and undeniably Versace winter.
- Nagela Glovacki: Between Fashion, Business, and the Relentless Pursuit of Knowledge
‘ITALY’ COVER EDITION - FEBRUARY 2025 ISSUE Photos: Glauber - @glauberbassi / Assistant: @milenavitoriaff / Stylist: @natykuprian Hooks Magazine lands on Italian soil to present the special “ITALY” edition, starring model Nagela Glovacki. More than just a striking face in the media, Nagela embodies the contemporary woman — one who moves seamlessly between the fashion spotlight, the demands of the business world, and an unwavering quest for knowledge. Her entry into the fashion universe happened almost organically. Aesthetic sense, fashion, and self-expression have always been a part of who she is, making the transition to a modeling career feel natural. Without elaborate plans or over-the-top strategies, the invitations for campaigns and editorials emerged as an extension of what she was already living — a passion that gradually took shape. But it would be a mistake to think the journey was free of challenges. The fashion industry, with its relentless pressures and expectations, demanded that Nagela find a balance between maintaining her image and safeguarding her mental health. For her, the key has always been to prioritize well-being, refusing to be consumed by rigid standards. Appearance is part of the job, yes, but never at the cost of inner peace. What makes her story even more fascinating is her ability to balance two intense journeys: a modeling career and life as an entrepreneur. Nagela masters the art of juggling photo shoots, business projects, and moments of study. She understands that success is not linear — it is built on mistakes, restarts, and constant adaptations. For her, patience and strategy are just as important as passion. And it is precisely this intellectual restlessness that drives her. Even with a solid career, Nagela never stops studying, researching, and exploring new horizons. She believes that every new piece of knowledge expands her worldview, impacting both her business endeavors and her presence on the runway. Continuous education is not an obligation — it is a way of life. Check out our exclusive interview with Nagela: 1. What motivated you to start your modeling career, and how was the transition into this world? I’ve always felt deeply connected to aesthetics, fashion, and self-expression, so this world naturally found its way into my life. The invitations for photoshoots and campaigns started coming in, and I saw it as an opportunity to explore a side of me that had always been there — a true passion. The transition happened organically, without grand plans, but it perfectly aligns with my lifestyle and the things I continue to build. 2. How do you handle the pressures and challenges of this profession, such as the constant need to stay in shape and meet the industry's expectations? The industry has its demands, and I understand that appearance is an important part of the job. It’s definitely a challenge, but I believe the key is balancing these expectations with what truly makes me feel good. I take care of my health and fitness, but I never let it consume me. The pressure is real, but I always remind myself that, at the end of the day, the most important thing is being at peace with who I am. 3. How did you manage to balance your modeling career with your journey as an entrepreneur? What challenges did you face in finding that balance? I won’t lie — balancing everything isn’t always easy. Work, studying, and modeling commitments demand time and energy, so I’ve learned to organize my schedule as efficiently as possible. Some days, I need to focus more on my business; other days, I’m diving into something new I’m studying, and sometimes, modeling jobs come right in the middle of it all. The biggest challenge is finding that balance without feeling overwhelmed, but I believe that when you truly love what you do, you find a way. In the end, everything complements each other. 4. What were the biggest lessons you learned when starting your own business, and what advice would you give to someone just starting out in this field? I learned that nothing happens overnight. At the beginning, we have a thousand ideas and think everything will work out quickly, but the reality is different. You need patience and must understand that the journey is full of mistakes and adjustments. Another important lesson is that no one does anything alone — you have to keep learning, connecting with the right people, and adapting. For those just starting out, I’d say: study, have a strategy, and don’t panic. 5. Even with a successful career, what inspires you to keep investing in your studies and learning over time? It’s because I’m naturally curious — I can't stand still. I always want to understand more, learn new things, and dive deeper into the subjects that interest me. I believe that’s what helps me grow, both in my career and as a person. When you study, you open your mind and start seeing opportunities you hadn’t noticed before. And I love that feeling — knowing there's always something new to discover. 6. How do you believe continuous education impacts your career and worldview, whether as a model or an entrepreneur? I believe you can never stop learning. Every new thing you learn opens up a fresh perspective on everything, you know? It shows in my work — both as an entrepreneur and in the fashion world. Constant learning helps me feel more prepared and confident to pursue my plans and handle whatever challenges come my way.
