  • Nicolly Martins & Afrontameg: sisterhood, purpose, and representation in fashion

'CELEBRITY' EDITION COVER - GLOBAL ISSUE Photo: @demmacedo / Models: @elanicolz @afrontameg / Videomakers: @romulo_albuquerq @olivervideomaker_ / Hair & Beauty: @g.make.hair / Styling: @gustavolemee_ / Studio: @nasulstudio / Backstage: @gimonzaa / Partnerships: @soudealgodao @nilmesz @ablazechainmail @use.vinnici In the new Celebrity  edition of Hooks Magazine , the power of representation takes center stage in a striking cover featuring Nicolly Martins  and Afrontameg . The production is part of a project created by photographer @demmacedo , whose mission is to transform fashion and art into spaces of inclusion. Under the motto “Everyone is in fashion and art is in everyone,”  the initiative celebrates democratic beauty and diversity as essential pillars of creation. Journalist and content creator Nicolly Martins  has become one of the most authentic voices of the new digital generation. With videos filled with humor, reflections on identity, and posts that celebrate natural hair and Black pride, she has built a loyal audience — and carved out a vital space in contemporary media. “I realized the impact of my voice when I started receiving messages from people saying they felt seen and understood through my videos,” says Nicolly . “At first, I just wanted to have fun and share my thoughts, but when I understood that my experiences could create identification and open important discussions, I realized that my content could become a real movement for transformation.” Between laughter and deep reflections, Nicolly  masters the art of balancing authenticity and responsibility. “The internet is a powerful but also very sensitive space. So, I always focus on being genuine — because that’s what truly connects people. Humor is the way I found to open serious conversations in an accessible way.” With a journey defined by courage and representation, Nicolly  uses her platforms as a tool to challenge and dismantle racist stereotypes. “Influencers have a very important role in this process. It’s about showing that being who we are is already a political act. The simple act of existing, taking a stand, and inspiring other Black people is already part of the fight.” The presence of Nicolly  and AFRONTAMEG  on the cover of Hooks Magazine  goes beyond aesthetics: it is a manifesto about belonging. “Being on the cover of an international fashion magazine is more than a personal achievement. It’s about representing Black women and showing that beauty and style reside in us too,” she explains. “Being part of the ‘DESconstrução’ project reaffirms that fashion can be a space for resistance, expression, and freedom.” And alongside her sister, the meaning multiplies. “We support and push each other all the time. We grew up together, we dream together, and seeing all of this come to life is a double achievement. Our bond is strength — and it’s beautiful to show that sisterhood is also representation.” 1. You’ve built a loyal audience with your authentic and fun videos. At what point did you realize that your voice on the internet could turn into a true movement of impact? “I think I realized the impact of my voice when I started receiving messages from people saying they felt seen and welcomed by my videos. At first, I just wanted to have fun and share what I thought, but when I understood that my experiences could create identification and open important discussions, I realized that the content could become a real movement for transformation.” 2. Your videos move between humor, social debates, and reflections on identity. How do you balance authenticity and responsibility when creating content that entertains but also provokes reflection? “I always try to remember that the internet is a powerful space, but also very sensitive. So when I create, I first think about being true — because that’s what connects. At the same time, I carry the responsibility of using my space to provoke reflection without losing lightness. Humor is the way I found to open serious dialogues in an accessible manner.” 3. At different times, you have used your networks to deconstruct racist stereotypes. In your view, what is the role of a digital influencer in combating deeply rooted prejudices? “I believe that an influencer plays a very important role in deconstructing prejudices. We are there, every day, occupying spaces and showing that other narratives exist. It’s about showing that being who we are is already a political act, and that simply existing, taking a stand, and inspiring other Black people is part of the fight.” 4. Fashion and beauty have been paths of expression for many Black women. What does it mean for you to be on the cover of an international fashion magazine and take part in a project like “DESconstrução”? “Being on the cover of an international fashion magazine represents much more than a personal achievement for me. It’s about representing Black women and showing that beauty and style are in us too. Being part of ‘DESconstrução’ reaffirms that fashion can be a space for resistance, expression, and freedom.” 5. The ‘DESconstrução’ project conveys the idea that everyone is in fashion and art is in everyone. How do you see fashion as a tool for inclusion and breaking norms? “For me, fashion is a way of telling stories. When we dress, we communicate who we are, where we come from, and what we believe in. Seeing fashion as a tool for inclusion is understanding that everyone has the right to express themselves and be seen. True art is found in diversity — in the different ways of existing and showing ourselves to the world.” 6. Being alongside your sister AFRONTAMEG on this very special cover certainly brings even greater meaning. How does your relationship influence your trajectory, and how do you strengthen each other in the world of media and fashion? “Being alongside my sister on this cover is incredibly symbolic. We support, inspire, and push each other all the time. We grew up together, we dream together, and seeing all of this materialize is a double achievement. Our union is strength — and it’s beautiful to show that sisterhood is also representativeness.” 7. If you could leave a message for young content creators who, like you, want to occupy prominent spaces in the media, what would be the most important advice? “The advice I would give is: don’t wait for anyone’s permission to occupy your space. Stay true to your essence, even when they try to mold you. Social media values what is real, so trust your voice. If it’s genuine, it will reach someone — and that’s how movements begin.”

