Studies show women earn, on average, 19.4% less than men and hold only 35% of leadership positions across Brazil.
Despite progress in the labor market, the gender pay gap remains a persistent challenge. The 2024 National Salary Transparency Report revealed that women earn, on average, 19.4% less than men.
A survey conducted by Diversitera, a company specializing in promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within organizations, found that only 35% of leadership roles—including executive management, board positions, and C-level roles—are held by women. Meanwhile, women represent 70% of operational roles, such as reception and cleaning positions.
However, some companies are investing in diversity and equity. At DLK Modas, 60% of the workforce is made up of women, and 58% of leadership positions are held by them. Women are at the center of the decisions that move the brand forward.
At DLK, the promotion and recognition of women go beyond commemorative dates. It is reflected in ideas, creative processes, strategic decisions, and the attention to detail that shapes each collection, as well as in the energy that drives the company’s daily operations. Women are present where direction is defined and where the company’s next achievements begin to take shape.
“We celebrate every woman who moves forward with courage, vision, and discipline, because every step taken by a woman opens the path for many others. DLK is female strength in motion,” the company states.