- Prada Fall/Winter 25: Femininity in Deconstruction
Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics At Milan Fashion Week, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons once again proved that fashion goes far beyond what you wear — it’s a dialogue, a provocation, a silent manifesto. For Fall/Winter 25, Prada didn’t offer ready-made answers. Instead, the brand posed a question: what does it mean to be feminine today? And, more importantly — who decides that? Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics The collection moves between the expected and the subversive. Miniskirts — classic symbols of sensuality — appear with high, ruched waistlines, evoking the shape of a bucket bag. It’s a visual game that transforms something traditionally seductive into an almost utilitarian object. Femininity here is not obvious — it’s ambiguous, as if each piece is in constant negotiation with itself. Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics The short black dresses, inspired by the ’60s, feature oversized buttons — details borrowed from masculine tailoring, purposefully out of place. It’s a deliberate contradiction, where “mini” doesn’t mean fragile, but assertive. And the coats? Rounded, oversized, almost cocoon-like, suggesting protection rather than exposure. Stiff leather and dense fur build a modern armor — an ode to silent strength. Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics Bows, strapless tops, and tailored suits — elements that could easily slip into romantic clichés — are reinterpreted. Nothing is what it seems at first glance. There’s a constant feeling of “look again,” as if every detail demands a second reading. Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics This is Prada: a brand that understands that the contemporary woman is not defined by outdated rules but by layers, nuances, and contradictions. And if the message was clear, it’s this — femininity is not a formula. It’s a state of constant reinvention. Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics Next season, short hemlines reign — but not without a touch of complexity. Because, for Prada, being feminine has never been about pleasing others — it’s about questioning everything. Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics Photo: Spotlight Launchmetrics

Check out the exclusive interview with Eduarda: How do you balance your career as an influencer with the challenges of being an entrepreneur? Look, it's not easy, but it's all about organization and lots of energy! I split my time between creating authentic content for social media and managing my clothing brand, always relying on an amazing team that helps me handle the daily hustle. Planning is key to ensuring both the digital side and the physical business are always running smoothly. 2. What inspired you to expand your career into the business world and start your own company? It was a way to merge the digital world with the real one, showing that authenticity and trends can go hand in hand. 3. What were the biggest challenges you faced when you started your business, and how did you overcome them? At first, it was really tough to handle the administrative side, figure out logistics, and still keep my creativity flowing. But with a lot of determination, mentorship, and an amazing team by my side, every challenge became a learning experience. Facing those obstacles helped me grow and made me even more confident to keep innovating in my field. 4. In your view, how has your social media presence helped strengthen your brand? My social media is the perfect channel to share behind-the-scenes moments, highlight trends, and build a genuine connection with my audience. This direct interaction allows me to better understand what people love, so I can create collections that truly resonate with my followers. It’s a blend of inspiration and authenticity that strengthens the brand every single day. 5. What are the main values you strive to incorporate both in your work as an influencer and in your business? I always put authenticity, transparency, and innovation first. Whether I'm posting a look or launching something new, I want everything to reflect a true and unique style — something that respects and inspires people. I believe staying true to these values is what really makes a difference, both online and in the fashion world. 6. What are your future plans, both as an influencer and as an entrepreneur? The future looks exciting! I want to keep growing on social media, exploring new trends, and creating content that inspires my audience. In the fashion world, I’m thrilled to expand my store with new collections and partnerships that bring amazing experiences, both digitally and physically. The goal is to always surprise while staying true to the authentic vibe you all know and love.