  • Charles Hermann presents Victoria Alta Costura's first international collection in Milan

The presentation marked the brand's international launch with a collection inspired by sustainability and conscious luxury Photo: Daniela Vilas Boas Victoria Alta Costura’s international debut, under the creative direction of Charles Hermann, took place in Milan last Saturday (10/10) and marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Brazilian brand. The collection, which symbolizes the maison’s official launch abroad, showcased a sophisticated approach to sustainability and the art of upcycling, focusing on the patchwork technique—a symbol of reconstruction, memory, and purpose. “In this collection, which marks our official international launch, we are extensively showcasing the patchwork technique,” explains Hermann. “Patchwork, which involves reusing materials, allows us to give new life to fabrics used throughout the year, transforming what would otherwise be discarded into something valuable. By repurposing these materials, we avoid unnecessary waste and contribute to environmental preservation. In this way, we create patchwork dresses that not only have aesthetically pleasing designs but also reflect our commitment to sustainability.” Photo: Daniela Vilas Boas With a palette that moves between blue, green, and red, the collection also unfolds into shades of pink, black, white, off-white, and subtle variations of purple and butter yellow. Lightness is the guiding principle—the chosen fabrics prioritize comfort and practicality, resulting in dresses perfect for festive events, yet equally versatile for travel. Photo: Daniela Vilas Boas Taffeta takes center stage, engaging in a contemporary dialogue with international runways. “We’ve noticed this fabric prominently featured in Dior, Chanel, and Balenciaga shows,” the designer comments. “The collection reflects current runway trends, even without prior analysis or in-depth knowledge of them. This convergence is extremely rewarding, as it demonstrates the validation of our work and its natural alignment with the references we admire.” Photo: Daniela Vilas Boas Victoria Alta Costura has been taking international strides for some time. The brand already has an established clientele in Dubai, South Africa, Switzerland, France, and the United States, in addition to having designed creations that have graced iconic red carpets such as the Venice Film Festival, Cannes Film Festival, amfAR, and other major international events. In Brazil, the maison also stands out for dressing prominent figures from the artistic and social scenes, reaffirming its position among the leading references in contemporary national luxury. • Kylie Jenner Returns to King Kylie With Bold Nostalgia and Vision

Photo Disclosure by Kylie Cosmetics Kylie Jenner is revisiting one of her most iconic alter egos — King Kylie  — with a new cosmetics drop and musical reinvention. On October 18, the King Kylie Collection  will be released under Kylie Cosmetics, coinciding with her feature on the new single “Fourth Strike”  with the duo Terror Jr. Aesthetic Revival, Reinvented The collection both honors and updates the visual identity that defined Kylie’s mid-2010s era: teal and blue accents, bold textures, and unapologetic glam. In promotional teasers, she appears with dip-dyed teal hair ends, jewelry that echoes past campaigns, and visual callbacks to the original King Kylie  era. Photo Disclosure by Kylie Cosmetics Kylie wrote: “This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!! … I wanted to give you exactly what you’ve been waiting for.” Her return wasn’t just cosmetic: she steps into the musical spotlight, lending her voice to “Fourth Strike” . “There was a little rumor 10 years ago that I was the one actually singing on 3 strikes! … so I had the idea to come together for Fourth Strike and it would actually be ME FEATURED! … I was soooooo nervous but so grateful.” Photo Disclosure by Kylie Cosmetics This blending of aesthetic and audio reinforces the idea that the new King Kylie  is as much persona as product. Tension Between Past and Present Despite this revival, Kylie