We conducted an exclusive interview with her, which you can check out below: 1: Can you share more about your journey into modeling, from your first professional runway show at 15 to being signed for the first time at 17? When I returned to runway after focusing on college, it was with Nicolle Dhimes. She was planning a runway show, but covid shut down events like that in the city, so it became a short film. It was a return to runway for me but also an opportunity to work on a set for the first time. I went on to do more commercial print work with her too. I’ve felt very fortunate—I’ve had pretty constant opportunities in modeling. I walked for swim couture shows with the Miss Bikini US Pageant at Miami Swim Week in 2023 and then, my first time casting for NYFW, I was a VIP model for HiTechMODA. That led to walks both with HiTechMODA and Runway 7 and then the Asian LAFW show at LAFW, among many others. I also stay booked as a print model and a spokesmodel in commercials. I just signed with MMG, so I’m looking forward to more of all of it in the biggest market in the US. Most recently, my work as a model has led me to a feature in the MAXIM Australia February 2024 issue and to being pretty booked up for NYFW Season 1. From the beginning, I saw modeling as a set of skills I needed to dedicate myself to learning. I hired other models as trainers in posing and runway, despite my experience, because I wanted to continue to improve and learn. I love playing with movement and space and the techincal side of it all—what kinds of movements work best depending on the clothing you’re wearing and considering the amount of light and the camera’s shutter speed. Also thinking about the difference between 2-dimensional space like posing for a camera and 3-dimensional space like working with a crowd at a runway show that wants that kind of vibe. It’s all this giant juggling act and I love all sides of it. Nicole Dhimes’s short film: 2: What aspects of fashion attract you the most? How do you see clothing as a form of sculptural art, and how does this perspective influence your modeling? I started sketching designs as a girl. That soon translated into building my own wardrobe as a teenager from what I could afford at thirft stores while working at an ice cream shop. I’m most attracted to clothing that is playful in color and shape. I see clothing as a form of sculptural art because it feels like an extension of what attracts me to ceramics, an art I practice. I like to throw pottery on my pottery wheel and the way that clay develops through movement—that also feels like what I do as a model. Bring shapes to life through movement. I always ask designers what the spirit of the walk should be. If there’s a word they could use to describe it—what would that be? It helps me channel the feeling of it into how I move. I guess that means I approach fashion as character-creation. Ultimately that’s how I choose my own clothes I wear—what helps me become different versions of myself. We sculpt ourselves through fashion, too. 3: You’ve had the opportunity to work with various designers, such as Jenny Heins. Could you share a particularly fun or memorable experience you’ve had while collaborating with a designer? Recently I had the opportunity to walk for Jenny Heins Palette in New York at HiTechMODA . Then she designed a bikini for me to wear for my photoshoot with MAXIM Australia. I wore another of her dresses for an episode of American Dream, featuring Graham McTavish, which she hosted. I'm modeling for her again in a few weeks for Season 1 of New York Fashion Week. Being able to model through different events and different looks with the same designer is so much fun--I'm really grateful for the artistic partnership and the opportunity to represent her designs. I frequently work with designers across shows and campaigns—this is also true for Sonal Couture, Inner Be Leaf, and Natalia Yaya. You truly become a team. I’m grateful for that. 4: Your involvement in stunts began after competing on American Ninja Warrior. How do your diverse interests in MMA, circus aerials, skydiving, and more contribute to your work as both a model and a stunt actress? I’ve become a student of movement through my experiences with stunts. I’m also certified as a personal trainer and nutrition coach through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. I’m interested in how people move and how to optimize that movement. It’s a great combination for modeling. I frequently see the benefits of this combined approach. As a runway model, you work hard to develop grace and fluidity—all of it requires strength and balance. Print modeling sometimes puts you into positions that require overall muscle control and balance. All types of modeling benefit from seeing the body as a tool for expression. The same is true for stunt acting. 5: Looking ahead, you have a busy schedule with NYFW, Miami Swim Week, and various acting projects. What excites you the most about these upcoming opportunities? I see each runway show and each movie as a team project I get to help build. I love the challenege of performing individually of course, but I’m most looking forward to building great projects with people I greatly admire. People coming together at the top of their game to make amazing art. Also there’s this moment when you’re on a set or a runway that’s challenging and exhilirating and I’m not just not sure there’s any way to top that feeling. Today I feel strong and capable of achieving any dream I aspire to. I feel that nothing is impossible. I've experienced a lot of sadness in my life, felt things that I didn't even understand at the time. I've ignored and transformed situations into unreal creations because that was the best way my brain could cope with the suffering. I came from a very difficult situation, a humble family with various types of problems. I had the support of some friends who always uplifted me. I've been in therapy for 7 years, with the same psychologist for 4 years. I'll never stop emphasizing how taking care of my mental health was crucial for me to be where I am at 25 and how supportive friendships were crucial. Some people always gave me opportunities even when I was nobody and had nothing to offer besides my determination, charisma, and kindness. I was just a girl going through many