  • Dr. Magno Liberato – National Reference in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Committed to delivering results that transform not only faces but life stories 'HEALTH' COVER EDITION - AUGUST 2025 ISSUE Photographer: Mauricio Leandro - @leboarding / Press: @duo.strategy Dr. Magno Liberato, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, is recognized as one of the leading names in the specialty in Brazil. A reference in the treatment of bone, muscle, and joint diseases of the face, he handles highly complex cases ranging from orthognathic surgery and facial feminization to permanent facial prostheses. With a solid and multidisciplinary background, he brings experience from prestigious institutions such as the Brazilian Red Cross Hospital in São Paulo, the Felippu Institute of Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery, and the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital. He is also a specialist in disorders such as bruxism, headaches, snoring, and sleep apnea, combining technical precision with a humanized approach to transform his patients’ lives. Check out the exclusive interview: Did you know from the start that you would pursue oral and maxillofacial surgery, or was it a path that evolved over the course of your training? What first sparked that passion in you? It was a Tuesday, during my second year of college and the first class in surgery. I walked into the classroom, and the professor already had the first slide projected on the board with the name of the specialty and six photos of different surgeries. Right there, in that moment, I knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. It was love at first sight — something so complex and yet so transformative in a patient’s life (and in mine). What was the most challenging obstacle you faced on your path to establishing yourself as an oral and maxillofacial specialist — personally or professionally — and how did it shape you? A lot of studying. A lot. I understood, and still do, that the outcome of a surgery is my responsibility, and I must be as prepared as possible to meet the expectations of those who entrust their health to me. Is there a case — whether due to its technical complexity or emotional significance — that has deeply marked your career? What makes it unforgettable for you? The most complex cases are directly connected to patients who are emotionally shaken by their facial appearance or by functional issues caused by defects in that region. They arrive with great hope that everything will be resolved. And when we achieve what they long for, the tears of emotion appear — and that makes the moment truly unforgettable. Looking back, what is the greatest achievement in your career that makes you proud? And what remains your biggest dream within the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery? My greatest achievement is seeing my patients happy. Sometimes I receive messages like “look at this picture I took, I look so beautiful” or “I’ve never been breathing and sleeping so well.” That is the true achievement for me. And my dream is clear: to reach as many people as possible with the message that there is a solution for the problems they face. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be with me — but it needs to be addressed. How do you balance the precision required in the operating room with your emotional well-being? Is there any practice or habit outside of work that revitalizes you? It’s impossible for me to give my best to a patient if I’m not at my best. So I train every day, meditate, pray, and have a wonderful family and an amazing girlfriend who support me and help me be a better person. This way, I’m happier — and I bring that joy wherever I go. What message would you give to those who dream of pursuing this specialty, especially for those who still hesitate because of fear of the challenges? Fall in love with it. Before being technically skilled, before being a diligent student, you have to truly love it. Only when you feel this strong passion within yourself should you move forward. And this applies to anything in life. Outside the operating room, who is Dr. Magno? What values guide your personal life, and how do they reflect in the professional you are today? Magno is a fun, easygoing person who always seeks the best, both personally and professionally. My non-negotiable value is honesty. I cannot do what is wrong, and it’s not out of fear of judgment, but because of principles.

  • Brazilian Fernanda Lo Re reveals how living in Dubai transformed her style

Photo Disclosure Press Wherever she goes, Fernanda Lo Re carries a style that is both classic and strategically thought out. “I’ve always been deeply connected to fashion, but always respecting my own style,” she says. For her, dressing goes far beyond aesthetics — it’s about positioning, respecting the people you meet, and even protection. “Clothing communicates long before we say a single word,” she reflects. A fan of the high-low approach, she mixes accessible pieces with more sophisticated ones, translating the balance and personality that define her journey. Her perspective on fashion gained new layers when she moved to Dubai, a city she describes as a “crossroads of cultures” where elegance is almost an unspoken rule. “Here, even for a trip to the mall, your posture is different. Not necessarily wearing fully covered outfits, but always with more elegance. My classic style fit in naturally.” Before arriving in the United Arab Emirates, Fernanda lived in Singapore, where laid-back casual was the prevailing aesthetic. The move to Dubai redefined not only her wardrobe but also her concept of appropriateness and presence. Life in the Middle East also made her rethink her choices. Casual shoes like flip-flops, common in Singapore, gave way to more sophisticated models, often from luxury brands. “It’s a mindset shift that follows the pace and the proposition of the city,” she explains. While for many Dubai is synonymous with ostentation, for Fernanda, local luxury works as fuel. “The city seems to say: ‘You can get here too.’ It fuels dreams and mindset. Luxury is part of daily life and changes your perspective as an entrepreneur, as a woman, and as a human being.” This immersion in the capital of the luxury market brought her closer to the backstage of major brands. “Today, I understand how fashion houses build positioning and how that influences behavior worldwide. More than wearing a brand, it’s about understanding the value it communicates and how that can open doors.” When it comes to image, Fernanda is categorical: “My standards have completely changed. What used to feel enough no longer represents me. Living in Dubai has refined my vision. It’s not vanity, it’s strategy.” For her, fashion and business go hand in hand. “A good watch isn’t just an accessory — it shows how much your time is worth. It’s symbolic. People treat you differently when you convey value.” And even while immersed in Dubai’s refinement, the entrepreneur carries the lightness of Brazil in her heart. “From Brazil, I miss the smile, the spontaneity, the good humor. In the business world, warmth, empathy, and presence matter — a lot. Being elegant is also about being kind.”