has also reflected publicly on her style evolution. In an interview with Elle, she observed that while King Kylie will always be part of her, “it’ll never be what it was when I was younger.” Photo Disclosure by Kylie Cosmetics She said she’s “definitely had some moments of quiet luxury … but I’m always experimenting.” She has also admitted that many trends of her earlier era no longer resonate: “That era will always be a part of who I am, but it'll never be what it was when I was younger … I probably would never wear lash extensions and thick eyebrows … There are just certain trends that I’ve grown out of.” This dual posture — embracing nostalgia, yet moving forward — gives the new launch emotional complexity. The Collection & Cultural Moment The King Kylie Collection  includes revamped versions of fan-favorite lip kits, glosses, and color products, all reinterpreted with modern formulations and finishes. The aesthetic is unapologetically theatrical, but the messaging is clear: this is a return with purpose, not just a reissue. Her alignment with Terror Jr.  is symbolic. Having long been rumored to be involved with their 2016 song 3 Strikes , Kylie now claims ownership of that narrative, flipping speculation into feature. The single “Fourth Strike”  acts as both prelude and accompaniment to the collection’s launch. Fashion, Identity & Messaging Kylie’s relaunch underscores a key truth of contemporary fashion and beauty: it’s not just product that sells, but story, heritage, and continual reinvention. In returning to King Kylie , she taps into her archival identity while reframing it for a generation that expects nuance, authenticity, and evolution. For fashion editors, stylists, and beauty insiders, the new King Kylie  moment offers fertile ground: how to present it, how to pair its jewelry and textures with modern looks, how to narrate its evolution. It suggests that fashion’s most exciting moves come not from discarding the past, but from reinterpreting it — giving legacy looks renewed purpose.

  • Maíra Labanca celebrates her return to the stage with an original play about memories and self-discovery

Photo Disclosure Press After a decade devoted to music, the Minas Gerais-born actress and playwright returns to the stage with “As Portas Só Abrem por Dentro”  (“Doors Only Open from the Inside”), which premieres in Rio under the direction of Ciça Castello and with an original score by André Abujamra. After ten years away from theater — a period in which she dedicated herself intensely to music, releasing an original album, appearing on Billboard highlights, and amassing millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube — actress and playwright Maíra Labanca now marks her return to the stage with “As Portas Só Abrem por Dentro.”  The play is directed by Ciça Castello, making her debut in the role, with an original soundtrack by André Abujamra and production by Diga Sim Produções. Trained at the legendary Grupo Galpão, where she starred in Chekhov classics and delved into works by Brecht and Ionesco, Maíra built her artistic foundation on political, existential, and language-driven theater. This solid background and restless gaze now surface in an original work that navigates memory, humor, and reflection. During the pandemic, the artist reignited her acting career. She returned to studying theater and film, took courses in Brazil and Madrid, participated in short films, worked on independent productions in Spain, and joined the cast of the feature film “Faixa Preta”  (HBO Max). In partnership with actress Luana Camaleão, who also shares the stage, Maíra builds a dramaturgy marked by sharp humor, existential questioning, and emotional delicacy. “This play is based on real events. It’s about childhood — that ground we walk on for a lifetime. I believe, in some way, everything we are is born there. Childhood is that invisible thread that guides us into adulthood and never lets us stop,” says Maíra Labanca. “As Portas Só Abrem por Dentro” thus marks Maíra’s reunion with her first artistic home: the theater — the place where it all began and where, once again, she reinvents herself.