difficulties at home and in school, and every job opportunity I had in my city since a young age, when I started working out of necessity, I went through horrible things. When I stop to think, I can't believe I managed to dream and overcome so much at such a young age. One day, I'll share more details. I could never count on anyone at home. I practically dictated everything I sought to learn from an early age, driven by my innate desire to succeed. I always felt alone and was alone for a long time until I found some good people in my life. Deep inside, I always believed that something very good would happen to me. And it did. Today, I've moved away from the story of the sad, depressed girl with all the reasons not to be anything in life to the happy, successful mentor, digital creator, and women's mentor. I became an entrepreneur who emerged from poverty, overcame depression, and now shines as an inspiring woman living in the most expensive city in the world. I feel so proud of myself; I look at my younger self, close my eyes and think, "We won, we achieved much more than you asked for." My younger self would surely be very happy and proud. Happy and proud is how I can describe how I feel. 2: Faced with the challenges you encountered, how did you manage to maintain emotional balance and continue seeking success? Often, people like me who have gone through so many childhood traumas, when adults, will face some situations of imbalance and most of the time won't understand why. Maintaining balance doesn't mean never feeling anxious, sad, or angry again. It means that you will go through situations where you feel unbalanced, but you will be able to come back to yourself. The most important thing is not what they did to you but what you do with what they made of you. Today, I can go through any unbalanced situation and come back to myself. I can identify my patterns, comfort myself, feel whatever is necessary, and react in the best possible way to all challenging situations. But knowing that the next day we have to keep going. In the end, the most important thing is the only thing we can control: our reaction to people and challenging situations. I had the privilege of developing and learning how to deal with my emotions in my early 20s. We should learn this as children. I didn't have anyone to teach me when I was a child, so being very curious, I sought help, knowledge, and developed this crucial skill as an adult. And here I am today, inspiring others to do the same. Knowledge is power, and self-awareness liberates you and takes you to unimaginable places. 3: What advice would you give to young people who have faced difficult situations, felt unsupported, and dealt with emotional problems? My advice would be to seek mentors and positive influences to inspire you. Be curious; read everything you can about emotional intelligence and personal development. Seeking medical help in some cases is also very important. But having mentors and people to walk alongside you, teaching you good things, is crucial. Always believe that something very good is coming to meet you on your way. Every morning before leaving home, think, "Today something very good is going to happen to me," and before sleeping, think, "Something very good is about to happen to me." Be persistent; you have to take action, and even when you receive rejection, you have to keep trying to achieve what you want so much. Be persistent. Try everything within your reach and a little more. And have a grateful and happy heart; even in the midst of difficulties, always believe that something very good is about to happen. 4: You mentioned the importance of emotional intelligence. How did you develop this skill, and how has it contributed to your achievements? Emotional intelligence was the secret to my journey. I have been studying it since I was 17, as I mentioned, I have always been very curious. Curious and passionate. I love intelligent people; I love studying behavior and our emotions. Doing therapy for 4 years with a wonderful professional, I had a thirst for knowledge, and I still do. Studying human behavior and human relationships fascinates me. I believe I have never spent a day in my life without seeking knowledge. I've read many books, taken some courses, and had mentors along the way. I also learned from my own experiences; I have lived alone since I was 19, lived in two different countries, in Brazil lived in 5 different cities, and traveled to more than 27 states within the United States. I am an excellent observer; every place and person I have encountered has taught me something. So I can say that I have a lot to offer; my knowledge was gained through suffering, dealing with pain, and facing challenges. When you overcome something, you become capable of teaching others to do the same, and that's why I wanted to specialize in relationships. I developed a keen understanding of human relationships. I love taking care of people and helping women develop emotional intelligence and self-esteem so that they can live a happy and healthy relationship and a dream life. 5: About the book you are about to launch, could you give us a brief glimpse of what we can expect and how this project aligns with your inspiring journey? I have two books to be released soon. The first one I started writing when I was still living in Brazil, where I noticed the difficulty women face in dressing for any and every occasion. In this book, I wanted to explore the relationship between fashion and female behavior. We will discuss topics such as dressing intelligently and improving our relationships. When we improve the way we see ourselves, everything changes, and a good image is crucial for that. The second book will be more focused on achieving success in romantic relationships, such as being treated like a princess in a relationship. I'll once again delve into human behavior, explaining to women of all ages how to live a relationship of self-value and have a high standard lifestyle. These books align completely with my entire journey. I developed these skills on my own, observing others. Good taste is also something innate that I take pride in, and I discovered that it can be taught and developed. That's what I want to do – transform all the women who go through my mentorship and read my books into someone's dream woman.

