'FRANCE' EDITION COVER - NOVEMBER 2025 ISSUE

There are covers that represent a moment. And there are covers that represent a journey, the kind built with discipline, sensitivity, and a profoundly global perspective. Andressa Morais, featured in the FRANCE edition of Hooks Magazine, belongs to the second group. Her story is living proof that identity is built in motion, blending countries, languages, experiences, and passions that, at first glance, seem unrelated, until she brings them together with natural ease.
Traveling through 28 countries and speaking four languages did more than expand her repertoire. It redefined her way of existing in the world. “Each culture I encountered taught me to see life through different perspectives,” Andressa says. This multicultural journey shaped a woman who is curious, sensitive, adaptable, and confident in her choices, a presence that carries the same cosmopolitan refinement that inspires the Parisian atmosphere of this edition.

Her background in Law, combined with an intense journey in ballet, professional swimming, and competitive volleyball, reveals a rare blend. Strength and delicacy, strategy and artistry, a precise mind and an expressive body. “Ballet gave me elegance and expression; swimming gave me endurance and focus; and Law offered me logic and responsibility,” she says. It is from this unlikely fusion that the most authentic version of Andressa emerges, disciplined, emotional, and deeply committed to her own growth.

During her travels, she also discovered the world of wine, a passion that eventually led her to become a sommelier. For Andressa, each bottle is a passage to another place. “Wine is history, culture, and identity,” she says. It is a way of traveling without leaving the spot and of connecting sensitivity and knowledge with elegance.
With Italian citizenship and two years living outside Brazil, Andressa learned what it means to feel she belongs to the world. This period opened space for independence, courage, and a more practical, European-inspired lifestyle, guided by the sophistication of simplicity and the pleasure found in small details.
In sports, especially volleyball, which is her favorite, she found powerful lessons about focus, resilience, and teamwork. “No one wins alone,” she says, recalling the high-performance teams she played for, such as Bradesco and Barueri.

By bringing together all these versions of herself, traveler, athlete, artist, lawyer, sommelier, and global citizen, the answer emerges for anyone seeking to understand who Andressa Morais truly is, a woman driven by evolution. “The common thread is the constant search for my best version,” she says.
It is this plurality, this expanded perspective, and this elegant presence that make Andressa not only the face of the FRANCE edition, but also the perfect representation of what it means to live with authenticity and purpose, both in the world and for the world.

Check out the exclusive interview:
You have visited 28 countries and speak four languages. How has this multicultural experience transformed your worldview and influenced the woman you are today?
Traveling through 28 countries and communicating in four languages has deeply expanded my perception of the world and of myself. Each culture I encountered taught me to see life from different perspectives, to value diversity, and to develop a much more refined sense of empathy. These experiences made me a more adaptable, open, curious, and confident woman. I believe that living among different realities brought me maturity, sensitivity, and a global mindset that I carry into every area of my life.

Your background in Law, combined with an intense journey in ballet and professional swimming, reveals a rare blend of discipline and sensitivity. How do these very different areas connect within your personal story?
Although they may seem distant, all these areas are part of the same foundation that shaped me: the discipline of routine, the sensitivity of movement, and the commitment to my own growth. Ballet brought me elegance, posture, and expression; swimming gave me strength, endurance, and focus; and Law offered me logic, clarity, and responsibility. Together, these experiences shaped my character and taught me that excellence is born from the union of technique, emotion, and determination.

Besides sports, you are also a sommelier. At what point did the world of wine enter your life, and what fascinates you most about this art?
The world of wine entered my life very naturally during my travels. I realized that each bottle carried history, culture, and identity, and that sparked my curiosity. Studying wine became a passion, and today, what fascinates me the most is precisely this possibility of discovering the world through aromas and flavors. For me, being a sommelier is about uniting sensitivity, knowledge, and a deep appreciation for the experiences that each wine provides.

You lived outside Brazil for two years and hold Italian citizenship. How did this international experience impact your choices and your current lifestyle?
Living outside Brazil and having Italian citizenship expanded my sense of belonging to the world. Those years abroad taught me independence, courage, and the ability to start over anywhere. They also influenced my lifestyle in many ways. Today, I am more practical, cosmopolitan, open to new cultures, and aligned with a European way of living, one that is balanced, elegant, and appreciative of small joys.
Volleyball is your favorite sport, and you even played professionally on teams such as Bradesco and Barueri. What did that period on the court teach you about focus, resilience, and teamwork?
Volleyball shaped me in many ways. Playing on high-performance teams taught me to have absolute focus, to handle pressure, and to understand that overcoming challenges is a daily process. I also learned that teamwork is about trust, communication, and respect. No one wins alone, and every victory is built collectively. These values stay with me to this day and influence everything I do.

With so many different experiences — including dance, high-performance sports, Law, wine, travel, and languages — what do you feel is the common thread that connects all these versions of Andressa Morais?
The common thread is the constant pursuit of my best version. Everything I do comes from the desire to evolve, to learn, and to transform each experience into growth. I am driven by curiosity, discipline, and a passion for challenges. In essence, all these areas reveal the same core: a determined, versatile, sensitive woman who is always open to reinventing herself.
