- Meet Good Girl Blush by Carolina Herrera
photos promotion Carolina Herrera Carolina Herrera continues a flourishing exploration of contemporary femininity with the release of Good Girl Blush Eau de Parfum, a bold explosion of contrasts that forms a unique expression of floral femininity. This new chapter in the Good Girl story is an exciting counterpoint between the energy and blunt power of two different extractions of a sensual vanilla base with the pastel romance of a Peony note, at the center of which are two distinct uses of a bright and radiant Ylang Ylang. The brilliant beauty Karlie Kloss returns as the embodiment of Good Girl and all that she represents. In a specially designed pink dress for the campaign, her radiant energy and mischievous smile delicately reveal the contrasts of Good Girl Blush and its sustainably sourced ingredients. The central principle of the Good Girl personality is a spirit of duality. An olfactory expression of the inner universe contained in every woman, it is about her ability to be both sensual and strong, instinctive and intelligent, romantic and empowered. For this new edition, perfumer Quentin Bisch worked with his colleagues Shyamala Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud, finding instant visual inspiration in Good Girl's iconic stiletto bottle, which is interpreted in pastel pink with a dynamic golden heel: "It instantly brought to mind the vanilla bean. The heel is the strength of the shoe, and I imagined the vanilla as the strength of the fragrance." Using different extractions of the same ingredient was a clever way to deepen the Good Girl story. The perfumers not only created a sunny burst of fragrance by contrasting the ingredients with each other, but also found a way to create complementary notes within each ingredient. "We were already working with the gourmand side of vanilla in previous incarnations of Good Girl, so using an additional powder extraction was the ideal way to articulate a blush," says Quentin Bisch. When it comes to Ylang Ylang, "we had the luminosity of the flower petal itself and, by using an additional absolute, we were able to play with the deeper, narcotic and sensual side of this seductive flower." To create the petal effect that Peony brings to the voluminous floral bouquet of Good Girl Blush, the perfumers worked with scientific molecules mixed with recycled rose water. Remaining true to the natural Peony scent, this technique allows its note in the fragrance to reach its full blooming potential while also strengthening the long-lasting effect on the skin. The symbiotic game between facets becomes a dance between ingredients and, for perfumers, Ylang Ylang as the other flower at the heart of the fragrance was a natural progression from the white jasmine that played such an important role in the original Good Girl. All of the fragrances in the Good Girl line present an explosively empowered femininity in the form of the stiletto that can shatter glass with its absolute strength, and in the world of perfume, white Ylang Ylang is considered the exotic sister of the jasmine flower. Seductively sunny with some spicy facets, it evokes distant journeys and escapist fantasies: a luminous and radiant reinvention of Good Girl. It is a timely reminder not only of the distance these precious ingredients travel to be transformed into perfume, but also of the experience of local producers, who in the case of vanilla and Ylang Ylang in Good Girl Blush, come from Madagascar and the Comoros Islands, in Africa. For this fully vegan formula, Carolina Herrera partnered with leaders in the perfume industry, Givaudan, and their sustainability program, Sourcing4Good. A foundation whose actions have a direct impact on the workers who provide the ingredients, it is a joint effort whose investment in resources and extraction processes brings a fragrance like Good Girl Blush to life. - Sabrina Sato and Mom Kika - Havaianas launches Mother's Day campaign
PROMOTION HAVAIANAS Being a mother is a task that requires a lot of strength and unconditional love, and no one knows this better than the brand Havaianas. To celebrate Mother's Day, the brand called on muses Sabrina Sato and her mother, Dona Kika Sato, to star in their new campaign. And they couldn't have chosen a better duo to represent all mothers who love to be well-dressed and comfortable at the same time. With a radiant smile and lots of attitude, Sabrina and Dona Kika show that Havaianas is the right choice for any occasion. The campaign, which will be featured on the brand's digital channels, seeks to bring all the essence and connection of the two muses to show that Havaianas is the best option to give as a gift to mothers who love comfort, style, and sophistication. "We are loving having Sabrina as the muse of Havaianas and seeing her provide the same feeling for her mother, in such a light and fun way, especially on such a special occasion! For the campaign, we prepared a shooting with the duo and brought the products that we believe are the perfect options to please mothers who love to dress well and don't give up comfort and style, just like Dona Kika. She is already part of our 'by proxy' squad and has incorporated the role of Havaianas muse very well. Sabrina, watch out!" comments Mariana Rhormens, Marketing Director of Havaianas Brazil. For Sabrina, the opportunity to share this special moment with her mother was an incredible experience. "My mother has always been one of my biggest supporters and encouraged me to pursue all my dreams, even when they were different from what many expected. There is no greater pride than seeing her