  • Draw Clout – Fashion, community, and purpose in constant rhythm

Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro In a landscape where many brands speak loudly to be heard, Draw chooses subtlety. Founded in 2022 by Gabriel Lopes, the brand was born from a desire to express a lifestyle that blends aesthetics, movement and authenticity. From the very beginning, Draw did not aim to follow trends but to build a personal and timeless narrative. With inspirations ranging from the industrial charm of London’s SoHo to the vintage sports universe of the 2000s, Draw transforms lived experiences and memories into minimalist pieces with strong symbolic meaning. Each T-shirt, for example, carries some of the visual references and desires of the founder himself, who grew up watching football matches, Formula 1 races, and the Olympics. Photo: João Falcão - @falcao.ft Gabriel says he never tried to create something just to please the market. The idea has always been to dress, in an honest way, the way he sees the world. That truth in the process naturally created a connection with an audience that shares the same codes and values. Creative, urban youth, passionate about sports and drawn to pieces that speak softly but say a lot. Today, the brand's t-shirts are more than just basics. They are symbols of identity and belonging. Draw's aesthetic is clean, but nothing is left to chance. Every color, cut, or composition carries intention and purpose. According to Gabriel, the question that guides every new creation is simple: “Ten years from now, would I still wear this?” If the answer is yes, the piece makes it into the portfolio. Photo: João Falcão - @falcao.ft This pursuit of timelessness connects with another important aspect of the brand. Draw doesn’t just want to dress people. It wants to live alongside them. That is how the Fashion Run Club was born. A free running group that brings together people interested in wellness, performance, and lifestyle. The monthly meetups in Rio de Janeiro have already become part of the calendar for those who closely follow the brand. More than just an initiative, the FRC has become a movement. A gathering place for those who run, take care of themselves, and find inspiration. Gabriel shares that the idea for the running club came while he was designing a print. Reflecting on movement and the streets sparked the desire to create a real experience with the brand’s community. The result was an organic success that brought together fashion, health, and connection. Draw has grown from being just a brand to becoming a platform for meaningful relationships. Photo: João Falcão - @falcao.ft Even with operations exclusively online through its official website, Draw has been reaching audiences beyond Brazil. Its clear visual identity and well-crafted storytelling allow the brand to connect with people anywhere in the world. According to Gabriel, this happens because the codes that define Draw are universal for those who live with purpose, appreciate design, and value self-care. In August 2025, Draw celebrates three years of existence. The date will be marked by a special event that honors the brand’s journey, strengthens its connection with the community, and points toward the next steps. Among them are the expansion of the Fashion Run Club to other states and countries, the launch of the brand’s first collaboration, and the start of international shipping. Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro Interview with Gabriel Lopes: 1. Since the launch of Draw in 2022, the brand has stood out for its aesthetic that blends conceptual streetwear with a sporty lifestyle. How do you see the evolution of this visual identity over the past three years? To be honest, it happened very naturally. I always wanted the brand to reflect the way I live and, in some way, convey my visual references to people — even the material things I aim to achieve one day. I’ve always believed that this would create a genuine connection with people. Photo: João Falcão - @falcao.ft 2. Draw was born from very personal references such as London’s SoHo and vintage sports from the 2000s. How do these inspirations transform into product language without losing authenticity? Turning these inspirations into products is almost like a translation process. We always aim to capture the feeling and lifestyle behind those references. This even helps us when creating campaigns, as we try to convey the universe we are talking about to our community. Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro 3. The Fashion Run Club is a project that goes beyond fashion and connects with wellness, performance, and lifestyle. How did the idea of creating this community come about, and what impact do you feel it has on the relationship between the brand and its audience? The idea came at a time when we were looking for ways to bring Draw beyond e-commerce and take the brand to the streets. We wanted to get closer to the people who buy from us, and at the same time, create a space where they could connect with each other. It was during this period that I was designing a t-shirt print and suddenly realized that this could become exactly the movement I was looking for. That’s how the FRC was born, as a natural extension of the brand, combining fashion, lifestyle, performance, connection, and wellness. Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro 4. In times of visual overload, Draw embraces minimalism and timelessness. How do you approach the challenge of creating desire with pieces that, at first glance, seem understated? Being minimalist and timeless has always been our goal. One question we always ask ourselves when creating a piece is, “Would I still wear this t-shirt in 10 years?” If the answer is yes, we move forward. We believe desire is born from identification, belonging, and aesthetic clarity. That is the real challenge today, in a world where there is often an attempt to grab attention at any cost. Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro 5. Draw is a Brazilian brand with a global DNA. What is it like to think about design and communication that speak both to the local audience and to an international one? One thing we have noticed throughout our journey is that through our visual communication which carries strong references from the sports universe we have naturally managed to break out of the local bubble and reach people from different parts of the world. Approaching design and communication with this mindset challenges us to be authentic but also allows us to express ourselves in a way that anyone anywhere who shares the same visual codes and values can identify with. Photo: Yuri Pinheiro - @yupinheiro 6. With three years of journey and an increasingly engaged community, what is the next step for Draw? Are there plans for expansion, collaborations, or new creative territories? We are still very young. As I answer this interview, Draw hasn’t even completed three years yet. But definitely, our next steps are already well defined. Among them are continuing to grow our engaged community, expanding the FRC movement to other states and countries, broadening our product range, starting worldwide shipping, and without a doubt, launching our first collaboration.

