Nearly a decade ago, when IV therapy, micronutrient replacement, and injectable nutritional therapies were still far from being part of everyday practice in many medical offices, nutrologist Dr. Mariana Comério began building in Espírito Santo a body of work that would help bring these possibilities closer to clinical practice in the state.
Today, holding RQE 11801 in Nutrology, with more than 24,000 followers on social media and a career built entirely in Espírito Santo, Mariana has become a prominent name in the field. At the helm of Mariana Comério Clínica in Vitória, she has developed an approach that brings together Nutrology, Injectable Nutritional Therapy, hormone implants, metabolic monitoring, and technologies focused on health, longevity, and aesthetics.
But her journey with nutritional therapy began long before she had a clinic bearing her name.
From the ICU to Preventive Medicine
Mariana’s medical training has an important distinguishing feature. Before dedicating herself to private practice, she spent six years working in hospitals across Espírito Santo and was part of one of the state’s leading hospital nutritional therapy teams. It was in intensive care units, caring for critically ill patients, that she developed part of the perspective she would later bring to outpatient care.
“I started in Nutrology in the ICU. That experience gave me a more careful perspective on patients, integrating disease treatment with prevention. To this day, I bring the lessons I learned back then into my practice,” she says.
Throughout her career, she deepened her training in areas such as sports medicine, healthy aging, nutritional therapy, and hormonal regulation. Injectable Nutritional Therapy, which includes IV therapy and intramuscular nutrient administration when medically indicated, has become one of the areas of focus in her practice.
At a time when IV therapy has gained popularity on social media, Mariana also seeks to draw a distinction between trends and medical practice: treatment should be based on an individual patient assessment rather than indiscriminate protocols.
A Clinic Bearing Her Signature
After nine years at the helm of Clínica Integrare, the physician took an important step in her entrepreneurial journey by opening Mariana Comério Clínica in Enseada do Suá, Vitória.
The space reflects a vision Mariana has developed over the years: excellence in medicine does not have to be a cold or impersonal experience. The goal is for care to begin with listening, with tests, technologies, and treatments being used according to each patient’s individual needs.
“I wanted to create a space where patients could take a break from their routine, feel welcomed, and invest in their own health with safety and responsibility,” she explains.
This philosophy can be seen even in the details of the clinic. Architecture, music, scent, and the patient experience were carefully designed to create a welcoming atmosphere, while the medical structure includes resources such as Anovator bioimpedance and technologies including Liftera, Asgard Cryolipolysis, and Unyque Pro.
The clinic also develops individualized protocols that may combine different therapeutic strategies. Injectable Nutritional Therapy, for example, uses vitamins and minerals administered through specific routes following medical assessment and indication.

Since 2016, her clinical practice has been structured around individualized care. The new clinic was also created with the ambition of becoming a nationally recognized medical ecosystem, bringing together integrative health, aesthetics, innovation, and professional education.
“I’m proud to have built everything here, where I was born. Espírito Santo breathes health, well-being, and quality of life. I want to become a national reference without leaving here, showing that it is possible to grow professionally while valuing our roots,” Mariana says.
The expansion also opens a new chapter. In addition to caring for patients, the physician plans to invest in training other professionals and sharing the knowledge she has accumulated throughout her career.
In a field that has gained enormous exposure while also becoming increasingly surrounded by easy promises on social media, Mariana believes that qualifications must remain the starting point.
“There is a lot of information on the internet today, as well as many professionals without the necessary training. Patients need to seek out physicians who hold specialist qualifications, have experience, and are backed by scientific evidence. That makes all the difference when it comes to treatment safety,” she emphasizes.
More than simply associating her name with the popularization of IV therapy in Espírito Santo, Dr. Mariana Comério has built a career that reflects the transformation of Nutrology itself in the state: she began in hospitals, moved toward prevention, and now continues to expand through a clinic that carries not only her name, but also her vision of medicine.
