Thaís Giraldelli, a visionary entrepreneur in the beauty field, has been capturing the spotlight as a pioneer in eyelash extensions in Brazil. Additionally, she is also a renowned influencer and speaker. Recently, we had the privilege of interviewing her, right after her participation in the second edition of the Beauty and Business Conference at the prestigious Harvard University in the United States.
The talented influencer, who exudes confidence and beauty, was featured on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. Dressed in a stunning embroidered gown by Patricia Bonaldi, the renowned Brazilian designer of the PatBO brand, Thaís completed her look with a dazzling set of jewelry from Laura Marchi Joalheria.
During our exclusive interview, Thaís shared her experiences and perspectives on the Cannes Film Festival and her rising career.
Here are the highlights of the interview:
1. How do you feel about the fact that this edition of the Cannes Film Festival featured the highest number of female directors?
Thaís Giraldelli: "I feel that this is a reflection of the women's movement that is happening in all areas. Women are dedicating themselves to studying and specializing at a much higher rate than men. I believe we will see an increasing number of women in all sectors in the coming decades, which is a source of great pride."
2. What was your experience like participating in the second edition of the Beauty and Business Conference at Harvard University?
Thaís Giraldelli: "When I was invited, I was so overwhelmed with emotions that I even cried. Since then, I spent months preparing for this moment. Speaking at Harvard is a significant achievement, and I treated this opportunity with the utmost care it deserved. The lecture was a success and certainly a milestone in my life and career."
3. Could you tell us a bit about the dress you wore on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival? Who designed it and what was the inspiration behind the design?
Thaís Giraldelli: "The dress was designed by the talented Brazilian designer Patricia Bonaldi. Made of tulle and embellished with silver sequins, it perfectly matched my desire for an elegant, sparkling, and classic look."
4. In addition to the dress, you also wore a set of diamonds from Laura Marchi Joalheria. Could you tell us more about these pieces and how they complemented your look?
Thaís Giraldelli: "The jewelry made all the difference! A diamond-studded necklace with a diamond pendant paired perfectly with the ear cuff and the ring - a true masterpiece - in white gold and adorned with diamonds. The pieces from Laura Marchi Joalheria added a touch of sophistication and glamour to my look, magnificently complementing it."
5. How do you feel about being invited to attend one of the most important events in the film industry, such as the Cannes Film Festival?
Thaís Giraldelli: "I was extremely honored with this invitation. It is the dream of countless women to walk the famous red carpet. It is thrilling, and you truly feel like you're inside a movie! I hope to return next year and also share this experience with all the people who were rooting for me in Brazil."
6. What were your impressions when you saw other personalities like Marina Ruy Barbosa, Izabel Goulart, Bruna Biancardi, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rafa Kalimann, and Adriana Lima shining on the red carpet alongside you?
Thaís Giraldelli: "They are incredible! I took inspiration from their looks to choose my own. After all, Cannes is not just a film festival; it is a fashion and trend event where we showcase dresses that could be on the runways of Fashion Week. They are completely disruptive and conceptual creations."
7. Besides participating in the Cannes Film Festival, do you have any other upcoming projects or events you'd like to share with us?
Thaís Giraldelli: "I have many amazing things planned for this year. Who knows, maybe I'll be part of an event even bigger than the Cannes Film Festival? I promise to share everything with you all! Stay tuned!"