I am very happy and thrilled to celebrate love once again, surrounded by our family and friends.” More than just a celebration, the date will also be a gesture of collective love. • Nat Valverde: The star who turns music into a spectacle

'STARS' COVER EDITION - OCTOBER 2025 ISSUE Photo and Creative Director: @ernnacost / Retouch: @mad.retocuher / Studio: @theforcex / Makeup: @mauromarcos / Styling: @yumikurita / Production: @tbellonzi Explosive on stage, magnetic on the dance floor, and innovative in every detail of her artistic aesthetic, Nat Valverde graces the cover of the STARS  edition of Hooks Magazine. More than just a DJ, she is a creative force who transforms every performance into a sensory spectacle, merging fashion, music, audiovisuals, and live performance into a captivating fusion. Born in São Paulo (Brazil) , Nat has been establishing herself as one of the leading names in the international electronic music scene. Her journey, which began in São Paulo’s clubs and quickly expanded worldwide, has already taken her to Lisbon, Madrid, Barcelona, Belgium, Australia, the United States, Canada, and South America . Today, she holds the 25th position in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs, a recognition that highlights not only her powerful sound but also her unique artistic identity. With a style that blends House , Tech House , and the intensity of Melodic House , her sets go beyond the expected. They are immersive experiences where costumes, designed by Nat herself, interact with the beats, while striking visuals create parallel narratives alongside the music. The result is a collective catharsis that extends far beyond the dance floor. “My creative process always starts with the context: the type of party, the style of the event, the first track that will open the night. Everything needs to connect with the outfit, because I believe each set should tell a story,” Nat explains, revealing how fashion and performance are intertwined in her identity. Among her references, pop, cinema, and fashion are essential starting points. Iconic divas, runway shows, and even animations bring to life visual scenarios that break from the obvious and become central to her creative vision. “I like to seek unexpected inspirations because I always want to bring something unique and innovative to the audience,” she says. Authenticity is, without a doubt, her strongest trademark. It’s what has allowed Nat to share the stage with names like Vintage Culture , Bruno Be, Carola, and Pontifexx , and it’s also what makes her unforgettable at the major festivals she plays. “A true connection only happens when you are genuine. Following trends or copying what already exists doesn’t work. The audience can feel when you’re bringing your essence to the stage,” she says. Exclusive Interview: 1. How does your creative process begin when transforming each costume into part of the narrative of your shows? “My creative process starts with analyzing various factors, such as the type of party — whether it’s during the day or at night — the musical style, and the theme of the event. In addition, I follow the different phases of my career, creating a unique costume style that adapts to each occasion. I believe that the introduction, the first track of the set, must interact with the chosen outfit, because I’ve always sought to tell a story through both music and clothing. This connection between costume and narrative is fundamental for me.” 2. What art and film references influence the construction of your live sets and visuals? “Without a doubt, my artistic and cinematic references play a crucial role in shaping my sets and visuals. I draw inspiration from pop divas, while also keeping up with fashion trends and runway shows. Cinema is also a rich source of ideas; often, I find inspiration in films or even animations. I like to explore unexpected references, stepping away from the conventional in the electronic scene. This allows me to bring something truly unique and innovative to my looks.” 3. When did you realize your sound had truly reached an international audience? “My journey unfolded quickly, and my first international trip, to Argentina, happened just a few months after I started performing. That experience opened doors to many opportunities. From the beginning, my work stood out for its thematic performances and elaborate costumes, which drew the attention of both audiences and producers. This uniqueness certainly helped my sound reach a wider audience and go viral.” 4. What can we expect from the new sound of your upcoming tour, and how does it align with your current identity? “This is an exciting question because I’m going through a transitional moment in my career, introducing a new sound to reach new audiences. While I want to continue connecting with the fans who already follow me, I also dream of expanding my reach by exploring different facets of House and Tech House, even though I’ve always performed these styles. This second half of the year, we’re developing some innovative projects that I can’t reveal yet, but I’m eager to share them soon. My goal is to maintain a strong and authentic identity, bringing my aesthetic and musical references into these new experiences without losing the essence that defines me.” 5. What is the secret to maintaining an intense connection with the audience, even at large festivals? “For me, the secret to maintaining a strong connection with the audience, even at major festivals, is always being authentic. It may sound cliché, but it’s absolutely true: bringing your essence to the stage is essential. If you try to fit into standards or copy what’s already been done, it won’t resonate with people. True connection happens when you perform genuinely, whether your style is bold or unconventional. Authenticity is what truly sets each artist apart and ensures a meaningful bond with the audience.”