  • After 7 years away from the runway, Chrysttal di Medêiros returns to pageants and turns pain into resilience

'MISS' COVER EDITION - AUGUST 2025 ISSUE Disclosure Press Chrysttal di Medêiros - Photographer: Rachel Mourão Model and actress Chrysttal di Medêiros is not just a beautiful face on the runway. Her journey is marked by achievements, silent struggles, and an inner strength that has made her an inspiration to many. In 2018, she earned the title of Miss Trans Universe in a pageant held in Italy, a moment that solidified her name in the international beauty scene. However, not long after, her life changed drastically. With the arrival of the Covid-19 pandemic, Chrysttal faced one of the most challenging periods of her life: a severe depression accompanied by intense anxiety attacks. While for many it was merely a time of isolation and fear, for her it became a true mental and emotional battlefield. Photographer: Rachel Mourão “I had anxiety attacks so intense that I had to go to the emergency room almost every day. And this was during the pandemic, when people were doing everything they could to avoid hospitals. My heart would race, I’d feel short of breath, like I was having a cardiac arrhythmia,” she recalls. The situation worsened to the point where Chrysttal was hospitalized for 11 days in a psychiatric facility, at a time when health restrictions prohibited visitors. Not even her husband was allowed to be by her side. “I couldn’t say my own name, didn’t recognize who I was. It was an emptiness I had never felt before.” Photographer: Rachel Mourão During treatment, the use of strong medications caused swelling, weight gain, and changes in her appearance, something that deeply affected her self-esteem. “I looked in the mirror and didn’t recognize myself. I felt ugly, bloated. It was a time when even extreme thoughts crossed my mind.” But it was precisely from that dark phase that a new version of her was born. This year, after seven years away from the runway, Chrysttal made a decision: to compete again. The goal wasn’t just to win a title, but to prove to herself that she was capable of facing her fears and overcoming her phobia of being around people again. “Returning to the catwalk was a turning point. I wanted to show myself that I could do it. Even though I didn’t win the crown this time, I felt like my soul had been cleansed and experienced an incredible sense of peace. Just being there was already a victory,” she says. Photographer: Victor Galvão For Chrysttal, this comeback meant far more than a crown. It was a symbol of her resilience, proof that, despite the setbacks, she never gave up on herself. Today, when she looks in the mirror, she sees a stronger, more confident woman, and above all, someone at peace with who she is. “What matters most is that I feel good on the inside. Beauty goes far beyond appearance. It’s about having the strength to rise and keep going. That’s what I want people to feel when they look at me.” Photographer: Victor Galvão Chrysttal di Medêiros’ return wasn’t just a fashion moment — it was a powerful testimony of resilience and inspiration. And for her, this is only the beginning of a new chapter — one that is lighter, more self-aware, and above all, happier. Photographer: Rachel Mourão