as a muse for Havaianas, a brand that symbolizes our Brazil, on such a special day for us. It was a wonderful gift for one of the most inspiring women I know! And she rocked it! She delivered style, modernity, and sophistication in the campaign, very chic!" And Dona Kika couldn't be happier with the result. "I had already asked Sa for this Mother's Day gift, to become a Havaianas muse. And they agreed! I feel honored to participate in this campaign with my daughter for a brand that I am a fan of and is part of my daily life. Have you ever seen a Japanese person not love sandals?" she jokes. With this campaign, Havaianas reinforces its commitment to offer products that not only are comfortable, but also make mothers feel powerful and confident. After all, being a mother is a tough task, but it's also one of the greatest joys in life. - Bia Ben: The trajectory of the young carioca who became a successful digital influencer
Promotional photo Instagram @ imbiaben At 20 years old, Bia Ben became a successful digital influencer after going viral on social media. With over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and 33.4 million likes on TikTok, Bia shares her daily life and routine with her son Benjamin, who has already started working with significant brands in the feminine and children's beauty industry alongside his mother. But Bia's journey to success began after a difficult moment in her life. When she was 17, her husband Samuel was brutally murdered in Rio de Janeiro, leaving her alone with their still-infant son, who was only three months old at the time. She fell into a deep depression, but found the strength to carry on in God and her son. Today, the influencer has already partnered with important brands and is being considered for possible roles on television. Bia Ben shows a real life and encourages female empowerment on her social media, leaving an important legacy for her followers. We, from Hooks International Magazine, came to Brazil for an exclusive interview with the artist, check it out now: 1- Currently, you have over three million followers on social media. How do you feel about the sudden fame you have achieved? I feel very grateful and very happy. I know that it is something that God already had for my life, so I know that what I have achieved is mine and what I am going to achieve is very big. And do you believe that I don't consider myself a famous person? Actually, I consider myself a known person in some places. I believe that with the work I am doing, one day I will get there. And fame itself doesn't interest me that much, what matters is the message and legacy that I will leave, through my postures and actions. But I feel very grateful and happy, not only for my followers, but also for my mother, who raised me as a person, because it is my essence that makes me conquer everything I have achieved. 2- How was dealing with the loss of your husband and how did it influence your trajectory as an artist? When Samuel died, I was 17 and we were about to get married, the papers were already at the registry. It was a huge shock because I had Benjamin, who was only 3 months old. I saw myself alone at that moment. When I was 6, my father was also murdered. It was like a trigger that brought all that pain over his loss again. In a way, I entered a bubble and became very sad and upset about everything that had happened. I have a very strong connection to the spiritual world, and I remember that God spoke to me at that moment. And around me, when God spoke to me that it was time for me to stop suffering. I remember when I was 12, I participated in a talent show and won singing "Feeling Good" by Nina Simone. I had to say what I would like to be when I grew up and I said I wanted to be as big as Oprah Winfrey. It was in that moment of great sadness that God spoke that I needed to rise because my moment of pain was over and that I would be the next Oprah. That was when I got up and realized everything I could achieve through the essence that God had placed in me. The loss of Samuel was very heavy, it was very difficult to bear, but in a way, it matured me a lot. 3- How do you balance motherhood and your career as a digital influencer? From the beginning, I always had Benjamin with me in my videos, and actually, my career as a digital influencer is not something I created separate from my life. My career as a digital influencer is my life, you know? What I show on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and all my social media is what I live, it's my evolution. For example, I was a girl who lived in the favela, didn't have money, was very poor and sometimes didn't have anything to eat. Today, I see that I have had immense growth compared to what I used to live. So, that's what I show on social media: my life, my evolution, and my growth. I am happy because there is still a lot to come. So, I will continue sharing my journey, dragging these people along, because they identify with me and have me as a reference. When they look at me, they think: "if Bia could do it, then I can do it too." 4- We, as fashion magazine, need to ask you: How do you see fashion and the role of social media in its influence on the female audience? Fashion fascinates me. I like that very personal fashion, when someone creates something because it's very much them, and in my opinion, it looks really good. I like fashion because it brings you various aspects, and the clothes say a lot about us, so I know that through my look, I can express who I am. Recently, I've been able to imprint a bit more of my identity on my style, and I'm very happy about it because I