  • Roberto Amaral: The Guardian of Forgotten Value in the Tax World

With over 12 years of experience, the CEO of R.A. Soluções Inteligentes has become a leading figure in the tax market, returning billions to Brazilian companies and changing the game of business prosperity. 'BUSINESS' COVER EDITION - SEPTEMBER 2025 ISSUE Credits: Thiago Magalhães - @thiagomagalhaesretratista / Production: Jk360 Translating tax bureaucracy into something simple, straightforward, and profitable is a rare talent. Roberto Amaral has made it his mission. From humble beginnings, facing the challenges of a field often seen as dry, complex, and inaccessible, he chose to carve a path of impact. Where many saw only paperwork and regulations, Roberto saw hidden opportunities—forgotten values in taxes that, once properly recovered, could become fuel for businesses to thrive. From this vision, R.A. Soluções Inteligentes ( Smart Solutions) was born—a company that today stands as a national reference and is beginning to emerge on the international stage. More than just calculations and legislation, its work is about making a direct impact on the lives of businesses and entrepreneurs: real cash flow that means survival, growth, job creation, and new dreams made possible. “We don’t just recover credits. We restore confidence, momentum, and a future for those who dare to build.” Career & Purpose Roberto, how did your journey in the tax market begin? “My story began more than 12 years ago, when I realized that many companies had forgotten amounts in taxes paid improperly. In the beginning, it was difficult because the market was very distrustful and perceived as overly bureaucratic. But my mission has always been to simplify—to show that it wasn’t just about numbers, but about tangible resources that could transform the future of a business.” What sets R.A. Solutions apart in the market today? “What sets us apart is our obsession with real results. We have a highly qualified team, cutting-edge technology, and our own methodology—but above all, we have commitment. We only rest when we see the resources in the client’s account.” Impact & Results You often mention “forgotten money in taxes.” Can you explain? “Many business owners don’t realize it, but Brazilian tax legislation allows for the recovery of improperly paid credits. It’s money that already belongs to the entrepreneur—it just needs to be claimed. I usually say it’s as if there were a hidden safe inside the company, and our job is to find the key.” What have been the most striking impacts you’ve witnessed? “I’ve seen companies on the verge of shutting down manage to survive thanks to these restitutions. Others have used the recovered credits to expand, open new branches, and create jobs. It’s moving to see how technical work can have such a powerful human impact.” “Every real recovered can mean the difference between shutting down or conquering new markets.” Market Vision & Future The tax sector is still seen as bureaucratic and inaccessible. How can this perception be changed? “With clarity and technology. We need to speak the entrepreneur’s language and translate what seems complicated into practical results. When we show credit transformed into cash, the whole perspective changes.” How do you see the future of the tax market in Brazil and worldwide? “The future is digital. We will increasingly see integrated systems, artificial intelligence, and automation. This will reduce errors and increase efficiency. I want R.A. Soluções to be at the forefront of this transformation, including on the international stage.” The Leader and the Man Beyond the executive, who is Roberto Amaral outside the office? “I’m a family man. Married, someone who deeply values the small yet unforgettable moments. I enjoy sports, being outdoors, and living life intensely. The balance in my life comes from my family.” You often speak about your father. What role has he played in your journey? “My greatest example is my father, who is now 80 years old. A man of achievements, passionate about life, always an athlete at heart. He taught me discipline, resilience, and above all, humility—values I carry with me to this day. And of course, my mother, who has always been present and is the love of my life. But speaking of my father, even with all his victories and even his defeats—which I see as part of life—he never lost his passion for simple things. That inspires me every single day. From him, I inherited the strength to persist and the love for pushing past limits.” “My father taught me that success is not just about achieving, but about living with passion and purpose.” What advice would you give to young entrepreneurs? “Persistence. Success isn’t luck—it’s daily discipline. It’s ethics, study, and resilience. Never give up at the first obstacle—every fall is a step that takes you higher.” “Persistence is the key. Success isn’t luck—it’s daily discipline.” Roberto Amaral is not just a specialist in tax recovery: he is the