  • Drawn to Glinda: How Ariana Grande Brought Pink Beyond the Fairy Tale

Photos Disclosure Instagram Ariana The magical universe of Wicked goes far beyond the land of Oz. When the first part of the film adaptation finally hit theaters in 2024, it wasn’t just the story that captivated audiences — it was the visual language, the emotion, and most notably, the fashion transformation of Ariana Grande as Glinda. The singer and actress didn’t just play the Good Witch. She embodied her — through voice, style, presence, and a wardrobe that redefined modern femininity. Ariana’s Glinda is not just charming. She’s a living, breathing aesthetic. Pink with intention Even before being officially cast, Ariana was preparing herself. “I had a section of my closet just for pink tops… just in case I got the role of a lifetime,” she said in a recent interview. And she did. Pink, a color often seen as soft and sweet, takes on a new energy in Wicked. Under the hands of the film’s costume designer, and on Ariana’s body — it becomes armor, elegance, and silent strength. Glamour, in this version, is about nuance rather than exaggeration. A voice that became part of the look But the transformation wasn’t only physical. Ariana revealed that the high-pitched tone she crafted for Glinda has lingered in her voice off-screen. “Some things might not melt away. I’m really grateful for the parts of her that will stay with me forever.” Her whispery, angelic tone became part of Glinda’s charm — a softness that still holds power. In fashion terms, it’s like wearing silk that commands a room without shouting. A detail that becomes signature. Fashion through full immersion To fully embrace Glinda, Ariana paused her music career. “I gave it everything. I paused everything else. I really wanted this. I think if I hadn’t done that, I might’ve ended up in a mental hospital,” she confessed. This level of emotional commitment translated to her costumes. The looks are more than beautiful, they carry weight. Layers of tulle, organza, crystal embroidery, and structured silhouettes speak of lightness, perfection, and the pressure of being seen as “good.” Glinda is about connection In another interview, Ariana shared something deeply personal. “What resonates with me most in Glinda is her desire to constantly improve… it feels a bit like my relationship with my fans over the years.” Glinda isn’t just a role. She’s a bridge. A reflection of vulnerability, growth, and connection, and there is nothing more fashionable than authenticity. Editorial moodboard: when fashion feels like magic With Wicked: Part Two set for release in November 2025, the visual influence of the saga is far from over. We can already feel it, in upcoming collections, beauty campaigns, and moodboards whispering of magic. Think pastel pinks, romantic volumes, soft sparkle, and a theatrical femininity. It’s about floating rather than forcing. Like Ariana showed us, style can be subtle and still unforgettable.

