With over three decades of experience in music and Christian ministry, producer, pastor, and multi-instrumentalist André Calore has stood out for his impact on both the gospel and secular scenes — always marked by artistic sensitivity, technical excellence, and a strong sense of purpose.

Born on December 4, 1978, André began his musical journey at the age of five, playing drums alongside his father at church. At eight, he received his only formal guitar lessons. From then on, he built a self-taught career that shaped him into a well-rounded musician, mastering keyboard, guitar, bass, and drums. Although he holds a degree in Business Administration, it was in music that he found his true calling.

“I always knew my mission was with music. When I entered the seminary, they said I had the profile to lead churches, but I would always respond that I wanted to take care of musicians. There are pastors for youth, couples, children… but very few care for musicians — such a sensitive area. That’s where I found my place,” Calore shares.

As a music producer, singer, and arranger, André Calore has worked with some of the biggest names in gospel music, including Ron Kenoly, Raiz Coral, Robson Nascimento, Ton Carfi, Ministério Ipiranga, and 3 Palavrinhas. He has also made his mark in the secular music scene, collaborating with artists like Double You, Salgadinho, Art Popular, and Gabriel Sater, in addition to appearances on TV programs such as Ratinho, Teleton, and Programa Silvio Santos.

“Moving between the gospel and secular worlds is still a taboo for many people. But I see music as something celestial. When used to praise God, it takes on an eternal purpose. Gospel taught me who I belong to. And secular music gave me professionalism. Working with the band Double You, for example, taught me a lot about arrangements, production, and international sound.”

His first solo album was released in 2005. In 2013, Som de Gratidão featured collaborations with Ton Carfi and Paulo César Baruk. Then in 2023, he released the single Exaltem a Cristo, reaffirming his multifaceted talent — serving as lead vocalist, producer, arranger, and keyboardist.

Between 2015 and 2023, Calore served as Pastor of Music and Creative Ministry at Igreja Batista do Povo (IBP) in São Paulo. There, he recorded albums, produced the short film O Legado, released the children's EP Alegria e Paz, created digital courses, and led events and theatrical musicals. “At IBP, we had an extremely active and creative ministry. Today, at Vida Church in the United States, we carry the same spirit — with new challenges, but the same essence.”

Currently, André lives in Winter Garden, Florida, where he serves as Worship Pastor and Production Director at Vida Church, a congregation with a missionary presence in countries like Luxembourg, Spain, the Dominican Republic, and Haiti. There, he leads teams, trains musicians, and organizes services with both artistic and spiritual excellence. In 2023, he released three songs with the ministry Vida Worship.

But one of the most remarkable projects of his career is, without a doubt, 3 Palavrinhas — the world’s largest Christian children's music project. With over 11 million YouTube subscribers and 10 billion views, the channel has reached children and families across the globe. Calore has been the producer and arranger of the series since the very first album.

“It’s a privilege to know that children are talking to God through the songs we produce. My son Miguel, who has cerebral palsy, has always been my benchmark. If he smiled while listening to the arrangements, I knew I was on the right track. Today, we’re already on volume 10, and seeing the project win awards and reach so many families is truly moving.”

In addition to his work as a pastor and producer, André is the author of online courses focused on training music leaders and production technicians. His course “O Diretor” has already impacted students who aim to professionalize bands, ministries, and audiovisual structures in churches.

Married since 2000 to Yara Calore and father to Miguel, now 17, André Calore blends personal life, ministry, and art with a clear purpose: “Worship and praise go beyond music. They are paths we use to glorify God and serve others.”