Guardian of Forgotten Value, someone who sees opportunity where many see only bureaucracy. His work has saved companies, generated jobs, and transformed lives. More than numbers, he delivers prosperity. The legacy he is building shows that the tax market can be not only accessible, but also one of the greatest tools for business growth in Brazil and worldwide. The Digital Future You are now stepping into the digital market. Can you tell us about this new chapter? “Yes, this is a very special phase. After years working directly with tax recovery, I decided to share my experience through digital courses. I want to train young accountants, lawyers, entrepreneurs—people who wish to enter this highly promising market. The internet gives us something extraordinary: the ability to learn and teach every day. Just as I keep learning, I want to share this knowledge. My mission now is to open doors, show the way, and create opportunities so more people can transform their lives through the tax market.” “Knowledge only has value when it is shared. • Hoshikuma Minami: The Creative Force Uniting Music, Fashion, and Art

‘JAPAN’ ‘ 日本’ COVER EDITION - GLOBAL ISSUE Photo: Yuna Yoshimori - @yoshimoriyuna / Makeup & Hair: Hazuki - @leafmoonaion / Styling: Hoshikuma Minami - @hoshikuma_minami The JAPAN  edition of Hooks Magazine  features on its cover an artist who defies boundaries and reinvents the dialogue between sound, style, and digital culture: Hoshikuma Minami . Her journey began with the vocal dance group Wagamama Rakia , where she captivated audiences not only in Japan but also across China and Taiwan. That international energy laid the foundation for her solo career, where her distinctive voice took center stage—appearing in Fortnite lobby tracks and global rhythm games like Arcaea . For Minami, music and gaming are inseparable worlds that constantly elevate each other. Beyond her solo path, she embraces chaos and dark humor in DEATHNYANN , her project with daidai of Paledusk, bringing a powerful mix of destruction and playfulness to the stage. Performing internationally, she recalls the intensity of Shanghai audiences, whose unrestrained emotions transformed concerts into immersive, theme-park-like experiences. Yet Minami’s creativity isn’t confined to sound. Her fashion, rooted in the Japanese concept of yūgen , a subtle, mysterious beauty, pushes boundaries with surreal hairstyles and eccentric styling. For her, clothing is an extension of her vision: immediate, fearless, and timeless. With authenticity and audacity, Hoshikuma Minami embodies the spirit of a new era where music, fashion, and art converge to form a universal language. Check out the exclusive interview with the singer: 1. You started out with Wagamama Rakia and now have an established solo career. How was the transition from performing in a group to standing on your own as a solo artist? As a solo artist, I wanted to dive into a world I had never imagined before. But at the same time, I truly loved my bandmates, so in the beginning it was really scary and lonely to leave them. When I sing a whole song and realize that the only voice I hear is my own, it really sinks in that I chose to express myself as a solo artist. Now, I can freely create the music I love without bothering anyone else—maybe that’s actually a good thing. laughs. 2. Your voice has been featured in Fortnite songs, bringing the gaming community closer to your work. How do you see this intersection between music and digital culture? Even before Fortnite, my music often crossed paths with games. For example, one of my songs was chosen for the hardest stage of the global rhythm game Arcaea. I believe good games always come with good music. Sometimes I even feel like, “Is the game good because of the music, or is the music good because of the game?” That’s how inseparable music and games are to me. 3. DEATHNYANN, your project with daidai from Paledusk, has such an intense and unique energy. What draws you most to this darker, more irreverent side of performance? Creating music for DEATHNYANN is always pure fun. Rather than feeling “difficult,” the word “fun” fits it best. While the project often shows a poisonous and dark side, I think we also carry a strong sense of pop within it. Daidai is truly an incredible creator. Recently, we’ve been meeting often even outside of music, and whenever we go out to eat, for some reason we’ve only ever had yakiniku together over the past few years. Maybe we’re a little unusual. laughs Still, the most captivating moments for me are when my voice and his music collide in such an electrifying way. 4. You’ve performed across different countries, from Japan to China and Taiwan. What has been the most memorable experience of sharing your music with international audiences? One of the biggest things I realized while performing overseas is how differently people express their emotions compared to audiences in Japan. I felt this especially strongly when we performed in