LOS ANGELES, OCTOBER 2025 – Victor Sally, the Brazilian composer whose work has become integral to the country’s audiovisual landscape, is expanding his reach with a distinct blend of cinematic scoring and local rhythm. With a catalog featured in over 300 TV programs across Brazil’s largest networks, Sally is a key architect of contemporary broadcast sound, bringing a powerful instinct for storytelling through melody to millions of daily viewers.

Sally’s compositions span nearly every genre and audience segment, including major channels and programs such as TV Globo (Big Brother Brasil, Fantástico, Globo Esporte), Canal UOL (opening, closing, and background tracks for all programs, including Acessíveis UOL, Otalab, and Zeca pelo Brasil), Jovem Pan News, Canal OFF, and BM&C News.

“I’ve always believed that a theme song should tell a story before the first image appears,” says Sally, a principle guiding his work, whether creating a one-minute opening sequence or a full documentary score. His ability to build complex soundtracks under tight broadcast schedules, coupled with a cinematic sensibility, distinguishes his work in television.

“His musical culture, intelligence, and a tireless desire to produce at a surprising speed make the musical work inspiring and full of possibilities. I am sure that we will continue together, realizing great projects that will resonate and impact the public in unforgettable ways [...] It is thrilling to see how Victor's music finds such diverse paths, from Hollywood cinema to clients like TV Globo, Canal Off, Jovem Pan, Zoomoo Kids, WhE Play, and Canal UOL," comments Teresa Lampreia, CEO & Founder of WhE Play.

Among Sally’s recent credits are big productions from Canal OFF and Globoplay, such as “Janaínas: Deusas do Mar”, which was nominated for the New York Film Festival. It tells the story of women fighting for recognition inside and outside the water, sharing tales of struggle, overcoming challenges, and empowerment in a sport that is predominantly masculine and white.

Another remarkable work of Sally’s career is “Bono: O Cão Surfista”, from Canal OFF (Brazil) launched in 2018. The film features an original theme song and chronicles the journey of Bono, a Labrador who surfs with his owner, Ivan Moreira, as they pursue new challenges and records.

Victor Sally continues to grow in his music career. In 2024, he launched his pop album, Hollywood (available on Spotify). The album represents a significant milestone in his artistic journey, reflecting his bold presence in the entertainment industry. The project, produced in part by four-time Latin Grammy nominee Gabriel Fernandes and co-produced by Sally, captures the vibrant essence of the show business capital, blending pop, synth-pop, and pop-rock.

As Victor Sally’s melodies continue to open and close some of Brazil's most-watched programs, his journey reinforces a simple truth: in modern media, the ability to make sound feel like a story remains paramount.