realize that I influence people. Currently, I have a more street style, I like loose-fitting clothes, low-waisted, and I enjoy a more 2000s vibe. And I like those clothes that are so wonderful because they're simple and they highlight what you have best. 5- How do you choose the brands you work with, and what are your criteria for that? So, whenever I have to choose brands to work with, there are brands that we already like, that we've heard of, that we already know. And there are new brands that introduce themselves, and we study the entire brand strategy, all the content, the entire proposal that the brand conveys and its idea. My criterion is quite basic: if that brand aligns with what I have as an ideal for my life, then great, I'll do it. For example, if it's a hair brand that's related to my hair, I have this issue of testing the products beforehand because I like selling the truth, and I like being sure of what I'm passing on to my followers because I believe that the truth is what matters. My criterion is that if that brand pleased me, I believe it will please the people who are following me. 6- What are your tips for other mothers who want to start a business on the internet? The first point is that yes, you can start a business on the internet, and you can grow a lot. I think the biggest tip I can give to anyone who wants to start a business on the internet is: be yourself and have your essence. Because a person's essence makes them stand out from others, because if you follow a formula, you end up being like everyone else. So you need to know what your essence is, what you have to show that is good, unique, personal, I think that's what captures the audience. And in this question of being a mother and starting a business, I confess it's not easy because sometimes we feel absent from our children, but the main thing you can do to have a good relationship with your child and make them understand everything you're going through is to involve them. For example, I talk to Benjamin a lot. So I think it's in that sense, you have to have your essence to show people that you need to stand out by being unique, and including your child in your work. Don't suffer alone and try to save money because they won't understand and think you're the culprit. So if you go through a crisis, explain to them: "look son, now we're going through difficulties, so mommy won't be able to buy such and such a thing," and he will become much more your friend and partner. 7- How do you deal with haters and negative criticism on social media? I think I never uplifted a hater, I never gave much confidence, because there are criticisms that are constructive, and these criticisms I normally receive from people who are close to me, who really know me, know my negative and positive points. So, usually, when I receive criticism, it's from my mother, from people who work with me. People who only follow me on the internet don't know anything about me and there are things they say that I can't take as truth. We tend to focus more on the negative, but I have evolved a lot, and whenever I have something good that I know how to do, I invest in it, and I improve my flaws daily. But never invest in what's bad in you, invest in what you think is good, that makes you soar. 8- How do you choose the clothes you wear in your social media posts? Actually, I don't make choices, everything I do on my social media is spontaneous and very natural. But it can happen to create some script, but normally I have a creativity that is very fast, and I already execute it. 9- What can your fans expect from you in the near future? I definitely want to sing, I'm working on it, but there are many things I want to do like acting and presenting, so these are paths that we are building until they become closer to living. I'm very happy because I realize that I'm in constant evolution, and that's important. I confess that evolving is not easy, because evolution is change and it's much easier for humans to stay in comfort. My life is not comfortable, because all the time I'm taking risks and putting maybe things that bring me stability at stake, but I always think positive. One of the things that helps me a lot is to put a lot of good energy into everything I do, so I believe I have many things I can do and I consider myself a person of multiple talents. I'm always open to listening to advice from elders, and in the end, I realize that I can grow and evolve. 10- Finally, I would like you to leave an inspiring message or quote for our audience, something that you consider important to highlight. Everyone, thank you very much for your participation. I was very happy, and for those of you who are reading this, I want to say that YES, everything you dream and build can happen. You just have to believe in yourself, believe in your essence. And you know, at the moment when I was the saddest in my life, at rock bottom, thinking my life was going to end there, I had God's support. He said I could do it and put something in me that was unique. And that's it, everyone has something inside them that is unique because we are all so different, and your essence is just yours, and that's what will make you grow and stand out. So believe in yourself, believe in your ability. If you don't know, learn, always try to evolve all the time, because that's what life is, evolving until the day we die. And I feel very happy with everything I've managed to achieve, and I know that you can achieve whatever you want. So believe in yourself, be yourself, don't change for anyone, and when people say no to you, say yes to yourself. A kiss on your hearts.