How has this identity influenced your current endeavors in fashion and business? Dance is intrinsic to my identity, positively influencing my work in fashion and business. This unique connection is a constant force in my journey. 5: Recognized as influential, you attend exclusive events and are well-received in important circles. How do you balance exposure and privacy in your personal and professional life? Balancing exposure and privacy is a constant pursuit. Attending important events does not mean seeking excessive fame. Being VIP, for me, is enjoying my achievements with discretion, prioritizing my family. 6: Your nickname, Tati VIP, intrigues many. Can you share more about the meaning behind the "VIP" in your name and how this reflects in your approach to life? Being VIP, for me, is feeling good, taking care of myself, and flaunting my own luxuries. It's not about superiority but sustaining my accomplishments and providing a comfortable life for my family. That is the true essence of being VIP for me.

I consider myself a kind, strong, brave, sweet, and altruistic woman. 2- Giovanna, on your Instagram, you share your moments and travels. Do you believe that the trips you have taken have contributed to your life in any way? If so, how? As a lover of aviation, I am passionate about traveling. My travels have immeasurably contributed to making me exactly who I am today. I did most of my trips alone and I realized that being alone in another country can be magical for those who surrender themselves to the experience. I usually say that we are the sum of the places we visit, the people we meet, and the cultures we experience. Therefore, each trip left a little bit of the place/people/culture in me, and I will always be grateful for everything I have experienced, both the good things and the struggles. 3- Giovanna, you are a woman who inspires several followers. How do you feel knowing about your relevance? It's funny to think that I somehow inspire other people. I am "new" to the digital world and for me, it has always been natural to share some moments, looks, travels, quotes, etc. When I began to understand the relevance of inspiring people, I confess that I was super excited to delve even deeper into the digital world and show more and more of my daily life. I love sharing good and positive things, and interacting with my friends and followers is a very enjoyable moment. Imagining that I can inspire people to improve their routines with healthy habits, travel tips, interesting looks, and even motivational phrases makes me very happy and enthusiastic. 4- Do you have any plans/projects/ambitions that you could share with us exclusively? I have many plans. For this year, I would like to share exclusively with Hooks that I am in the finals of Miss Bragança Paulista 2023. It has been an incredible experience participating in this competition, and I hope that in July, I can bring good news and have the honor of representing my city and, consequently, continuing to contribute to the social causes that I am passionate about and that need so much support and visibility. I am also considering the possibility of returning to work in the aviation industry. I am studying hard, and maybe in the near future, I can start working abroad. 5- Do you have any complementary activities or hobbies? Which ones? Do you think they impact your life in any way? I was a professional swimmer for a few years, and I love exercising, swimming, running, and meditating. My body and mind are my home, and I think it's essential to take care of "my home" with care and dedication. 6- Your lifestyle is admired by many people. Have you always been like this? What tips would you give to those who aspire to have a lighter lifestyle? Like many people, I come from a humble and hardworking family. I always realized that focusing on the negative side of not-so-good moments would not help me in any way, so I preferred to look at the present and seek solutions. Thus, the focus can never be on the problems, but on the solutions. I try to respect my feelings and I think it is important to see ourselves with self-care, and as a human being, we all have good and bad days, that is natural. Being grateful for the minimum has always helped me to make the bad days lighter and have the certainty that everything would be okay in the morning. We have the gift of having a new opportunity at life every day, so we need to take advantage of it. 7- Have you ever dreamed that you could get this far? Since I was a child, I have aimed for great achievements in my life. I have always been adventurous, curious, and my dreams never seemed impossible to me. So I am very happy to be achieving my goals. 8- If you could display a message on a billboard, what would it be? It's not easy to find happiness within ourselves, but it is impossible to find it elsewhere.