- Diesel by Glenn Martens: Graffiti-Covered Inflatables, Reinvented Denim, and a Future in Motion
Diesel Fall/Winter 2025 by Glenn Martens. Photos Getty Against a backdrop of giant inflatables covered in graffiti by artists from around the world — selected through an open call — Diesel reaffirmed its place on the contemporary fashion radar. But this was more than just a runway show; it was a bold creative statement, capturing the brand’s new era under the precise direction of Glenn Martens. Since taking the helm at Diesel in 2020, Martens has led a daring and well-orchestrated repositioning that is already showing concrete results. The brand reported a 3.2% growth in 2024, fueled by its strong bond with Gen Z, which now makes up 35% of its customer base. The secret? A balance between heritage and innovation — both of which were on full display this season. In this collection, denim — Diesel’s beating heart — was explored in endless ways. Classic tweed was reimagined in denim, while pieces coated in a glossy, almost liquid-like film hinted at a futuristic edge. But the true climax came at the finale: three trompe-l’oeil shirts crafted from a latex-like material, blurring the line between illusion and reality. A subtle reminder that, under Martens’ vision, nothing is ever quite what it seems. The invitation itself — a spray paint can — had already set the tone for the show’s collaborative spirit. More than just a clever gesture, it was a direct call to action: Diesel doesn’t want passive spectators; it wants active participants. It’s a smart strategy that taps into the desires of a generation seeking authentic, meaningful connections with the brands they support. And while Diesel reaps the rewards of this bold new direction, there’s a growing sense of anticipation in the air: Glenn Martens’ upcoming debut at Margiela. Part of the same fashion group as Diesel, the iconic maison will soon welcome Martens’ innovative eye, as he steps into the role once held by John Galliano — a transition brimming with promise. Ultimately, Martens’ Diesel isn’t just about clothes. It’s about a carefully crafted narrative that resonates with the present moment and its audience. A bold step into the future — with denim as the cornerstone, but reinvention at its core.
- Dsquared2 30 Years: When Fashion Rebels and Rockstars Collide
Photo disclosure Getty Images In the heart of Milan Fashion Week, Dsquared2 didn’t just celebrate its 30th anniversary — it set the runway on fire. The Caten twins, Dean and Dan, transformed the catwalk into a high-octane spectacle, blurring the lines between fashion show and rock concert. Naomi Campbell, centre, Doechii, left, and JT wear creations as part of the Squared Fall/Winter 2025-2026 Women's s and Men's collection presented in Milan, Italy, Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025. (AP Photo/Antonio Calanni) The night opened with a bang — quite literally — as rapper Doechii emerged from an armored vehicle overflowing with dollar bills, a bold statement that set the tone for an unapologetic celebration of excess. And just when the crowd thought they’d seen it all, Naomi Campbell — the queen of the catwalk — closed the show in a leather biker bodysuit, a fierce reminder that Dsquared2’s DNA is rooted in rebellion, glamour, and unrelenting attitude. (AP Photo/Antonio Calanni) But this wasn’t just a parade of star power. The collection itself was a wild clash of contrasts — Canadian heritage meets urban grit, with a seductive twist. Think short-shorts paired with corset tops trailing dramatic T-shirt trains, sheer net gowns layered under oversized puffer coats, and furry hats that felt more like rockstar armor than winter accessories. The menswear was just as bold: baggy denim worn beneath oversized shorts, plaid shirts elevated with metallic puffer jackets, and jeans dripping in jewels. Photos Getty Images True to their reputation for bold collaborations, the twins brought in the likes of Magliano, Vaquera, Better, Ducati, and even rock legends Kiss — injecting the collection with T-shirts, glittery underwear, and a rebellious spirit that felt like a backstage pass to a sold-out show. Photo Getty And in a moment of pure Dsquared2 drama, Brigitte Nielsen — dressed as a sultry cop — pulled the handcuffed twins out of a police car. A theatrical nod to their “crimes” of excess, or perhaps a playful jab at their unfiltered approach to fashion? Either way, the message was clear: Dsquared2 doesn’t play by the rules — it rewrites them. As the runway morphed into an afterparty, with Doechii and JT turning the stage into a club scene, it became evident that this was more than an anniversary. It was a declaration. For 30 years, Dsquared2 has been the brand of choice for those who dare — the rebels, the rockstars, the fashion outlaws. And if this show proved anything, it’s that Dean and Dan are just getting started.