- Meet Good Girl Blush by Carolina Herrera
Photos disclosure Carolina Herrera Carolina Herrera continues a flourishing exploration of contemporary femininity with the launch of Good Girl Blush Eau de Parfum, a bold explosion of contrasts that forms a unique expression of floral femininity. This new chapter in the Good Girl story is an exciting counterpoint between the energy and blunt power of two different extractions of a sensual vanilla base and the pastel romance of a peony note, at the center of which are two distinct uses of a bright and radiant ylang-ylang. The radiant beauty Karlie Kloss returns as the embodiment of Good Girl and all that she represents. In a specially designed pink dress for the campaign, her radiant energy and mischievous smile delicately reveal the contrasts of Good Girl Blush and its sustainably sourced ingredients. The central principle of the Good Girl personality is a spirit of duality. An olfactory expression of the inner universe contained in every woman, it is her ability to be both sensual and strong, instinctive and intelligent, romantic and empowered. For this new edition, perfumer Quentin Bisch worked with his colleagues Shyamala Maisondieu and Christophe Raynaud, finding instant visual inspiration in Good Girl's iconic stiletto bottle, which is interpreted in pastel pink with a dynamic golden heel: "It instantly brought to mind the vanilla pod. The heel is the strength of the shoe, and I imagined vanilla as the strength of the fragrance." Using different extractions of the same ingredient was an ingenious way to deepen the Good Girl story. The perfumers not only created a sunny explosion of fragrance by contrasting the ingredients with each other but also found a way to create complementary notes within each ingredient. "We were already working with the gourmand side of vanilla in previous incarnations of Good Girl, so using an additional powder extraction was the ideal way to articulate a blush," says Quentin Bisch. When it comes to Ylang Ylang, "we had the brightness of the flower petal itself and, using an additional absolute, we were able to play with the deeper, narcotic, and sensual side of this seductive flower." To create the petal effect that Peony brings to the voluminous floral bouquet of Good Girl Blush, the perfumers worked with scientific molecules mixed with recycled rose water. Remaining true to the natural scent of Peony, this technique allows its note in the fragrance to reach its full blooming potential while also strengthening the long-lasting durability on the skin. The symbiotic game between facets becomes a dance between ingredients and, for perfumers, Ylang Ylang as the other flower in the heart of the fragrance was a natural progression from the white jasmine that played such an important role in the original Good Girl. All fragrances in the Good Girl line feature explosively empowered femininity in the form of the stiletto that can break glass with its absolute strength, and in the world of perfume, white Ylang Ylang is considered the exotic sister of the jasmine flower. Seductively sunny with some spicy facets, it evokes distant journeys and escapist fantasies: a luminous and radiant reinvention of Good Girl. It is a timely reminder not only of the distance these precious ingredients travel to be transformed into perfume but also of the experience of local producers, who in the case of Good Girl Blush's vanilla and Ylang Ylang, come from Madagascar and the Comoros Islands in Africa. For this fully vegan formula, Carolina Herrera partnered with perfume industry leaders Givaudan and their sustainability program, Sourcing4Good. A foundation whose actions have a direct impact on the workers who provide the ingredients, it is a joint effort whose investment in extraction resources and processes brings a fragrance like Good Girl Blush to life. In his mother's studio, he grew up seeing many fabrics, patterns, and threads, and thus Laéllyo became interested in and created material that could offer comfort, style, and beauty. This is how LM Store was born, a brand that has already dressed personalities such as Xuxa, Joelma, Neymar, Marcus Magela, Anitta, Solange Almeida, among others. The entrepreneur shares some news: he and his team are preparing a big surprise for their admirers. The LM Store physical store will be inaugurated in the first semester of 2023. In an interview, he reveals that LM Store was created and developed based on his own dissatisfaction with clothes and all the support he received from his mother. Customers who choose LM Store clothing are looking for comfort, style, and quality, which brings him joy and motivation. With his style, he expresses his personality. His looks serve as inspiration for many people. He emphasizes that feeling comfortable