Reader, get ready: the stars are calling for courage, clarity, and care for the heart. The Sun in Leo lights up our self-confidence and desire to shine. Venus enters Cancer, awakening the need for emotional nourishment and secure connections. Meanwhile, Mars continues its path through Virgo, bringing focused action and discipline — a cosmic invitation to balance beauty with purpose. Mercury retrograde in Cancer may stir confusion in emotions and communication. Breathe, reflect, and revise before reacting. As the Moon moves from Libra to Capricorn, it guides us from a search for harmony to the construction of something solid. Astrological transits this week ● The Jupiter–Venus conjunction in Gemini, active from July 26 to August 21, favors love and prosperity, especially for Gemini, Libra, Leo, Virgo, Pisces, and Taurus. ● Mercury retrograde in Leo, until August 11, brings a risk of misunderstandings — particularly in matters of communication and decision-making for Leo. ● Mars in Virgo (July 29 to September 13) calls for discipline, attention to detail, and practical action. ● Saturn in Pisces asks for emotional review, boundary adjustments, and patience with inner processes. ● Chiron retrograde in Aries (until January), alongside Venus in Cancer, promotes emotional healing and a reconnection with inner sensitivity. This week brings a blend of opportunity, healing, and challenge. The creative power of the Venus–Jupiter conjunction helps positive cards bloom, while the retrogrades and stricter alignments demand patience, clarity, and consistency. For many signs, it’s a moment to plant carefully — whether it’s an idea, a relationship, or an inner transformation — and to harvest later. The energy of Temperance and The Empress is present, reminding us to focus on balance and conscious love. Aries   It’s time to take the lead with courage, but also with emotional wisdom. With Mercury retrograde in Leo and Venus in Cancer, you're invited to reflect on how you've been expressing yourself and to reconnect with your emotions before taking action. This week supports decisions that blend strength with sensitivity. Take the reins of your world, but keep your heart present. Tip:  Give yourself a body scrub with coarse salt and rosemary essential oil. Renew yourself to move forward with greater awareness. Taurus Nothing blooms without dedication, and this week Saturn reinforces that truth. It's time to put love into the details — whether in your work or in the development of one of your talents. Rewards will come through consistency and care. Your beauty lies in doing the simple things with excellence, and right now, that shines brighter than ever. Tip : Nourishing hair mask and a calm playlist. Beauty begins with the time you give yourself. Gemini Your mind is vibrant and full of ideas, Gemini. With the blessing of the Jupiter–Venus conjunction, everything you communicate has the power to touch and transform. Take this opportunity to speak your dreams out loud and bring your plans to life. Clarity, inspiration, and emotional intelligence intertwine, opening fertile paths ahead. Tip:  Hydrate your lips and try a bold new lipstick—your voice deserves to shine with color. Cancer You are at a point of transition. Something old is asking to be released, and Venus in your sign embraces this process with tenderness. There is beauty in surrender and relief in letting go. By releasing what weighs you down, you open yourself to new emotional beginnings. It's a time of deep healing — like a hug from your soul to itself. Tip:  Take a warm bath with chamomile and flower petals. Let the water wash away the pain and make room for the new. Leo With the Sun shining in your sign, you're at the center of attention — but now with a deeper desire for security and balance. There's a longing to celebrate, yet also to nurture what truly matters. Your light doesn’t have to be just a spectacle; it can also be home, love, presence. Express yourself, but don’t forget where your roots come from. Tip:  Go for makeup with shimmer or gold tones and deeply hydrate your skin. This is your time to reign. Virgo A new energy arises and calls for movement. Mars in Libra drives initiatives related to finances and partnerships. Creative ideas emerge, and you can act with intelligence and aesthetic sense. This week is one of recognition and reward, both in love and personal projects. Allow yourself to celebrate your victories with gratitude. Your journey has been intuitive and true to your heart. The Universe now returns your efforts with generosity and silent applause. Tip:  Take a bath with sugar and lavender to celebrate the sweetness of your dedication. Look at yourself in the mirror with pride.

  • “Rare” by Selena Gomez: A Fragrance That Speaks from the Inside Out

Photos Disclosure Rare Beauty In the beauty world, few names resonate with as much authenticity as Selena Gomez. Founder of Rare Beauty, multitalented artist, and a symbol of courageous vulnerability, Selena has just taken a new olfactory step with the launch of Rare Eau de Parfum — the brand’s first fragrance, born with a higher purpose: to touch the soul before it even touches the skin. “I wanted to create something that felt warm and comforting, but also unexpected. I love the balance between sweet and spicy, and the ginger adds a bold touch,” Selena shared, revealing part of the sensory vision behind the composition. With notes of bergamot, Egyptian jasmine, patchouli, vanilla, and musk, the new fragrance breaks away from the expected and embraces the idea that being rare doesn’t mean being perfect — it means being real. That’s why, beyond its striking olfactory identity, the bottle itself becomes a statement of accessibility. “I thought about people like me who have dexterity issues. Sometimes it’s even hard to open a water bottle. So we created a bottle with a large sprayer where you can rest all your fingers. It was developed with hand therapists — and anyone can use it, it’s really comfortable and functional,” she revealed. It’s not just about design — it’s about inclusion. The bottle features no removable caps and is shaped with ergonomic lines to make it easier to use for those with limited mobility — something the founder herself understands intimately, having lived with lupus. “I’m alive, and that’s what matters. It’s not as sad as it sounds,” she says with a soft smile, echoing the brand’s core philosophy: beauty with purpose, not perfection. Launched globally in July and arriving at Sephora in August, Rare Eau de Parfum has already been described by consumers and influencers as “a sophisticated hug” or even “a scent that feels like someone who loves you is near.” It’s a fragrance with a soul — and that’s what makes it truly rare. “It was essential for me that the bottle be easy to hold and apply. I know how frustrating it can be when a product looks beautiful but is hard to use. We went through several prototypes to get this just right,” Selena said, reaffirming that every detail carries intention. In a saturated landscape of celebrity fragrances, Selena Gomez delivers something that goes far beyond marketing. Rare Eau de Parfum is about feeling good, with yourself, in your body, in your own time. Because, as she herself once sang: “You don’t have to be like everybody else…”