- Cé Lumière: Beyoncé’s New Fragrance That Captures Light and Power
Photos Courtesy Beyoncé Parfums Beyoncé doesn’t just create music — she crafts worlds. And with the launch of her new fragrance, Cé Lumière, she invites us into yet another sensorial chapter of her artistry. “Some day you’re gonna shine on your own. CÉ LUMIÈRE,” Said Beyoncé. Following the success of Heat (2010) and Cé Noir (2023), Cé Lumière emerges as a luminous expression of Beyoncé’s creative evolution. The name — meaning “light” in French — is no random choice. It embodies the very essence of who Beyoncé is: a woman who radiates strength, authenticity, and elegance. The golden bottle, designed to capture and reflect light, reinforces this concept of brilliance. But the true magic lies in the scent itself. Cé Lumière opens with bold Madagascar black pepper and Italian mandarin — a striking combination that intrigues and awakens the senses. The heart reveals delicate jasmine interwoven with the sharp sophistication of rhubarb. Finally, the base notes of patchouli and musk wrap the fragrance in a lasting, sensual warmth. "Cool still, raw earth, the desert sun, endless horizons, breathe, Cé Lumière, the golden era." Said Beyoncé. Yet, this perfume is more than just a scent — it’s a statement. Beyoncé has always used her art to communicate deeper messages, and Cé Lumière seems to mirror her current era: an artist fully in command of her light, illuminating the path for others as she moves forward. The release comes at a vibrant moment in her career, just as Beyoncé announced her upcoming summer tour in support of her Grammy Award-winning album, Cowboy Carter. The tour will span the US, UK, and Europe, with ticket prices ranging from £71 to £950 — a testament to her ever-expanding artistic empire. Priced at $160 and available in the United States and Canada, Cé Lumière is more than a perfume — it’s a symbol. For those who wear it, it offers more than just a scent: it promises a touch of Beyoncé’s radiant power. Because, as she continues to show the world, being luminous isn’t about shining for others — it’s about setting your own path on fire.
- Jhanne Pires wore an exclusive Dolce & Gabbana look for her debut at the Vogue Ball
Photos: Bannach - @bannachfotografia - Press Disclosure Jhanne Pires attended the iconic Vogue Ball, held at the Copacabana Palace last Saturday (22). Living in Paris, the image consultant made her debut at the country's most coveted pre-Carnival event wearing an exclusive Dolce & Gabbana look. The theme of the 2025 edition, “Vogueland: The Fantastic World of Fashion” , celebrated the essence of fashion, paying tribute to style icons, extraordinary figures, and historic moments in the industry. This year, the ball also marked Vogue Brazil's 50th anniversary, making the event even more special. Following the "extraordinary fashionistas" or black-tie dress code, Jhanne chose the Italian brand to unveil her most fashion-forward version. The piece, inspired by digital art, new technologies, and the nostalgia of past youth reminiscent of the '90s, blends modernity with timeless references, expressing femininity in an authentic and striking way. The styling was completed with jewelry by Igor Lobo, adding a touch of sparkle and exclusivity, perfectly aligning with the concept of the look. "I wanted a piece that told a story and carried a unique meaning. This dress is special — there are only three of them in the world. Moreover, Dolce & Gabbana is a brand that is part of Vogue's history, which celebrates its 50th anniversary in this edition of the ball. For such a conceptual event like the Vogue Ball, I believe D&G perfectly embodies this idea, combining exclusivity, femininity, and fashion-forward expression," Jhanne concluded.