with clothing is of great importance. In addition to good taste, he values quality in his pieces. He makes it clear that, at LM Store, the public will easily choose the most beautiful pieces of clothing, as well as accessories. We had the opportunity to learn more about this authentic man and LM Store, which is already a success. Come with us! 01 - If someone were to describe you, what do you think they would say about you? "Laéllyo is a hardworking man who believes deeply in his dreams and has always had a lot of faith in God. He strives every day to achieve his goals and bring some happiness to the lives of others. He is someone who fulfills his life purpose and enjoys sharing his story to help/inspire many people." 02 - From your Instagram, it's clear that you're very focused on fashion. Was it your interest in fashion that led you to create your brand, LM Store? Tell us more about this business. "My mother is an exceptional seamstress, so I believe my love for sewing came even while I was in her womb. I grew up witnessing my mother sewing in her atelier, watching her develop and create clothes, and I fell in love and became enchanted with it all. Thus, I had the best inspiration I could have, and the love for fashion was born. Through my designs, I seek to convey important elements such as self-esteem, confidence, and personality." 03 - Did you always have this desire to have your own brand? What were your inspirations? "It's an old desire. I realized that, to buy my own clothes, I would go to stores and never find something that I truly liked or that was my size. It was hard to find pieces for someone who weighed 150 kg. So, when I went to buy clothes, there simply weren't any, or there were very generic pieces and nothing stylish. Then, I noticed an excellent opportunity since my mother had the atelier. I decided to develop clothes that I like, stylish clothes, and since then the pieces have enchanted the public even more, who has good taste and values quality. And I am happy to say that the store will feature exclusive clothes and accessories, with the quality that everyone already knows." 04 - Laellyo, you are very stylish. How does it feel to know that you are a style reference? "I feel very happy. Knowing that I am a reference for many Brazilians is rewarding, it gives me the happiness to work every day and want to do my best so that my style and brand reach more and more people. Today, thank God, the fashion world understands that we are plural people and offers a diversity of clothes for people of all body types, but it wasn't always like this in the past." 05 - Did you ever dream that you could go so far? "I always aspired to be recognized and noticed for my work. So, I can say that I have already achieved that dream and I feel very blessed. Being able to see my brand being used by so many people and celebrities is the realization of a dream!! There was always a lot of work and love involved. Opening the physical store is the realization of a dream and also a desire of many followers and admirers of my work. They saw the creations on artists and asked me when the pieces would be available for sale. So, I entered a phase of analyzing the market, studying more about branding, marketing, and management to create not only a product, not only a store, but THE store, and I succeeded." 06 - In your journey, what are you most proud of? "I have dressed great names from the media and feel a lot of gratitude for each artist who is impressed with my art, who compliments me, who not only wears but also orders pieces for others. For me, it is a sign that I am on the right path and will always continue moving forward, validating the gift I received from God. I am also proud to be a guy from the interior of Piauí and to have achieved so many accomplishments and recognition not only in Brazil but also around the world with my t-shirts, my art." 07 - Regarding LM Store, what plans/projects/ambitions could you reveal to us? "This year the store's opening will take place, still in the first semester of 2023. I can already guarantee that everything, absolutely everything, is amazing!! Through clothing, you can express each person's identity, that is, personality can be expressed. I can also reveal that there will be perfume launches and several other products to add even more value to the brand. Everything was planned with a lot of dedication and love so that customers can feel more authentic and joyful." 08 - Last question, but not least important: If you could display a message on a billboard, what would it be? "Thank you! I am only grateful to God, family, and friends. I am grateful to all who believed and also to those who did not believe in me, because it strengthened me so that I never thought about giving up on my dreams."
