DLK Modas Reinforces Its Commitment to Employees’ Mental Health During Yellow September

Yellow September, a campaign dedicated to suicide prevention and valuing life, reinforces the importance of comprehensive mental health care both inside and outside the corporate environment. Attentive to this context, DLK Modas, a fitness fashion reference based in Nova Friburgo, in the mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, has been adopting practical measures that place employee well-being at the heart of the company’s strategy.

Recently, the brand implemented a new work schedule model in the Shipping and Stock departments, areas that underwent logistical and location changes. To ease the impact of commuting and provide greater balance between personal and professional life, the teams now follow a reduced weekly workload. From Monday to Thursday, hours run from 7 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., with a lunch break, and on Fridays the workday ends at 1 p.m. In practice, this adjustment represents four hours less compared to the traditional 44-hour workweek.

“More than just a change in schedule, this initiative reflects our attentive focus on the well-being of our teams. We want our employees to find in DLK not only a workplace, but also a space for care, balance, and growth,” highlights the company’s management.

Another key pillar is the promotion of healthy habits. DLK maintains partnerships with local gyms, offering employees exclusive discounts. Physical exercise is globally recognized as an essential factor in maintaining mental health, as it helps reduce stress, improve mood, and increase energy levels.

In addition, the company invests in the development of managers, who receive guidance to foster a healthy and welcoming work environment, encouraging dialogue and cooperation among teams. The Human Resources department also plays a close and ongoing role, listening to feedback, strengthening communication between departments, and implementing continuous improvements in the internal routine.

This September, DLK is also taking this commitment beyond its walls through a special awareness project on social media. The campaign highlights the importance of valuing life and mental health, encouraging open dialogue and the search for support in difficult times. In this way, the company expands its social role, impacting not only its employees but also its clients and the digital community that follows the brand.

For DLK Modas, mental health is a theme that goes beyond a one-off campaign: it is a permanent commitment. “We believe that caring for people is the best way to build a solid company that is prepared for the future,” concludes the management.