- Dr. Marcel Ferreira: The Art of Transforming Smiles
'BUSINESS' COVER EDITION - FEBRUARY 2025 ISSUE Photographer: Evandro Bueno Ferreira - @evandrobuenof - Credits Text: @duo.strategy With undeniable talent and a career marked by dedication to dentistry, Dr. Marcel Ferreira has established himself as one of Brazil's leading names in aesthetic rehabilitation and dental veneers. With over 24 years of experience, his journey reflects the evolution of a professional who found his true calling in the art of smile aesthetics. In the beginning, Dr. Marcel focused heavily on implant dentistry, a specialty in which he also trained. Working alongside his uncle — a major inspiration in his career — he dedicated himself to restoring patients' smiles through implants. However, over time, he realized that his clinical eye and natural talent for aesthetics were unique strengths that pushed him even further. "I started doing one case here, another there, and soon realized that, beyond desire and passion, I had a natural aptitude. Patients appreciated my work and began seeking me out more and more for aesthetic procedures. That’s when my career took a new direction." The decision to focus on aesthetic smile rehabilitation was a turning point. Today, his dental veneers are a benchmark both in Brazil and abroad, attracting patients who seek a natural, refined, and harmonious result. Dentistry as a Path to Self-Esteem The impact of a beautiful smile goes far beyond aesthetics. It is a tool for confidence, transformation, and empowerment. Throughout his career, Dr. Marcel has witnessed countless stories of patients reclaiming their self-esteem after undergoing his treatments. "Someone who feels insecure about their smile transforms completely after treatment. They express themselves better, feel more confident, and this reflects in all areas of life — including their professional career. I've had patients who, after enhancing their smile, earned higher positions at work, improved their communication skills, and even changed other aspects of their appearance because they gained confidence." On social media, where he has thousands of followers, Dr. Marcel shares his daily routine, stunning results, and insights on aesthetics and well-being. His Instagram, @drmarcelferreira , has become a showcase for his work, featuring impressive before-and-after transformations and highlighting his relentless pursuit of perfection. The Patient Profiles He Still Dreams of Treating Throughout his career, Dr. Marcel has treated numerous celebrities and influential individuals. However, for him, prestige isn’t just about being in the spotlight — it’s about the admiration he feels for each patient. "I prefer to treat people I admire — visionary entrepreneurs, individuals who inspire. Treating someone solely because they’re famous isn’t my focus. Of course, visibility is interesting, but I’m more drawn to profiles that share my life vision, people who make a difference in the world." This mindset reflects how he approaches his work: with purpose, dedication, and a clinical eye that goes beyond aesthetics, aiming to redefine the patient’s relationship with their own smile. From Aesthetics to Education: Dr. Marcel Ferreira’s Future With a fully booked schedule and a solid reputation, Dr. Marcel is already looking ahead: expanding his knowledge by mentoring and offering exclusive courses for dentists. His goal is to elevate the standard of aesthetic dentistry, sharing his expertise and technical refinement with professionals striving for excellence. "I had great mentors throughout my journey, and I believe that sharing knowledge is essential to keeping dentistry in constant evolution. I want to deliver something high-quality, something VIP, that truly makes a difference in shaping other professionals." Another key pillar in his life is his family. Married to fellow dentist Dr. Carol Ferreira, he has found both a personal and professional partnership in their relationship. His children, Bella and Lucca, are his greatest motivation to balance a demanding schedule with meaningful moments outside the clinic. "I always try to be present — traveling with them, planning activities together. Even with the daily rush, I make sure we have quality time. At the end of the day, they are what truly matters." A Legacy of Excellence and Natural Beauty If dental aesthetics once meant exaggerated results — with unnaturally white teeth and artificial shapes — Dr. Marcel Ferreira is leading a new era. True sophistication lies in the balance between technique and individuality. Every smile is unique, and it is through a meticulous analysis of each feature that the key to a natural, refined result is found. "My goal is not to transform someone’s smile into something standardized, but to highlight and enhance what they already have that's unique. Beauty lies in individuality." With an inspiring journey and a promising future, Dr. Marcel Ferreira remains an undisputed reference in Brazilian aesthetic dentistry, proving that a well-crafted smile can be a person's most powerful signature.