- Prada introduces Prada Paradoxe, the new refillable feminine fragrance.
The amber floral fragrance features natural ingredients with a refillable packaging and has Emma Watson as its ambassador. Photos released by FSB Comunicação Capturing the elusive and constantly evolving essence of multidimensional and paradoxical women, Prada Beauty presents Prada Paradoxe Eau de Parfum, its new refillable amber floral fragrance that celebrates the multidimensionality of women and their constantly evolving expression. Symbolizing the woman who is never the same while remaining unapologetically herself, Paradoxe has British actress and activist Emma Watson as its ambassador. Belonging to the amber floral olfactory family, the novelty embraces the enigmatic facets of iconic ingredients, such as Ambrofix™, typically used in men's perfumes, to reveal new sensorial experiences. True to the creative spirit of the brand and under the creative direction of Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, the fragrance was created by Givaudan's master perfumers Nadège Le Garlantezec, Shyamala Maisondieu, and Antoine Maisondieu to reconcile timelessness and avant-garde, nature and innovation. Paradoxe features a timeless floral fragrance of a bouquet of white flowers intertwined with an avant-garde olfactory signature of Ambrofix™, typically used in men's perfumes, and Serenolide™, a new and revolutionary musk molecule that redefines intensity by creating an intense and immediately perceptible trail. Composed of three distinctive and sustainable origin notes: Moroccan neroli bud essence, vanilla infusion, and Calabrian bergamot heart, Paradoxe also features a new multi-stage bioconversion process for the development of Ambrofix™, allowing amber to be naturally derived from sugarcane instead of sage, requiring 100 times less agricultural land than traditional means of extraction. Top notes: Calabrian bergamot heart, mandarin essence and pear accord. Heart notes: Moroccan neroli bud essence, Tunisian orange blossom and sambac jasmine. Base notes: Amber accord (Ambrofix™), Laos Benzoin Resinoid, premium bourbon vanilla infusion from Madagascar, white musk accord (Serenolide™). The refillable Paradoxe bottle reinvents the brand's most iconic code: its triangular logo. Revolutionizing traditional perfume bottle architecture, and encapsulating Prada's codes of sophistication and avant-garde with a touch of eccentricity, the Paradoxe bottle is designed to stand on its side. Minimalist and elegant, yet powerfully familiar, the bottle's triangular design is softened by rounded angles, while the delicate coral pink of the fragrance juice contrasts with the black cap and the Prada crest printed on the glass. In addition, each Paradoxe box features a QR code, in the shape of the brand logo, inviting consumers to explore more about the brand and fragrance through augmented reality, filters and behind-the-scenes content. Going beyond beauty, Paradoxe features an innovative, easy, and clean refill system that does not require a funnel. First, the spray valve can be easily removed, and then the 100ml refill is connected to any size bottle of the fragrance, starting the 100% automatic refill process without losing a drop of the perfume. Reinforcing the brand's commitment to sustainability, both the fragrance bottle and the refill bottle, as well as the packaging of Paradoxe, are recyclable, and the box also has the FSC™ MIX certification, attesting that 70% of the raw materials used in the packaging come from FSC-certified forests, and 30% from controlled sources of wood. Compared to the use of three 50ml spray bottles of the fragrance, the 50ml spray and its 100ml refill bottle together help avoid the use of 40% less materials in total, including a 39% reduction in the use of cardboard, a 29% decrease in the use of glass, 46% less plastic, and a 67% reduction in the use of metals. Paradoxe Eau de Parfum, from Prada Beauty, is available in four sizes, 10ml (limited edition), 30ml, 50ml, 90ml, with suggested prices of $39.88, $89.50, $344.98, and $167.94, respectively. The 100ml fragrance refill has a suggested price of $149.90. Please note that these prices are converted from Brazilian Real to US Dollars using an exchange rate of R$4.99 per 1 dollar, and do not include any taxes or additional fees that may apply. @pradabeauty#PradaParadoxe #PradaBeauty #PradaFragrances #NeverTheSameAlwaysMyself
- Why should you watch "Queen Charlotte - A Bridgerton Story"?
Check out the review from our director Matheus Hooks. Internet promotion photos - Instagram "Queen Charlotte - A Bridgerton Story" is a prequel that manages to surprise by bringing familiar elements and at the same time innovating in terms of story and message. As the director of the magazine, I can affirm that this series, created by Shonda Rhimes and based on the books by Julia Quinn, is a true delight for fans of the first season of Bridgerton. The plot brings everything that made the original series successful: handsome shirtless men, palace intrigues, complex romances, and sexy scenes that will surely make the audience sigh. But in addition to that, "Queen Charlotte" presents us with a touch of reality and social criticism that makes all the difference. This makes the series not only a work of entertainment, but also a reflection on issues that still accompany us today. The main character, played by Golda Rosheuvel, returns to tell her story of struggle for the lineage, since none of her thirteen children have heirs. This is a dilemma that certainly many monarchs faced in the past, and it shows the tension between the responsibilities of power and the personal life of the nobles. "Queen Charlotte" is also a sequel to the second season of Bridgerton, and its six episodes introduce us to the origin of Charlotte, a young German aristocrat played with charisma by actress India Amarteifio. Charlotte is brought to the court of King George III, played by Corey Mylchreest, to marry him without ever having seen him before. What Charlotte doesn't know is that the king has dark secrets that could threaten her future. The characters in the series are based on real historical figures. King George III ruled the United Kingdom between 1760 and 1820, making him the monarch who spent the most time in power in the country. Charlotte, supposedly a descendant of Afonso III, king of Portugal, and his mistress Madragana, is portrayed in the series as possibly being biracial, which brings up important issues about representation and inclusion. Ultimately, "Queen Charlotte" is a prequel that, despite some initial expectations, manages to remain relevant and surprise the audience. It is a story of love, power struggle, and social criticism that will certainly please fans of the original series and attract new admirers. It is great to see that the subsequent stories of "Bridgerton" have exceeded expectations and delivered even more than expected. The series "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" is a brilliant example of quality production, with exciting scenes and a narrative that addresses important themes such as feminism and racism. It is impressive how the series manages to bring up complex and relevant topics in a story about the English crown. Watching "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" is an exciting experience that is best enjoyed with headphones or in a quiet environment. The soundtrack is especially striking and helps intensify the emotions felt throughout the series. It's worth highlighting the two most touching scenes: 1 - The King and Queen's dance in the sixth episode. The way Charlotte encourages her husband to overcome his fears and dance before the people is a powerful and emotional moment that brought me to tears. 2 - The scene at the end of the season where she talks to the old and confused king in his own head. Especially in this part, I was already crying a lot because I had thought he was dead, and when I saw her talking to him, just like she did when she was young, it was one of the most beautiful moments. It is undeniable that "Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story" is one of the most beautiful and emotional series I have watched in 2023. I congratulate everyone involved in the production for their excellent work in bringing this wonderful story to life in such an engaging and impactful way. Highly recommended for all those seeking a truly emotional and inspiring viewing experience.
