EWI Global Awards Brings Together Brazilian Entrepreneurs and Leaders at a Ceremony at Historic Château de Chillon in Switzerland
The international awards, conceived by Brazilian entrepreneur Natália Mondelli, recognized impactful journeys, entrepreneurship, and leadership during a gala evening on the shores of Lake Geneva
Switzerland, September 2026 — The historic Château de Chillon, one of Switzerland’s most iconic landmarks, hosted the second edition of the EWI Global Awards on September 5. The international awards recognize entrepreneurs, leaders, and prominent personalities whose careers stand out for their achievements, innovation, impact, and contributions to society.
The EWI Global Awards was conceived and produced by Brazilian entrepreneur Natália Mondelli, who is based in Switzerland. For Mondelli, bringing Brazilian entrepreneurs to a venue such as Château de Chillon also carries a symbolic meaning.
“There are many people building companies, creating jobs, transforming markets, and impacting lives. Many of these stories deserve to cross borders. The EWI Global Awards was also born from this desire: to recognize achievements and place outstanding journeys on an international stage,” she says.
An Awards Ceremony with a Social Purpose
Beyond business and institutional recognition, the EWI Global Awards is directly connected to the work of Empowering Women for Integration (EWI), an organization founded in Switzerland in 2021 that focuses on the integration and development of immigrant and refugee women through entrepreneurship, education, professional training, and network building.
Throughout its journey, EWI has developed projects, events, and initiatives focused on integration and entrepreneurship in partnership with professionals, companies, and organizations across Switzerland.
The Global Awards reflects this vision of bringing the business world together with social impact, using connections, knowledge, visibility, and resources to expand the reach of the initiatives developed by the organization.
“I believe recognition only truly matters when it also creates momentum. The award celebrates those who have achieved meaningful results, but there is something greater behind it. When we are able to turn influence, business, and connections into opportunities for others, we create a much more powerful cycle,” Mondelli explains.

A Brazilian entrepreneur based in Switzerland, Natália Mondelli is an entrepreneur, author, speaker, and specialist in internationalization and business connections.