Shanghai. When people are having fun, when they’re moved, when their hearts are touched—they just shout out, “Wow!!” It’s such a simple reaction, but it left a big impression on me. In Japan, people tend to hold back. If no one around them raises their hands, they hesitate to raise theirs. If no one is shouting, they feel awkward about doing it themselves. But in Shanghai, the audience was far more active than what we’re used to in Japan. It felt almost like they were enjoying a theme park attraction—the way they threw themselves into the moment was so impulsive and full of joy, and I thought it was amazing. That made me want Japanese fans, when they share the same floor with audiences from other countries, to feel free to open their hearts more. (Though maybe that’s just me meddling. laughs) That’s why I’ve always looked forward to both: overseas fans coming across the sea to Japan, and Japanese fans traveling abroad to join us at our shows. 5. Your style has captured the attention of artists and creatives worldwide. How does fashion play into your artistic identity? I project my worldview into fashion just as much as I do into music. Through everything I create, I’m always chasing something that’s hard to put into words. In Japanese, there’s a word for it: yūgen—a kind of subtle, mysterious beauty. That’s why I intentionally choose fashion that feels otherworldly. I might wear an impossible hairstyle or cover myself with an absurd number of stuffed animals. I’m always trying to express that boundary between something that exists in this world and something that doesn’t. I also think the idea that “at a certain age you should dress quietly” is ridiculous. No matter how old I get, I’ve decided I’ll keep wearing clothes that I intuitively feel are beautiful. That’s the kind of person I want to be—someone who shows that it’s okay to keep choosing what you love at any age. Music can’t be experienced until you press play, but fashion communicates instantly at first glance. Even if someone isn’t into my music, they might think, “Her fashion is so cool, I want to listen.” That happens all the time. In that sense, I think I’m pretty lucky—because my worldview is just too good. Get the print edition of the JAPAN issue featuring Hoshikuma Minami. Worldwide shipping:

Today, she sees herself as a voice that not only shares knowledge but also inspires others to believe in their own potential. Exclusive Interview: What motivated you most to take the first steps as an entrepreneur at such a young age? From an early age, I always had the desire to achieve independence and build something that was truly my own. What motivated me most was the belief that, with determination and courage, I could turn dreams into reality and also inspire others to do the same. What challenges did you face at the beginning of your journey, and how did they shape the professional you are today? At the beginning, I faced insecurities, lack of experience, and even some doubts about my choices. But each obstacle strengthened me, taught me to persist, and showed me that discipline and resilience are fundamental for growth. These challenges were essential to my professional development. In your view, what qualities are indispensable for someone who wants to build a solid, long-term business? I believe three qualities are indispensable: resilience, to face the highs and lows along the way; consistency, to stay focused even when results seem slow; and passion, because without love for what you do, it’s impossible to sustain a long-term project. How do you balance your routine between personal life, professional commitments, and future projects? Balance comes from planning and setting priorities. I strive to organize my routine, understand my limits, and value moments with the people I love, without neglecting my professional commitments. I see balance as a daily process, where I learn to adjust my schedule and keep my energy focused on what truly matters. What most impressed you about Farmasi Brazil’s proposal and made you accept the invitation to become a brand ambassador? What impressed me the most was Farmasi’s vision of combining beauty, health, and accessible entrepreneurship. The brand’s purpose aligns closely with my own beliefs: transforming lives, restoring self-esteem, and empowering people. Being an ambassador means representing not only quality products but also a lifestyle that inspires confidence and freedom. How has Farmasi impacted your entrepreneurial journey and expanded your perspectives in the beauty and wellness market? Farmasi has brought a fresh perspective to my journey, broadening my opportunities and connecting me with a market full of possibilities. Beyond offering amazing products, the brand has allowed me to grow as a leader, share knowledge, and positively impact others. Today, I feel that my entrepreneurial journey has gained even more purpose and vision. Get the print edition of the USA issue featuring Bianca Rodrigues. Worldwide shipping:
