  • Angélica Santos: A View of the World

'TRAVEL' COVER EDITION - MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photography: Emanuele Jeane Appendino - @emanuele_jeane_photographer / Make: Roxana Corciu - @roxanacorciu Traveling is more than just a hobby for Angélica Santos – it is a way of life, a means of connecting with different cultures, and absorbing the unique beauty of each destination. The cover of the 'TRAVEL' edition of Hooks Magazine unveils how her experiences around the world have shaped her perspective on life and her art behind the lens. Every place Angélica visits leaves a special mark, but it is the fusion of landscapes and culture that fascinates her the most. For her, it is not just about admiring iconic landmarks but about feeling the energy of the streets, observing the architecture, and, of course, savoring the local flavors. However, it is the people who make the difference. Strangers' smiles, shared stories, and traditions experienced up close make each journey truly unforgettable. Among her many adventures, a journey through Eastern Europe profoundly changed her way of seeing the world. Destinations like Estonia and Latvia opened her eyes to less-explored cultures, revealing the richness that exists beyond traditional travel itineraries. Through these experiences, she learned to travel without preconceptions and to always remain open to the unexpected, allowing herself to be surprised. Photography emerges as one of the pillars of Angélica's connection with the world. For her, a special image goes far beyond the perfect landscape; it must capture the essence of the moment. The golden light of late afternoon in a charming alley, a sincere gaze caught by chance, or a scene that evokes indescribable feelings. Among many memorable shots, one taken on a bridge over the Seine in Paris uniquely reflects her essence. The city, which was her home for a while, carries a blend of nostalgia and freedom that resonates in this spontaneous and deeply meaningful image. However, photographing while traveling also comes with its challenges. The biggest one? Balancing the desire to capture every moment without losing the real experience. While she loves spontaneity, Angélica also values planning when the light or the scenery calls for a more carefully composed shot. After all, finding this harmony between living the moment and capturing it is the true secret to authentic and unforgettable photography. If she had to choose a single destination to photograph for the rest of her life, the answer would be clear: Italy. Living in the country has made her realize how each region has its own unique charm—from the serene villages of Tuscany to the vibrant chaos of Naples. The Mediterranean light, the historic architecture, and the passionate energy of the Italians turn every photograph into a living work of art. READ THE INTERVIEW: 1: What fascinates you the most when exploring a new destination? Is it the culture, the landscapes, or the people that make the experience unforgettable? Every destination has its own unique charm, but for me, it’s the combination of culture and landscapes that always captivates me. I love getting lost in the streets, feeling the energy of a place, observing the architecture, and of course, experiencing the local cuisine! But in the end, it’s the people who truly make a trip unforgettable—their stories, their smiles, and the way each culture expresses itself. 2: Have you ever had a moment when a trip changed the way you see the world? How was that experience? Living in different countries has already transformed me in many ways, but I think traveling through Eastern Europe made me see the world with new eyes. Places like Estonia and Latvia, which I didn’t know much about before visiting, revealed a unique beauty and a rich culture that isn’t always featured on traditional travel itineraries. These experiences taught me to let go of preconceived notions about destinations and to always be open to the unexpected. 3: When you're traveling, what inspires you to grab your camera and capture a moment? What makes a photo special to you? For me, a special photo is one that captures not just the landscape but also the feeling of the moment. It could be the perfect golden light at the end of the day in a charming alley in Lisbon or the spontaneous smile of someone I met along the way. I always strive to capture not just the place but the emotion it brings me. 4: Is there a place you’ve visited where you feel you captured your essence perfectly in a photo? Can you tell us about that image? I think one of the photos that best represents who I am was taken in Paris, on a bridge over the Seine at sunset. Paris was my home for a while, and this photo brings me that unique feeling of freedom, beauty, and nostalgia that the city holds. It was a spontaneous shot, but every time I look at it, I remember exactly how I felt in that moment. 5: What is the biggest challenge of photographing while traveling? Do you prefer spontaneity, or do you like to plan each shot? The biggest challenge is finding the balance between living the moment and wanting to capture it. Sometimes, the desire to take the perfect shot can make us forget to truly experience the place. I try to be spontaneous, but I also like to plan when I see that the light or the setting calls for a more intentional shot. 6: If you could choose only one destination to photograph for the rest of your life, which one would it be and why? It’s hard to pick just one, but I think it would be Italy! Living here has made me realize how every little corner has its own unique beauty—from the peaceful villages in Tuscany to the enchanting chaos of Naples. The light, the architecture, and even the way people live here make every photo come to life.

  • Between Beauty and Danger: Vicki Demito's Experience with Aesthetic Procedures

Credit: Bruno Oliveira/LV Assessoria In recent years, the pursuit of the perfect body has led many people to undergo aesthetic procedures without fully understanding the risks involved. Influencer Vicki Demito knows this reality all too well: after undergoing body harmonization treatments, she discovered that the injected material was dangerous and could have fatal consequences. Today, she uses her experience to warn others about the dangers of this industry. Working with one's own image can be a challenge, and Vicki Demito feels this pressure firsthand. “Nowadays, you wake up already bombarded with information about the perfect life, the perfect body. And when you work in this industry, you become your own business card,” she explains. She believes that those who fit the most accepted beauty standards tend to gain more relevance on social media, which only increases the pressure. Credit: Bruno Oliveira/LV Assessoria But to what extent is the pursuit of the ideal body worth the risk? Vicki underwent a procedure believing she was receiving a collagen stimulator, but the reality was far different. “On the second application, I immediately had a rejection reaction. At the hospital, they told me it wasn’t a stimulator but a different type of product. I felt deceived, powerless,” she confesses. After this discovery, Vicki faced serious health issues that could have been fatal. “Severe pain, recurring ulcers, and I recently found out it could have led to a pulmonary embolism or kidney failure,” she reveals. Fortunately, she was able to seek help in time, but the experience was traumatic. Despite the challenges, she doesn’t believe there is a lack of information about the risks of aesthetic procedures. “Today, the media talks a lot about it. Before doing anything, it’s standard practice to have a consultation with a doctor. I think we are aware of the risks,” she assesses. However, the final decision isn’t always based solely on information but also on social pressure. Credit: Bruno Oliveira/LV Assessoria For Vicki, the beauty standards imposed on trans women can be even more intense. “There’s this idea of ‘being a woman.’ But what does it mean to be or look like a woman nowadays? That question is, at the very least, complex,” she reflects. Since a young age, she has faced criticism about her appearance. “I suffered a lot from the comments, cried, went to therapy. I still do, but nowadays, I don’t care anymore. It’s my body, and it’s unfair to compare myself to others. What truly matters is looking in the mirror and feeling good about myself.” If she could advise someone who feels the need to change to be accepted, she would say, “If you feel that need, then change. Who am I to judge?” Today, Vicki is part of a group that raises awareness among men and women about the dangers of unsafe aesthetic procedures. “Whenever I have the chance to talk about this in a media outlet or publication, I’ll be there. I’m incredibly grateful to be here telling my story because I could have become just another statistic.” She believes that Brazil already has strong regulations in the aesthetics industry, but the real problem lies in the tolerance of irresponsible professionals. “Anvisa is very strict. What’s missing is reporting bad professionals,” she states. Credit: Bruno Oliveira/LV Assessoria When it comes to changing beauty culture on social media, Vicki advocates for measures such as ending filters and stricter moderation of comments. “Filters create a distorted image that makes everyone insecure. I think we should educate ourselves more and stop comparing so much.” Finally, Vicki leaves a warning: “Think about whether you’re getting procedures because you truly want them or because of beauty standards. And always seek safe places. Our lives are priceless—we can’t afford to cut corners when it comes to health.” Vicki Demito’s story is a reflection of the reality faced by many people in pursuit of unattainable beauty standards. By turning her pain into a warning, she reinforces the importance of making conscious and safe choices in the world of aesthetics.

  • THAY DRUMOND: A JOURNEY OF SELF-ACCEPTANCE, FASHION, AND INTERNATIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES Edition | MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photograph: Aleksandar Pasaric - @apasaric / Hair: Angel Oliveira - @_angelhairstylist Hooks Magazine is proud to present Thay Drumond as the star of the "UNITED ARAB EMIRATES" edition. With an inspiring journey, she has carved out a space for herself in the competitive world of international fashion and is now preparing for an exciting new chapter in her career. At first, fashion was not a dream for Thay. Her height and slender figure often drew attention in a way that made her feel out of place. However, upon joining a modeling agency, she encountered other women with similar profiles and began to see her own beauty differently. What once made her insecure became one of her greatest strengths. Fully immersing herself in the fashion world, she built a career that reflects her personal and professional growth. Her international journey has taken her across multiple countries, but two destinations have left a lasting impact on her story: Turkey and Dubai . In Turkey, she experienced unforgettable moments and found a unique sense of belonging. However, Dubai secured a permanent place in her heart. Witnessing the iconic water show was a defining moment in her life—a realization that she was living a dream she had never imagined possible. Motherhood was one of the greatest challenges and transformations in Thay’s life. When she first discovered her pregnancy, she felt overwhelmed with fear, uncertain about how it might impact her career. The emotional weight of this moment led her into a deep period of introspection. However, throughout this journey, she found strength and a renewed sense of purpose. Motherhood brought profound growth, making her even stronger and more determined. Physically, Thay also experienced a positive transformation after pregnancy. Her body changed, but in a way that made her feel even more beautiful and confident. Always mindful of self-care, she maintained a balanced routine of hydration and healthy eating, which contributed to a quick and natural recovery. Recently, Thay returned to shooting in Dubai, reigniting the adrenaline and passion she has for fashion. Any initial uncertainty about her performance quickly gave way to confidence and the joy of being back in her element. With greater maturity and assurance, she rediscovered the spark that made her a standout model. Now, Thay is preparing for a new chapter: moving to China to explore new opportunities in the fashion industry. With high expectations and a positive mindset, she sees this phase as a chance for growth and the consolidation of her international career. Although she doesn’t plan to stay for many years, she believes there is still much to achieve and wants to make the most of her next years in fashion. EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: 1: How was your journey of discovering fashion, considering it wasn’t initially your dream to pursue this career? It was a challenging and transformative process. At first, I didn’t have much confidence in my body because I was always very tall and thin, which made me stand out in a way that made me uncomfortable. I felt different from other girls and, for a long time, thought it was a bad thing. When I joined an agency, I started seeing other models with the same body type as mine, and that made me see my own beauty differently. Little by little, I immersed myself in the fashion world, understanding what it truly meant and falling in love with every detail. It was a gradual yet intense awakening. From the age of 18 until now, at 26, fashion has been an essential part of my life. I only took a two- to three-year break because of my daughter, but I still love this profession. Looking back, I can see how much I’ve grown and matured in this industry. 2: You have worked as a model in different countries. What was the most memorable experience of your international journey? Every country I’ve been to has given me incredible experiences and taught me something different, but two places have profoundly shaped my journey: Turkey and Dubai. In Turkey, I had unforgettable moments, connected with amazing people, and felt incredibly welcomed. But Dubai, without a doubt, holds a special place in my heart. I think it’s a destination that captivates anyone, and for me, it was no different. The first time I saw the water show, it was an indescribable emotion. My eyes filled with tears because, at that moment, I realized I was living a dream—a dream that, years ago, I never imagined would become reality. I am very grateful to God for giving me these opportunities. Each country I’ve been to has helped me grow, both professionally and personally, and that’s something I will carry with me for life. --- 3: When you discovered your pregnancy, you felt it could impact your career. How did you handle that moment emotionally, and what were the biggest challenges? Finding out I was pregnant was a shock to me. I was about to sign one of the best contracts of my career, so my first feeling was fear. I was terrified, I cried a lot, because I thought everything could fall apart. At first, I didn’t take the news well—I felt lost, unsure of how to balance motherhood with my professional dreams. I went through a very difficult period, isolating myself to the point of staying locked in my room for a week, barely eating. But little by little, I started to understand that nothing happens by chance. If this was happening, it was because God had a purpose for me. And now, looking back, I see that it was the best thing that could have happened. I truly believe in the saying that before the harvest, you have to go through the process. And the process is often painful, but the reward is always worth it. My daughter gave my life a new meaning and transformed me as a woman. Today, I can’t imagine my life without her, and I am infinitely grateful for everything I have experienced. 4: After becoming a mother, you managed to regain your physical shape and even feel better than before. How was this recovery process, and what habits helped with this transition? Motherhood changed me completely, both inside and out. I receive a lot of compliments from my friends, who say that my body, my face, and even my energy feel different. Before, I saw myself as a girl, but after having my daughter, I feel like I truly became a woman. During pregnancy, I always took great care of myself. I knew my body would go through many changes, so I made a point to stay very hydrated, used oils every day, and drank plenty of water. My diet also played a big role in my recovery. I didn’t follow any strict regimen, but I always ate a balanced diet. I’m not the type to overindulge in fast food or sweets, and during pregnancy, I actually craved simple, nourishing foods like rice, beans, chicken, and salad—which turned out to be great for me. Looking back, I see that all of this made a difference. My body changed, but in a way that makes me feel even more beautiful and confident. My stomach isn’t completely flat, but it looks great, and the best part is—I didn’t get a single stretch mark. I believe the secret was maintaining balance and consistent self-care. 5: Recently, you did a photoshoot in Dubai and felt the adrenaline of returning to work. How was that experience, and what has changed in Thay from before to who she is today? The day before the photoshoot, I was really anxious. It had been a while since I worked in fashion, and I started questioning whether I still knew how to pose, if I still had that feeling. I mentioned this to my husband, and he said something that stuck with me: “It’s like riding a bike; you never forget.” And he was absolutely right! On the day of the shoot, I threw myself into the work, and as the photos were taken, I became more and more comfortable. My heart was racing, and I felt that amazing adrenaline rush, that sensation of being alive and doing what I love. The Thay from before was more insecure, afraid of making mistakes. The Thay today is more mature, more confident, and knows exactly what she wants. This experience was a big reminder for me that fashion has always been a part of who I am. 6: Now that you're planning to move to China and seek new opportunities in fashion, what are your expectations for this new phase of your career? My expectations for this new phase in China are sky-high! I know many models who work there, and some of them have a profile similar to mine. Two of them, in fact, are brunettes – one with curly hair and the other with straight hair – and they always tell me there are plenty of opportunities over there. I'm excited to start this journey and see how the market will welcome me. I don’t think I’ll stay for many years, but I believe I have about three or four years to dedicate myself intensely to my career. I want to make the most of this phase, land important jobs, and grow even more professionally. I think China will be a huge experience for me, both in fashion and in my personal growth. I’m preparing for this move with a lot of positive energy and faith that it will be an incredible new chapter in my story.

  • A New Era for Loewe: Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez Take the Creative Lead

Photo Disclosure Internet Just five days after Jonathan Anderson officially stepped down as Loewe’s creative director, the Spanish fashion house has announced its new visionaries: Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the duo behind Proenza Schouler. Their appointment marks the beginning of a fresh creative chapter for Loewe, a brand that has flourished under Anderson’s 11-year tenure. McCollough and Hernandez’s transition to Loewe has been met with widespread anticipation and enthusiasm within the fashion industry. In an official statement, the designers expressed their excitement about taking on this new challenge: “We are deeply honored to join Loewe, a house whose values and mission align perfectly with our own.” A Shift in Aesthetic Direction? Known for their intellectual approach to fashion, McCollough and Hernandez have built a reputation for blending craftsmanship with modernity at Proenza Schouler. Their designs often fuse effortless tailoring with artistic experimentation, making them a compelling choice to lead Loewe into its next phase. The transition raises questions about the brand’s future aesthetic: will it retain Anderson’s idiosyncratic playfulness and surrealist edge, or will McCollough and Hernandez introduce a more structured and minimalist sensibility? Anderson, who redefined Loewe with a mix of artful eccentricity and handcrafted luxury, has left an indelible mark on the brand. His departure fuels speculation that he may take over at Dior, following rumors of Kim Jones’s potential exit from the maison. If confirmed, this would be another strategic move by LVMH, further shaking up the creative leadership within the group. What’s Next for Loewe? Photo Disclosure Internet Loewe has long been a brand that champions craftsmanship and innovation, a legacy that McCollough and Hernandez are poised to continue. Their expertise in balancing tradition with modernity could lead to an evolution in Loewe’s signature aesthetic, perhaps infusing it with a newfound American perspective. With their debut collection set to be unveiled in the coming months, all eyes will be on McCollough and Hernandez as they redefine the Loewe identity. Will they embrace the brand’s artisanal heritage while pushing it in a new direction? One thing is certain: the fashion world will be watching closely as this new chapter unfolds.

This charming chalet takes your breath away the moment you arrive. The sounds of nature—sheep, horses, geese, and birds singing—make you think, "Oh my God, I want to live here!" Unlike conventional accommodations, this chalet was designed to offer a complete immersion in nature. With rustic architecture and meticulously planned details (I mean meticulously !), the space combines comfort, simplicity, and sophistication. Large windows allow natural light to flood the interiors, offering guests a panoramic view of the surrounding nature and wildlife, creating a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. The well-equipped kitchen makes the desire to cook ever-present. Not to mention the heated pool, right next to the fireplace, with the most breathtaking view you can imagine! Created by a couple passionate about travel, the chalet masterfully fulfills its purpose: to touch our souls. It’s impossible to leave without feeling moved. We had the opportunity to interview them and share a little more about their story. Come with us! 1. Without a doubt, the D’Alma Nature Chalet is truly an immersion in nature and tranquility. What is the story behind this special place? Who are the creators, and how did all this magic begin? D’Alma Nature & Refuge was born from our desire to create experiences that touch the soul. We are a couple passionate about travel, always seeking places that leave a unique mark on us. From this passion, D’Alma Nature & Refuge came to life— a space designed to offer a deep connection with nature, where every detail was crafted with love and intention. The chalet, in particular, embodies this essence: a surreal retreat that blends rustic charm with modern comfort, ensuring a luxurious yet deeply connected experience with nature. 2. What makes the experience of staying in a chalet in nature so special compared to other types of accommodations? The experience of staying in a chalet in nature is special because it provides something that is often lacking in everyday life: time and connection. Here, our guests can slow down, breathe fresh air, listen to the sound of birds, and feel the energy of nature around them. Unlike conventional hotels, where the experience can be more impersonal, at D'Alma, everything is designed so that each stay is unique and memorable, with an energy that welcomes and transforms. 3. I noticed that every detail was specially planned to offer more than just a stay, but rather an experience. How was the chalet designed to provide comfort without losing the connection to nature? The D'Alma Chalet was designed to offer maximum comfort without losing its natural essence. We used materials that respect and harmonize with the environment, creating a space that blends rustic charm with modernity. Every element was carefully thought out to provide an authentic experience: large windows that bring nature indoors, cozy lighting, and handmade details, ensuring our guests feel welcomed and in harmony with their surroundings. 4. For those looking to experience this for the first time, what tips would you give to make the most of the stay? For those visiting D’Alma for the first time, our tip is: surrender to the experience! Put your phone aside, take the time to walk barefoot, observe the starry sky, and feel the energy of the place. Every corner has been designed to provide moments of peace and connection, so allow yourself to fully immerse in nature and your own soul. 5. I found it amazing that you transformed trees, which were already in the space, into beautiful and elegant lamps. How did this idea come about? The idea of transforming the trees that were already on the site into lamps came from our respect and love for nature. Instead of simply removing the wood, we wanted to give it a new life, bringing its story into the chalet in a unique and elegant way. This way, each piece carries the energy and history of the space itself, further strengthening the connection between the building and the surrounding nature. 6. And last but not least: What would you like to shout to the world if you had the opportunity? If we had the opportunity to shout something to the world, it would be: “Live experiences that touch your soul!” D'Alma Nature & Refuge was born from this desire, to provide moments that stay in your memory and heart. More than just a place to stay, we want to be a refuge for those looking to reconnect with themselves, with the people they love, and with nature. D'Alma Nature & Refuge currently offers two experiences: D'Alma Chalet, a unique, surreal chalet full of energy, where our guests can retreat to immerse themselves and connect with people, soul, and nature; and D'Alma Sítio, a rural home proposal for a nature-filled experience with family and friends, far from the commitments of daily life and the hustle and bustle of the city. Two different proposals, but both with the same principle: to provide our guests with experiences from our soul to theirs. Our next experience currently under construction will be D'Alma Bus! An old American-style bus that is being renovated to provide yet another unique experience for those staying at D'Alma Nature & Refuge! It will be positioned at the top of the hill and will feature all the amenities to create another unforgettable experience, with all the essence that D'Alma aims to provide! We can’t wait to experience it and fall in love too!! Until next time!! Kisses!!

  • Paula Oly: The Power of Reinvention in Fashion

'FASHION' COVER EDITION - MARCH 2025 ISSUE Photograph: @vignarolistudio / locations: Menchetti Perugia / Fluke Perugia / L'Orselli Comfort Food & Drink Paula Oly is the star of the FASHION edition of Hooks Magazine, and her journey reflects the essence of fashion: transformation, resilience, and self-confidence. With 25 years of history in Italy, she has built a remarkable career, overcoming challenges that shaped her perspective on the luxury market and the role of women within it. Initially, her passion was focused on Italian art and culture, but the paths of life led her to a new reality. The true fresh start came years later, when she realized she wanted more than the routine she was living. With courage, she faced personal and professional challenges, redefining her purpose and finding fashion as a space to express her expertise and sophistication. In the competitive luxury sector, Paula knew how to position herself strategically. For her, excellence is the differentiator that breaks barriers and creates space, regardless of origin or age. Her work led her to collaborate with major names in Italian fashion, including prestigious brands like Gucci, and to work directly with influential figures in Italy's political and business spheres. Recognition came over time, with a significant appreciation for her work, the result of dedication and continuous improvement. Professional maturity also brought a new mission: to strengthen women's self-esteem, especially after 40. Realizing the lack of discussion about female empowerment in certain contexts, Paula published books and began addressing the subject in depth. Her approach combines image and psychology, showing that success is not just about appearance, but about confidence and clarity of goals. Paula also carries with her the conviction that knowledge is the key to any transformation. Since receiving the advice that studying changes the way people are seen and respected, she made education a priority in her life. Today, she takes pride in sharing her knowledge and witnessing the impact of her experiences in different cultures. The future holds ambitious plans: expanding her work to Brazil, bringing inspiration and motivation to both men and women who wish to evolve. In addition, she will continue to speak about Self-esteem & Image at events in Italy, contributing to the growth of a more open and inclusive mindset in the fashion world. Interview with Paula Oly: 1: You’ve lived in Italy for 25 years. How was the immigration process and starting over from scratch? What were the biggest challenges and lessons learned along the way? In reality, I didn’t start from scratch when I arrived. I came to study Italian Art and Culture; my dream was to work in an art gallery, but then I fell in love with an Italian and took other paths. The real fresh start happened years later, when I decided I wanted more than what I was living. Life couldn’t just be that. So, after a divorce, I put my pain in my pocket and started from scratch. Many challenges, but unquestionably important lessons for personal growth. 2: Working in the luxury sector as a foreigner requires constant adaptation. How did you position yourself in this market and what were the main obstacles you faced? The fashion sector in Italy is truly enchanting and rich in opportunities — incredibly rich. I always think there’s room for everyone, and I strongly believe in honesty and the importance of fighting for what’s yours, without stepping on anyone. It’s a beautiful multi-ethnic industry where I’ve never experienced xenophobia — never. I positioned myself with excellence in delivering my work. I studied extensively and continue to study to always stay one step ahead and know what to offer my clients. We’re talking about politicians and influential figures in Italy, as well as high fashion companies like Gucci, for which I worked in 2024 and, due to scheduling conflicts, had to exclude in 2025. 3: Ageism in fashion is still a very present issue. How do you view this reality, and what do you think can be done to change this mentality in the industry? Ageism exists in fashion, but in certain sectors, like for models. In others, age and experience are considered valuable. I started working in fashion after 30, exactly thinking: "What can I do that will be valued at my age?" I also believe that any prejudice can be broken with excellence in delivery. In fact, over time, my work saw a 300% increase in value compared to the beginning. The rest is history and a waste of time. I don’t like to waste time worrying about what others are or aren’t doing — I just go ahead and do it. 4: You've spoken a lot about women's self-esteem after 40. What motivated you to address this topic, and what impact do you hope to create for the women who follow your work? Years ago, I took a positive psychology course to further enhance my luxury consulting work, connecting image and psyche. I believe self-esteem is the foundation for anyone’s success in life, as long as it's built on concrete goals. Additionally, I published two books on the subject and received a great response, especially from women, revealing a significant gap in this area. Italian women are still far behind us, Latin Americans, when it comes to female empowerment. There's still a long way to go here. My goal is to inspire through my life experiences, without wanting to indoctrinate or tell anyone what’s right or wrong. Nothing is absolutely right or wrong — it all depends on what you want for your life. Without a doubt, self-esteem is the foundation for a happy life, both with yourself and with others. 5: You've published books and always emphasize the importance of studies and professional development. How has education influenced your journey, and why do you consider it essential in your field? More than twenty years ago, I received the best advice anyone could give: "Study. People will respect you more, you'll be seen differently, and you'll have the ability to think better and solve your problems more efficiently..." I carry that advice with me for life. For me, studying is of fundamental importance — not only to be a more capable professional but also to become a better human being. Even after so many years here, I still get emotional when I enter a room and, many times, am the only foreigner, yet I see people stop to listen to what I have to say. It’s incredible and a great source of pride for me. 6: What are your plans for the future? Are there any new projects, books, or initiatives you’d like to share? My plans for the future are ambitious and exciting. I want to scale further in my sector and invest in new areas. I’m exploring new possibilities and aim to take my work to Brazil. I believe this is the right time to inspire and motivate both men and women in my home country. One of our greatest qualities is the immense desire for change and evolution, and it will be an honor for me to plant seeds in fertile ground. This spring, starting on March 30th, I have several events scheduled in Italy where I’ll speak about Self-esteem & Image. It’s a pride to lecture not only in another language but also to contribute to enriching a culture that, though slowly, is opening up to new perspectives. A challenge accepted!