- Grace Fiod: The Journey of the Celebrities Personal Trainer
'FITNESS' COVER EDITION - FEBRUARY 2025 ISSUE Photos: Mari Araujo - @picsmarioficial / Make: Carol - @bycarolfranca - Article by @duo.strategy Grace Fiod’s trajectory is a testament to hard work, reinvention, and triumph. The personal trainer to the stars has built her name through relentless dedication and a unique methodology that continues to attract an ever-growing clientele and following. Today, she is a major reference in the fitness world, training high-profile names such as Juju Salimeni, Dr. Frederico Keim and his wife Fran, Thayse Teixeira from SBT, Fabiula Freire—owner of the supplement brand Soldiers—Isabella Arantes, muse of Salgueiro, PK and Thaty, Gigi, actress and influencer, and many more. However, her journey to success was paved with challenges and unexpected turns. From Japan to Brazil: The Beginning of a Journey Born in the countryside of São Paulo, Grace got married at 16 and moved to Japan, where she lived for nine years. At the time, physical activity was not part of her routine; on the contrary, she led a sedentary and unhealthy lifestyle. Interestingly, her entry into the fashion world happened during this period when her uniquely striking features caught the attention of Japanese photographers, leading her to work as a model for two years. However, her life took a new turn when she discovered she was pregnant. Her return to Brazil was driven by the need to care for her mother, who had fallen ill. Back in her home country, she decided to fulfill a promise made to her family: to study law. She earned her degree and even worked in criminal enforcement, dealing daily with crimes and legal proceedings, but deep down, she felt her true purpose lay elsewhere. The Turning Point: From Law to Fitness Grace’s major turning point came through her own health. With a family history of heart disease, she received a concerning diagnosis and was advised to incorporate physical activity into her routine. In just six months, her condition improved drastically, eliminating the need for heart surgery. That was the wake-up call that changed her life. Her passion for fitness grew, and determined to make it her profession, she enrolled in a Physical Education degree. Even during her studies, Grace stood out as an athlete and began attracting clients before even graduating. Her name gained recognition in Tocantins, where she opened an exclusive women’s gym, developing a personalized methodology focused on female needs. With a detailed approach rooted in her own experience as an athlete, she became a local reference, training dozens of clients daily. Grace Fiod’s Methodology What sets Grace apart is her unique methodology, which combines hands-on analysis with an individualized strategy. Her first session with a new client is not just a workout—it’s a disguised assessment. As she leads the session, Grace observes key details such as breathing patterns, cardiovascular endurance, strength, resistance, and even motor coordination. Without the client even realizing it, she is already crafting a personalized training plan. Based on this initial evaluation, Grace defines the ideal strategy for each client. If endurance is lacking, she prioritizes improving that before introducing strength training. If motor coordination is an issue, she makes technical adjustments before increasing workout intensity. Her sharp eye, developed through years of experience, allows her to make continuous adjustments to ensure optimal results. Beyond workouts, Grace’s methodology includes strict nutritional guidance. Her programs integrate both training and diet because she believes they must go hand in hand for maximum results. Instead of providing a fixed monthly meal plan, she adapts the diet based on each client’s progress and daily needs, ensuring a dynamic and effective approach. Another key element of her methodology is innovation in training. To prevent monotony, each session includes variations, new strategies, and unexpected challenges. The goal is to keep clients engaged and motivated while working toward muscle growth and definition. This approach has earned Grace a reputation for creating surprising and highly effective workouts. The “Golden Booty” One of Grace Fiod’s trademarks is her specialized work in glute strengthening and sculpting. Her clients have affectionately nicknamed her the "Golden Booty Trainer" as a tribute to her technical expertise and the incredible results she delivers. She understands that many women aim to enhance this area, which is why she developed a method focused on strengthening the posterior