Adrian Appiolaza presented his debut collection for Moschino today in Milan. "What l've already learned from [Franco Moschino] is that clothing is meant to be played with," said the Argentinian designer ahead of the show. "There is an irony that runs through the work, and a sense of joy, and that's also something I want to translate into this new chapter."
His collection, which he only had a month to work on, featured playful tromp l'oell prints, callbacks to the Moschino archives with question mark graphics, and joyful smiley face sweaters and accessories.