chain—often neglected by other trainers. Grace explains that many fitness professionals overemphasize training the front of the body simply because that’s what clients see in the mirror. However, for a well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing physique, it is crucial to strengthen the posterior chain, which includes the glutes, lower back, and hamstrings. This deep understanding of female biomechanics is one of the key factors that make her approach so sought after. Arriving in São Paulo and Gaining Celebrity Status Despite her success in Tocantins, Grace felt her potential reached far beyond. Her move to São Paulo happened recently, but her rise was meteoric. Her first major client in the city was Dr. Frederico Keim, a renowned plastic surgeon who was impressed by her methodology. From that moment, new doors began to open. Word-of-mouth quickly expanded her reputation. Dr. Rogério Leal, Juju Salimeni, and other prominent figures began training with her, and soon, Grace’s schedule was fully booked. With a method that integrates training, nutrition, and meticulous monitoring, she gained the trust of athletes, influencers, and celebrities. Method, Discipline, and Big Dreams Grace Fiod doesn’t believe in shortcuts. Her work goes beyond workouts—it involves a complete approach that integrates nutrition, training periodization, and, when necessary, hormonal guidance. Her extreme discipline and dedication to each client set her apart in the fitness industry. Among her goals is expanding her work into the digital space, making her methodology accessible to more people, and entering the world of high-performance athletes. Her ultimate dream? Training Cristiano Ronaldo and working with elite football teams and top-tier athletes. The Future of Grace Fiod With a journey marked by courage and strategic shifts, Grace Fiod has solidified herself as one of Brazil’s top personal trainers. Her name continues to grow, her waitlist gets longer, and her passion for what she does only strengthens. More than transforming bodies, she transforms lives—proving that with discipline and dedication, anything is possible. Her parents always told her: "Your knowledge, your faith in God, and your determination—no one can ever take that away from you!" And that is what she believes in.
- Harris Reed Reinvents Upcycling with Theatrical Sophistication for Summer 2025

Known for his grandiose aesthetic and theatrical storytelling, the designer surprised audiences by taking a new direction for Summer 2025: an obsession with upcycling elevated to haute couture levels. For six months, Reed immersed himself in the world of second-hand fabrics, scouring resale sites like eBay and Etsy, as well as small antique and decor shops, in search of materials rich with history. The result? A collection that proves luxury and sustainability can—and should—go hand in hand. The Luxury of Materials with a Past Photo: Getty Images - LFW If upcycling is often associated with a rustic or experimental aesthetic, Reed shattered that notion by transforming historical and decorative fabrics into pieces fit for the red carpet. The designer unearthed true treasures, including a curtain adorned with Art Nouveau lace, Venetian tablecloths, and a 19th-century silk damask that once lined a headboard. His passion for decorative materials stemmed from his collaboration with wallpaper company Fromental in his previous collection and intensified while decorating his own home in London. What could have been a simple recycling exercise became a lesson in how the past can be reimagined with opulence and sophistication. The carefully sourced fabrics were reimagined into sculptural pieces that challenge proportions and evoke the glamour of an era where more was always more. Structured skirts with exaggerated hip volumes, shoulders and collars that extend past the head, and plunging backlines that flirt with surrealism create a visual impact that defies convention. While some may argue that these pieces are impractical for everyday wear, that is not the designer's concern. "The more theatrical, the more people buy the pieces—and I know that's not the reality for other designers," Reed stated, reaffirming his belief that fashion should be an experience, not just clothing. In an industry struggling to balance excess and environmental responsibility, his approach demonstrates that sustainable fashion can be just as spectacular as any other. His Summer 2025 collection is not just a series of stunning looks; it is a manifesto on how creativity can repurpose what already exists and transform the old into the extraordinary.
